This paper reports test results to assess the influence of superplasticizers and different admixture on the flow and compressive strength development of cementless mortar using developed hwangtoh binder. Test specimens were classified into four groups: series for I the mixing ratio of superplasticizers, series II for a kind and replacement level of admixtures according to the variation of water/hwangtoh binder ratio, series III for the specific surface area and replacement level of ground granulated blast-furnace slag and series IV for the replacement level of powered superplasticizer agent developed to improve slump loss of concrete. The proper replacement level of each admixture is proposed for enhancement the flow and compressive strength of the hwangtoh binder mortar.

An improved approximate formula is presented for Series 60 forms, modifying the approximate formula, developed by the Author in 1983. The weather formula is based on interpretations of detailed calculations of speed loss, due to wind(van Berlekom), motions(Maruo), and wave reflection resistance(Kwon). Comparison is made between the result of the approximate formula and the one of detailed calculation. The result of the formula is also compared with some published full-scale data for speed loss.

This study was carried out to reduce the lateral vibration of high-speed electric multiple units. In the study, the high-speed electric multiple unit prototype (HEMU-430X) has a high lateral vibration at low equivalent conicity regardless of the wheel profiles (XP55, GV40, S1002). As wheel wear progresses and the equivalent conicity increases, the lateral vibration tends to decrease. The reason is that a combination of the suspension characteristics causes the body and bogie to resonate at a frequency of 1.4 Hz when the equivalent conicity is low, resulting in body hunting. An investigation of the lateral vibration of overseas high-speed trains showed that a decrease in the hydraulic stiffness of the yaw damper could improve the vibration. The series stiffness of the yaw damper is a combination of the hydraulic stiffness and elastic joint. In this study, an attempt was made to improve the lateral vibration by lowering the stiffness of the elastic joint. The series stiffness of the adjusted yaw damper was approximately 60% compared to the original one. The on track test results showed improvement in the lateral vibration for both running directions. The vibration reduction method of this study can be used for EMU-250 and EMU-320 in future commercial operations.

We will characterize isomorphisms from the adjoint of a certain tridiag-onal algebra $AlgL_{2n}$ onto $AlgL_{2n}$. In this paper the following are proved: A map $\Phi{\;}:{\;}(AlgL_{2n})^{*}{\;}{\longrightarrow}{\;}AlgL_{2n}$ is an isomorphism if and only if there exists an operator S in $AlgL_{2n}$ with all diagonal entries are 1 and an invertible backward diagonal operator B such that ${\Phi}(A){\;}={\;}SBAB^{-1}S^{-1}$.

31년 전 창업한 디지틀 이큅먼트사(DEC)는 연간 매출고 1백억 달러에 이익 10억 달러를 올리는 컴퓨터계의 제2인자가 되었다. DEC는 IBM에 비해 규모는 6분의 1에 지나지 않지만 지난 20년대 이 '정보산업의 거인'IBM의 가장 두려운 도전자의 자리를 지켜왔다. 그래서 업계에서는 DEC를 골리앗IBM에 대항하는 '다윗'으로 비유하고 있다. DEC의 매출고는 1984년이래 중형 컴퓨터인 백스 미니컴퓨터의 큰 성공에 힘입어 불과 4년간에 2배로 급증했다. 대당 1만 5천 달러에서 70만 달러의 이 중형 컴퓨터시장에서 DEC의 시장점유율은 1984년의 19%에서 현재 25%으로 뛰어올랐으나 IBM은 24%에서 16%로 오히려 줄어들었다.

우리 겨레가 현대식 학교를 설립하고 학교 교과로써 수학을 가르치기 시작한지도 올해로 115년이 된다. 1883년 덕원읍민이 설립한 원산학교는 공통과목으로 산수를 가르쳤다(박한식, 1991, p. 8). 1895년에는 국립으로 한성사범학교부속소학교를 세웠고 또 칙령으로 소학교령을 공포하여 초등수학교육의 제도적 기반을 마련하였다(박한식, 1991, p. 12). 1905년까지 10년 사이에 전국에 세운 공립소학교만 60여 개교나 되었다(박한식, 1991, p. 15). 이들 소학교에서는 모두 초등수학(산술)을 필수과목으로 가르쳤다. 이렇게 우리나라에 도입된 학교 교육으로서의 초등수학교육은 격변하는 역사의 소용돌이 속에서도 끊어지지 않고 이어졌다.(중략)

In the theory of the conditional Wiener integral, the integrand is a functional of the standard Wiener process. In this paper we consider a conditional function space integral for functionals of more general stochastic process and the generalized Kac-Feynman integral equation. We first show that the existence of a partial differential equation. We then show that the generalized Kac-Feynman integral equation is equivalent to the partial differential equation.

작년 7월부터 산업자원부, 한국산업기술재단, 특허정보원과 일반기계 중 4개 업종인 정밀광학기기, 가스기기, 섬유기계, 냉동기기가 1팀으로 구성되어 각 분야별 산업의 미래 발전상을 수립한 결과 최종 로드맵이 확정됐다. 지난 12월 21일 산업자원부 주최로 웨스틴조선호텔에서 열린 '미래 산업기술 비전 선포식'에서 정밀광학기기가 포함된 스마트 생산시스템을 비롯한 20개 산업분야에 대한 로드맵 최종 발표 시간을 가졌다. 본 고에서는 정밀광학기기 분야의 전체 로드맵 내용을 요약 게재한다. 또한 다음호부터는 전체 로드맵에서 세목별 로드맵을 시리즈로 게재할 예정이다.

99년과 2000년에 KBS를 통해 방송돼 선풍적인 인기를 끌었던‘검정고무신’은 이미 어른 아이 할 것 없이 우리에게 친숙한작품. 현재는 30~40대의 기성세대 된 이들의 어린시절이었던 60~70년대의 추억을 정겹게 묘사한 창작 애니메이션으로 재미뿐 아니라 아련한 추억의 감동까지 동시에 전하고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 화제의 애니메이션 검정고무신이 3년만에 부활해 지난 5월 19일부터 새롭게 안방문을 두드렸다. 원작만화가 92년부터 출간되기 시작해 아직도 인기리에 연재되고 있는 상황에서 재구성된 검정고무신은 시청자들의 관심을 반증하는 것이다. 특히 후속시리즈로 다시 제작된 이 작품은 산학협동으로 제작돼 주목을 받고 있다. 아련한 추억의 세계로 우리를 인도하고 있는 검정고무신을 만나본다.

1965년 건축사 자격증 제도가 생긴 이래로 내년이면 대한건축사협회도 50주년을 맞습니다. 긴 여정의 건축계를 돌아보니, 앞서가신 원로 건축사들의 여정이 궁금해집니다. 60년대부터 현재까지 세계가 놀랄 만큼 눈부신 발전을 한 우리나라를 둘러보니, 경제 성장만큼이나 성장한 건축물들이 우리 주변을 둘러싸고 있습니다. 그 현장 곳곳이 선배 건축사분들의 발자취가 아닐까 합니다. 오늘 이 자리에는 70, 80대 건축사분들이 함께 했습니다. 함께하는 자리에서 선배님들의 주옥같은 역사를 들어보겠습니다.
