  • It is needed for one to design the better models estimating emission and then with the real time data, make the monitoring system simulating emission rate because of having built the basement of accepting real-time traffic information in ITS projects. The objective of the study is to develop the monitoring system visualizing air pollution to a certain place. It is based on the estimated emission from the patterns of individual vehicles and the changes of traffic flow. For constructing simulator, we loaded referring algorithm in actuality program and simulates the traffic flow movement in a microscopic viewpoint. The simulator is able to express not only the movement of each car but also to visualize processing the emission and diffusion of the air pollutant by computer program. Not only expresses the simulation process the angle of vision but it also cutting down environment expenses and improving the traffic impact assessment and the traffic impact assessment.

  • Neural networks are shown to be effective in being able to distinguish incomplete penetration-like weld defects by directly analyzing the plasma which is generated on each impingement of the laser on the materials. The performance is similar to that of existing methods based on extracted feature parameters. In each case around 93% of the defects in a database derived from 100 artificially produced defects of known types can be placed into one of two classes: incomplete penetration and bubbling. The present method based on classification using plasma is faster, and the speed is sufficient to allow on-line classification during data collection.

  • In this paper, we developed a technique to graphically display impact effects for remote monitoring or simulation systems. A remote monitoring or simulation system is being used to find a repair time or to prevent accidents while inspecting equipment or facilities in an industrial site in real time. These systems provide visual information to users so that they can analyze problem situations. The technique proposed in this paper is a method of modeling equipment and facilities using 3D graphics, and displaying the location of impact and damage occurring in the equipment inside using volume rendering. This technique has the advantage that the problem can be identified more accurately by displaying the impact animation by volume rendering at the location of the impact and damage inside the equipment. And it is expected that the problem situation can be identified more quickly through more intense visual effects.

  • Recently, Hybrid Electric Vehicle(: HEV) is in the spotlight to global warming caused by carbon dioxide and emission reduction. HEV consists of a combination of mechanical engine and electric motor system. The flow of energy required to drive a HEV depends on the driving conditions of the vehicle. In this paper, we study the contents of HEV education using real-time monitoring system. A real-time monitoring system consisting of hardware and virtual programs is used to simulate the overall operation of a HEV through simulations according to driving conditions and to explain how to learn through hardware.

  • This paper presents an efficient data storage and reconstruction method in data acquisition and processing of monitoring system. The proposed method extracts minimum data using an interpolation from raw data which are acquired from a target system. The algorithm for data acquisition and reconstruction is based on Cubic Hermite interpolation. To verify the validity of the proposed scheme, we presents simulation results and it is applied to a monitoring system for grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system to prove the high-performance of the proposed method.

  • It often occur to nature disaster that like earthquake, typhoon, etc. around KOREA. A Haiti and Chile also metropolitan area of KOREA occur earthquake. in result, People consider nature disaster. Structures of present age are easily affected by nature disaster. So we are important that warn of dangerous situation as soon as possible. On this study, I introduce Integrated Health Monitoring System for Infra-structure. I develop Structure Health Monitoring System on web-site. Administrator always monitor structure on real-time using internet network. As Administrator using mobile device like PDA, Administrator always monitor structure. As using this system, Damage of nature disaster is minimized and is prevented post damage.

  • In this paper, we implement the real-time status monitoring system to surveil the object in the automation manufacturing facilities and we propose the CCTV video tracking system using the video tracking filter to improve efficiency. To surveil the object in automation manufacturing facilities, we implement monitoring SW on the based of the video tracking filter instead of the general method for the video monitoring so the reliable monitoring based on the PC is possible efficiently. In addition, accessibility and convenience for administrator are improved as the real-time status confirmation function. Also, we conform the performance improvement effect through the performance analysis of the proposed monitoring system using the video tracking filter.

  • This paper presents the development of a core module for integrating data from vehicle by the convergence technology of mobile telematics and black-box. This emerging technology can be referred to as Black-box in Mobile (BIM). For the development of BIM, sensors and cameras were realized in a driving robot. Relevant hardware implementation was achieved to verify the functionality of BIM. The transmitted signal from the driving robot was confirmed in an Android-based portable device. Existing Black-boxes were mostly developed by major transportation companies and focused only on storing data. The proposed BIM offers not only data storage but also easy-to-use real-time monitoring while in motion. In addition, the vehicle can be monitored on parking through shock sensors. This development is considered commercially viable as it is achieved via software implementation.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to present a basic study on the development of a self-generation infrastructure for monitoring the health of harbour structures. Method: By developing a self-generation system and fiber optic sensors for seawater, the study provides basic research data on port structure health monitoring. Result: Through sunlight simulation analysis, 4-5 hours of sunlight can be secure in the domestic environment. Through this, the optical splitter (Introgate) that collects the raw data from the FBG sensor applicable to seawater, the MCU that calculates it, the IoT module with wireless communication functionality, the monitoring server and the supply system are set up. Conclusion: Monitoring port structures directly with fiber optic probes (FBG) and the possibility of using selfpowered systems were confirmed.
