The Effect of SNAGs and Biofeedback Training on the Integrative Propriocepcion and Function of the Patients with Cervical Disorder (목의 기능장애 환자들에게 SNAGs기법과 바이오피드백 훈련이 통합적 고유수용성 감각과 목의 기능에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was undertaken to determine the effects of SNAGs (sustained natural apophyseal glides) and visual convergence biofeedback on the proprioception and neck disability of patients with chronic neck dysfunction. A total of 31 patients with neck dysfunction were assigned to either SNAGs (n = 16) or biofeedback (n = 15). The groups were assessed for proprioception and neck disability, before and after the intervention. The SNAGs were performed using belt with flexion, extension and right-left rotation, whereas biofeedback training included visual feedback training with deep neck flexor. Intervention was implemented for 20 minutes, twice a week for 4 weeks. Biofeedback training a showed significant effect on the joint position sense (left and right rotation) as compared to the SNAGs group (p< 0.05), whereas neck disability index was significantly effective for SNAGs (p< 0.05). Therefore, the SNAGs technique is effective for neck function, and biofeedback training is a positive intervention method for enhancing the proprioceptive sensation. Systematic Review of Method for Application of Oral Sensorimotor Intervention for Feeding Disorders in Children with Cerebral Palsy (섭식 장애가 있는 뇌성마비 아동에게 적용된 구강감각운동치료방법에 대한 체계적 고찰)

  • Objective: This study was conducted to comprehensively analyze domestic and international literature on the oral sensorimotor intervention approaches and evaluation/non-instrumental assessment methods for children with cerebral palsy with feeding disorders. Methods: One hundred and seventy-six papers published from January 2009 to December 2018 were screened. Forty-seven papers were selected based on the abstract and title, and five papers were selected through a secondary search. Results: The PEDro scale of the selected papers was high with an average of 7 points, and the therapeutic intervention period was found to be between 2 and 6 months, providing therapeutic interventions once to 5 times a week, at least 15 minutes to 1 hour a day. The treatment approach was used with impairment-based intervention and adaptive-based intervention, and the assessment method was divided into clinical evaluation and non-instrumental assessments. Conclusion: Through this systematic review, we found that there are a variety of oral sensorimotor interventions for children with cerebral palsy with feeding disorders. This study provides support for planning oral sensorimotor intervention programs for occupational therapy in clinical practice for children with cerebral palsy.

Review of Non-invasive Interventions for Drooling Problems in Children With Cerebral Palsy: Trends and Analysis of Interventions for Drooling (신경발달장애 아동의 침흘림치료를 위한 비침습적 중재방법에 관한 고찰: 경향 및 중재방법 분석)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze non-invasive treatments and drooling assessment methods in children with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities, who drool. Methods : This study searched two hundred papers published in 2005-2019. Forty-four papers were selected based on their abstract and title, and ten papers were finally selected following a secondary search. Results : The PEDro Scale of the selected papers was high with an average of seven points. As a result of analyzing the overall trends, the study participants were primarily patients with cerebral palsy, and recently, the therapeutic intervention of oral sensory exercise was more actively studied than behavioral modification. Studies of behavioral modification and oral sensory exercise intervention methods were found to have differences in participant age and, cognitive level, number of participants, research design, treatment time, and duration. Studies to confirming the frequency and severity of the drooling measurement method were found to be the main factor. Conclusion : This study analyzed typical behavioral modification and oral sensory exercise interventions as examples of non-invasive therapeutic interventions for children with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities and provided information to help select appropriate therapeutic intervention methods when planning non-invasive therapy using behavioral modification and oral sensory exercise therapy.

Space Image and Preference of Stylish Hotel -Focusing on Verbal Image and Color Image of 'Stylish'- (스타일리시 호텔의 공간이미지와 선호도 -스타일리시의 언어이미지와 색채이미지를 중심으로-)

  • This study is the one on space image and preference of stylish hotels. And in addition to them, it is the one to verify the minimal style arrangement in the survey results about verbal image and color image of stylish according to gender and age which are the precedent studies. The research result has found that there was no any meaningful difference in gender and age. And the result which extracted the representative languages to investigate correlationship between space image and verbal image of stylish has done that you feel that space image is stylish recognizing individual, sensuous, simple and urban characteristics. Also, space image and preference has done that there are B Hotel of Robby space, C Hotel of food and drink space and A Hotel of room space and color image and preference has done that there are respectively high brightness and low chroma, high brightness and low chroma and low brightness and low chroma. They are the same result with the minimal style arrangement which was recognized as the most stylish things in the precedent studies. It has found that the respondents recognize space image of Stylish hotels as refined, sensuous and individual one linguistically and space of high brightness and low chroma, low brightness and low chroma and low brightness and low chroma as the stylish things. The purpose of the study is to suggest the new design directions for stylish space display and design marketing.

  • Many researches have been published about the numerous factors related to the chewing ability of implant prosthesis. Most respective studies have concluded that the chewing ability of implant prosthesis is mostly fine compared to other type of prosthesis. However, some patients are not satisfied with their chewing ability of implant prosthesis. Therefore the neurologic factor, one of the factors related to dissatisfaction of chewing ability was reviewed in this study to understand the mechanism of action of mastication. Data was searched using the keywords; 'implant chewing ability, masticatory ability' in Pubmed database and reviewed. Definitions of chewing ability, factors of chewing ability are reviewed and the neurologic factor, one of the factors influencing on chewing ability, is reviewed. Mechanoreceptor of Periodontal ligament(PDL) is providing the mastication information to brainstem. Due to the absence of mechanoreceptions of PDL in implant, masticatory ability is decreased especially when chewing hard food. Masticatory muscles and mechanoreceptor in TMD may compensate the lack of mechanoreceptor of PDL in implants. Furthermore sensitivity of nerve fiber around peri-implant tissues may support the mechanoreception and sensory reaction in the implant mastication. However, further studies should be conducted to prove the relationships between neurologic factors and mastication.

The Study on the Improvement of Function and Sensation Symptoms of Binocular Vision for Vision Training Methods (시기능 훈련방법에 의한 양안시 기능적.감각적 증상 개선 효과 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigated the effect of vision training methods on the visual function and sensation symptoms of patients with convergence insufficiency. Mehtods: The vision training observation group included 35 clients who had binocular vision disorders without opthalmic diseases or vertical phoria. They took the each vision training once a week for eight weeks and were investigated for the function and sensation symptoms changes of binocular vision. Results: According to the results, all vision training methods showed improvement of binocular vision function and sensation symptoms. For Worth 4 Dot test, Titmus test and red lenses observed the changes in fusion rate, all the training methods showed similar improvements. Conclusions: The study proved that vision training methods for patients with binocular vision was effective for the improvement of the phoria, function and sensation symptoms of these patients.

남녀 대학생들의 성격 지표에 따른 영양섭취실태와 식습관 점수

  • 본 연구는 남녀 대학생들의 성격유형 판별을 위해 많이 사용되고 있는 MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) 검사를 통한 성격 지표와 영양섭취실태와 식습관 사이의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해서 경기도 Y 대학교에 재학하고 있는 남녀대학생 283명을 대상으로 수행되었다. 조사대상자의 성격 유형은 남녀 모두에서 외향성(Extroversion, 55.8%)이 내향성 (Introversion, 44.2%)보다 조금 많았고, 감각형 (Sensing, 78.1%)이 직관형 (iNtuition, 21.9%)보다 많았으며, 사고형 (Thinking, 67.8%)이 감정형 (Feeling, 32.2%)보다 많고, 판단형 (Judging, 50.2%)과 인식형 (Perceiving,49.8%)은 비슷한 비율로 나타났다. 조사대상자들의 식습관 조사 결과 남학생이 100점 기준으로 46.1점, 여학생이 45.1점으로 유의한 차이가 없었고, 영양소 섭취 실태 조사 결과 남학생이 2,019㎉로 한국인 에너지 권장량의 80.8%, 여학생은 1,675㎉로 권장량의 83.7%를 섭취하고 있었다. 미량 영양소의 경우에는 남학생은 칼슘과 비타민 B$_2$, 여학생은 칼슘, 철, 비타민 C, 비타민 A를 권장량의 90% 미만으로 섭취하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 식습관과 여러 가지 영양소 섭취량은 양의 상관관계를 보여서 식습관 점수가 좋을수록 영양소 섭취량이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 성격 선호 경향에 따른 식습관 점수에서는 판단형의 사람들이 인식형보다 식습관 점수가 유의하게 높게 나타났고, 다른 성격유형의 경우에는 유의 차는 없지만, 외향성, 감각형, 사고형에서 그에 대조되는 성격 선호지표보다 식습관 점수가 높은 경향이었다. 성격 선호 경향에 따른 영양소 섭취실태에서는 남녀 모두에서 외향성이 내향성보다 영양섭취실태가 좋았고, 남학생의 경우에는 감정형이 사고형보다 영양 섭취실태가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 영양 밀도로 살펴보았을 때에는 사고형과 판단형이 그에 대조되는 감정형과 인식형보다 영양 밀도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 대학생의 성격 유형에 따라 판단형의 사람들이 인식형의 사람들보다 식습관이 좋고, 외향성의 사람들이 내향성의 사람들보다 영양섭취실태가 양호한 것으로 사료된다. 한 편, 감각형-직관형은 식습관이나 영양섭취실태와 뚜렷한 관련성을 보여주지 않았고, 사고형-감정형은 감정형의 경우 남학생에서 영양섭취실태가 좋았지만, 영양밀도나 식습관에서는 사고형이 더 좋은 경향을 보여주어서 일관된 경향을 찾기가 어려웠다. 앞으로 대학생을 대상으로 한 영양 상담시에 이들의 성격 유형을 참조하면 영양상담 대상자를 보다 잘 이해할 수 있으므로, 이에 적합한 영양 지도 방법을 제시하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 뇌졸중으로 인한 편마비 장애인은 뇌손상으로 인해 운동 및 감각 신경 통로의 장애가 있어, 기립 및 보행 시 비정상적인 행태를 보이는 경우가 많다. 과도한 외회전은 보행 시 안전성을 보장 받기 어려워 낙상 등 신체적 위험에 처할 수 있고, 또한 비장애인의 보행과의 시각적 차이로 인하여 환자들의 심리적 위축감을 가중시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 외회전 보행 시 편마비 장애인에게 피드백을 주어 자가 교정이 가능하도록 시스템을 개발하였으며, 이는 외회전 보행을 하는 편마비 장애인의 보행 교정에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 합성전장훈련체계를 통해 지휘관 및 참모 훈련뿐만 아니라 기존의 야외 실기동훈련시 제한 되었던 전투경험을 가능하게 함으로써 전장 적응능력을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 훈련자체가 전투임을 인식하고 전장실상 및 전투양상에 지휘관 및 각개병사의 사고가 지향되도록 할 수 있을것이다. 훈련후에는 추상적이고 주관적인 훈련성과 검증이 아닌 과학적 분석과 정밀한 사후검토 체계에 의한 교훈도출과 특정국면을 재현한 전술토의가 가능하므로 보다 수준 높은 전술적 식견과 전투감각을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 이 논문은 일본의 호리따씨가 1983년 8월 고베시에서 열린 제4차 세계음성학자 대회에서 발표한 내용의 영역본이다. "음성언어의 직감적 개발"이란 부제가 붙은 "위이훠 방법"이란 호리따씨가 개발해 낸 농아와 그 밖의 언어장애자의 발음 훈련 및 교정법인데, 혀의 감각이 둔한 장애자의 혀에 종이같이 얇은 고자 조각을 붙여서 발음하게 함으로써 정확한 조음 위치를 파악하여 올바른 발음을 익히도록 하는 방법이다. 대회에서도 상당한 관심을 끈 논문이므로 우리나라의 언어치료계를 위하여 소개한다. 이 방법은 음성훈련 및 외국어의 발음교육에도 이용될 수 있을 듯 하다.
