A Study on the Yube Literature of Mi-Am Yu hi-chun (미암 유희춘의 유배기 문학 연구)

  • Mi-Am Yu hi-chun(眉巖 柳希春, 1513~1577) was one of the Honam Sarim(湖南士林) with Ha-Sue Kim In-Hoo(하서 김인후) and Go-Bong Ki Dae-Seuing(고봉 기대승) in 16C. But He was condemned to exile and spend 19 years in Jong-Sung, with enthronement of King Sun-jo, was appointed as a gyeong'yeongwan(經筵官), one of the Eulsa sarim(乙巳士林). And at that time, he publicated Jujaeoryu munjip juhae(주자어류문집주해), which is a match for Toegye(퇴계). But due to the shortage of existing work, the study of his learning was not accomplish in depth. Then this article made clear his learning with Mi-Am ilgi (미암일기), which was written for ten years before he die. But a period of yubae literature did not studied. This article present this matter and established the feature.

A Study on the Characteristics of Yuyin ShanFang in China Lǐngnán Region (중국 영남지방 여음산방 원림의 특징에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we conducted an analysis on the actual field materials and the ancient text of January 2017. First, Yuyin ShanFang is one of the famous garden in the Lingnan Region, and its total area is $1598m^2$. Wobin called the name 'Yuyin(餘蔭)' meaning the virtues of his ancestors. Second, if we analyze the poem written by Wobin, we can classify it as a phrase expressing the world beyond the future, a poem expressing the ideas of family and romantic ideas. Third, the space spread to the south around the shrine building in the middle of the site was largely a residential space, according to the analysis of the site's layout and spatial composition. Fourth, the spatial component of the hydronic acid is analyzed. The pavilion area is the Hanchwi-Pavilion, which is designated in the Wongrim, and Gyesang-Pavilion, which is a unique range that describes the peak of the garden. Fifth, Yuyin ShanFang has five ponds that are very diverse in shape. It is characteristic of us to stand on a technical boundary. Sixth, Seokgasan was referred to as Gyeongbansan, which was named after The builder Wobin and his descendants who passed it. Seventh, Hwachang is characterized by a wooden bull window and a compound glass. Eighth, the alumni style is not as diverse as the alumni style of the Suzhou traditional garden, but it features various forms and colorful pictures on the front of the alumni. Ninth, the one-piece sculptures of the interior of a building are expressed themes such as Gilsang, Sukjeong, Daoism, Palseom, and others. Finally, Trees planted in Yuyin ShanFang are mostly tropical plants, and some of them have symbolic meaning. Because the weather here is good for growing fruit, so planted a lot of fruit trees.

A Study on the Spatial Structure of the Myonangjong through the Analysis on Poetry (시문을 통해 본 면앙정의 공간구조에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to find the architectural concepts of Song-Sun and the spatial structure of the Myonangjong through kasa, sijo, and Chinese poems. He considered his place as a ideal place to dwell a secluded life which is surrounded by mountains, and opened to a field in front. That places is connected with geomancy or Feng Sui, and he attached great importance to placeness of the Myonangjong as a pavilion. As his place was called 'tyoro samgan', his place should be simple, and that was harmonized with nature. He regarded his place as a part of the outside space and its surrounding nature. As the pen name of Myonangjong shows that his way of life is very pure so he need not disgrace against the earth and the sky, he considered his building as a place of embodying the Confucian great law of heaven and earth. Myonangjong has a concentric circle structure of the scenery which is viewed panoramically along with the visual direction.
