Specificity of Prefounded Column for Top-Down Construction (Top-Down 공사용 선기초기둥의 특성)

  • For deep basement construction of buildings downtown, the usage of Top-Down Method is increasing as much as ever from strong demand. One of the essential elements for the construction by Top Down Method is the pre-founded columns, which are installed in the ground and on which a building is installed. The fact that the pre-founded columns are placed in the ground makes them susceptible to its plumbness; this aspect distinguishes pre-founded columns from general columns. However, there are no criteria for erection tolerance. Therefore, field-measured-data concerning out-of-plumb of pre-founded columns in the construction field should be accumulated and investigated so that criteria and specifications for the erection tolerance of pre-founded columns may be established through the understanding of its aspects. In this paper, we investigate out-of-plumb of pre-founded columns for the construction case and analyze its aspects, and propose considerations for design and construction phase.

Initial Equilibrium State Analysis of Cable Stayed Bridges Considering Axial Deformation (축방향 변형을 고려한 사장교의 초기평형상태 해석)

  • The study proposed the initial equilibrium state analysis method that considers axial deformation, in order to accurately determine the initial shape of a cable-stayed bridge. Sepecifically, the proposed method adopted the successive iteration method. In order to evaluate appropriate initial cable force introduced in the initial equilibrium state analysis, parametric studies were performed and a useful linear analysis method proposed. The geometrically nonlinear static behaviors of cable-stayed bridges were considered, using three-dimensional frame element and elastic catenary cable element. The usefulness and applicability of the analytic method proposed in this study were demonstrated using numerical examples, including a real cable-stayed bridge. The algorithm, is applicable in cases wherein axial deformation is not adopted in the fabrication camber, or final cable force is adjusted to eliminate construction and fabrication errors occurring during construction.

Estimation of Stay Cable Tension Using String Vibration Theory (현이론을 이용한 사장교 케이블 장력산정)

  • Estimate method of cable tension forces can be classified into direct method and indirect method. Direct method is not accuracy and it has many restrictions. Therefore, in generally Indirect method, vibration method using natural frequency, has been applied to estimate the tension forces. In this study, cable tensions of recently constructed cable-stayed bridge are measured using string vibration method and this result comparing with result of multiple mode method. To put it brief, the error of string vibration method is not exceeding 2% under 7th mode. Specially third and 4th mode error is not exceeding 1%. safety.

Extraction of Highway′s Superelevation Using GPS Real Time Kinematic Surveying (GPS 실시간 동적측위법을 이용한 도로 편경사 추출)

  • This study is about the extraction of highway's superelevation using real time kinematic surveying among of GPS surveying methods which is economic method to construct data base in the side of highway maintain management. Using the developed vehicle, center line and shoulder of highway are measured and enough precision is obtained after analyzing the result. The result is show that 1.3 cm to 2.0 cm error in the clothed and about 0.8 cm to 1.2 cm error in the circular curve. Those errors are proved error to lane making during construction. This study is expected to become efficient method for extraction of highway alignment elements in the Mobile Mapping System.

  • 국내의 비정형 건축물은 현재 도입기로, 동대문디자인파크, 전곡선사박물관, 부산국제영화센터 등이 건설 계획 되어지고 있지만 대부분이 실시설계 또는 착공단계에 머물고 있고, 아직까지 구체적인 시공단계에 이른 건축물이 없는 실정으로 비정형외장재의 이중곡률 (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spines)을 반영한 프로토타이핑(Prototyping), 패널화(Panelizing), 현장조립 시 기하학 통제기법, 시공오차 측정기법, As-Planned 도면과 As-Built 도면의 비교를 통한 준공도면의 작성기법 등에 대한 준비가 절실히 필요한 상황이다. 그러나 현재 비정형 건축물의 설계는 초기계획(Concept Design) 단계에서 건축가와 구조기술자의 협업 중요성만 강조되고 있고, 건축물이 비정형화됨에 따라 기하학적으로 설계 및 시공되어야 하는 건축물의 외장재에 대한 설계방법과 시공단계에서 시공품질 확보방안, 시공 하자를 유발시키는 다양한 변수에 대한 대응방안 등은 아직까지도 그 중요성을 인식하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비정형 건축물의 설계에 사용되는 Architectural Geometry Control 도구 중 그 활용성이 부각되어 지고 있는 Bentley 사의 Generative Components를 활용하여 비정형 건축물의 이중곡률 곡면외장재의 부재생산을 위한 패널화, 제작도면 추출에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 한다.

A Study on the Simplification of Quantity Calculation of Reinforcing Bar (철근 수량산출 간소화 방안)

  • Quantity takeoff and cost estimates in Korea are carried out in practice without any clear standards or standards. Especially, quantity takeoff of Reinforcing bar and BoQ documentation process is very complex using 2D drawings. In this study, 10 case sites were analyzed for the status of inefficient quantity takeoff and how the statement was prepared. In order to solve this problem, this study presented a method for calculating the quantity of rebars through the ratio of concrete volume for schools, offices, and apartment buildings, and analyzed the accuracy of results. In the future, it is expected that the error range can be reduced by defining the factors affecting the results and calculating the correction value for them.

Three Dimensional Construction Stage Analysis and Deformation Monitoring of a Reinforced Concrete Highrise Building (철근콘크리트조 초고층건물의 3차원 시공단계 해석 및 시공중 변형 계측)

  • In this paper, axial strains and lateral displacements of columns in a 58-story reinforced concrete building were measured using vibrating wire gauge and laser scanner, respectively, and compared with predicted values. Predictions were obtained using ASAP, which is a 3D construction stage analysis program developed based on PCA report. Comparisons indicated that columns in the middle of floor plan showed good correlation with predictions. However, the columns in the corners showed some deviations. Lateral displacement of columns between measurement and estimation showed similar trends but considerable deviations, which are seemingly caused by construction error of column faces, and inaccuracy in differential vertical displacement prediction.

  • The electronic distance measurement(EDM) instrument, introduced first in the 1950s since those early days has, undergone continual refinement. Rapid advances established in related technologies have made it lighter, smaller and more precise equipment. Understanding for the principle, the standardized observation technique and the precision of EDM instrument is mostly important to improve the quality and the reliability of by-product in the field of engineering and industrial surveying. Periodical and accurate calibration is necessary to maintenance the precision of EDM instrument. This paper describes the calculated example of zero error and scale error as a correction of EDM by applying the least square method to baseline observations in test area. Also here we deal with the testing criteria for precision instrument testing according to different types of EDM instruments.

3D Digital Design Optimization Process Considering Constructability of Freeform Structure (비정형 구조물의 시공성을 고려한 3차원 디지털 설계 최적화 프로세스)

  • Nowadays the widely used media in architecture include visualizations, animations and three-dimensional models. 3D digital methods using active CAM(Computer Aided Manufacturing) and CNC(Computerized Numerical Control) imaging have been developed for accurate shape and 3D measurements in freeform buildings. In contrast to a conventional building using auto CAD system and others, the proposed digital optimization method is based on a combination of 3D numerical data and parametric 3D model for design and construction. The objective of this paper is therefore to present digital optimization process for constructability of freeform building. The method can be useful in the effective implementation of an error-proofing process of freeform building during design and construction phase. 3D digital coordinate data can be used effectively to identify correct size of structural and finish members and installation location of each members in construction field. In addition, architects, engineers and contractors can evaluate design, materials, constructability and identify error-proofing opportunities. Other project participants can also include representatives from all levels of management, departments as well as workers and key subcontractors' personnel, if necessary. The 3D digital optimization process is therefore appropriate to serious variations in freeform shape. For future study, the developed digital optimization method is necessary to be carried out to verify the robustness and accuracy for constructability in construction field.

압축력을 받는 철골 부재에 있어서 좌굴대책

  • 본 고에서는 철골 구조물에 있어서 일어나고 있는 좌굴에 대해, 현재 외국에서 진행중인 연구의 일부를 소개하였다. 이들의 기본 개념은 좌굴이 일어날 수 있는 압축부재에 있어서 최대내력, 즉 좌굴이 일어나기 이전에 부재를 압축에 대해 항복시킴으로써, 좌굴을 방지하려는 연구의 일종으로서, 부재의 강도면에 있어서는 큰 손실이 뒤따르게 된다. 하지만, 트러스 등의 구조물에 있어서 압축보다 인장에 대해서 사전에 항복하도록 설계(선인장 항복설계)가 이루어진 경우일지라도, 인장항복만으로 붕괴기구가 형성된다. 또한, 일반적으로 트러스를 제작함에 있어서 시공상의 오차가 발생할 가능성이 상존하고 있으며, 부정확하게 시공된 구조물에 있어서는 설계시 상정된 파괴기구와는 다른 형태의 파괴기구가 형성될 가능성이 있다. 따라서, 안정항복하여 큰 소성변형이 필요한 경우에는 상기의 방법이 유효하다고 사료된다. 한편 본 고에서 예로 다루고 있는 2중 강관구조에 있어서는, 외관과 내관의 단면적비가 약 1:1.5 정도이며, 보강재로 사용되는 내관을 아무리 저급의 제품을 사용한다해도 불경제적이 될 가능성이 크다. 따라서 금후, 내관의 단면 결정을 위한 많은 연구가 이루어져야 한다고 생각한다.
