  • 환자 이력, 구매자 이력, 웹 로그 이력 데이터에 대한 시간 데이터 마이닝에 대한 연구에서 시간 간격 관계 규칙을 찾아내는 것은 가변적인 시간 간격의 데이터를 하나의 이벤트로 요약하는 것은 합리적이지 못하다. 이는 그 이벤트가 가변적인 시간 간격 내에서 서로 독립적인 이벤트일 수 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 이벤트들의 시퀀스를 독립적인 서브 시퀀스로 나누어 각 서브 시퀀스별로 시간 간격을 갖는 인터벌 이벤트로 요약하는 것이 합리적이다. 본 논문은 이벤트 시퀀스를 시간 간격을 갖는 인터벌 이벤트로 요약하고 요약된 인터벌 이벤트들로부터 인터벌 관계 규칙을 찾아내는 새로운 시간 데이터 마이닝 기법을 제안하고 있다. 이 기법은 인터벌 관계들 사이의 규칙을 찾아줌으로서 기존의 데이터 마이닝 기법과 비교하여 질적으로 우수한 지식을 제공한다.

Performance of PN Code Based Time Hopping Sequences in M-ary Ultra Wide Band Multiple Access Systems Using Equicorrelated Signal Sets (동일 상관 신호군을 이용하는 M-ary UWB 다원 접속 시스템에서 PN 부호 기반 시간 도약 시퀀스의 성능)

  • In this paper, we evaluate the performance of PN (Pseudo Noise) code based time hopping sequences for M-ary UWB (Ultra Wide Band) multiple access systems using the equicorrelated signal sets. In particular, we consider two different types of M-ary UWB systems in UWB indoor wireless multipath channels: The first type of the systems (System #1) has identical symbol transmission rate regardless of the number of symbols M since the length of signal pulse train is fixed while M increases, and the second type of the systems (System #2) has the same bit transmission rate regardless of M since the length of signal pulse train is extended according to the increase of M. We compare the proposed systems with those using the ideal random time hopping sequence in terms of the symbol error rate performance. Simulation results show that the PN code based time hopping sequence achieves quite good performance which is favorably comparable to that of the ideal random sequence. Moreover, as M increases, we observe that System #2 shows better robustness against multiple access interference than System # 1.

  • 시간 속성을 갖는 이벤트들의 집합에서 이벤트들 사이의 인과관계를 보다 정확히 파악할 수 있는 방법의 개발은 의료 분야 등의 응용에서 미리 발생할 이벤트에 발생 시점 예측을 위하여 필요하다. 본 논문은 이벤트들의 시퀀스를 독립적인 서브 시퀀스로 나누고 각 서브 시퀀스를 인터벌을 갖는 이벤트로 요약하여 인터벌 이벤트들 사이의 관계를 표현한다. 그리고 인터벌 이벤트 관계에서 원인 인터벌 이벤트가 결과 이벤트에 미친 영향 정도의 측정 방법을 개발하고 실험을 통하여 사용한 척도의 의미와 정확성을 파악한다. 실험 결과는 제안 방법이 지지도 기반의 평가보다 보다 우수함을 입증한다.

  • The event sequence of the same type from a set of events having time property can be summarized in one event. But if the event sequence having an interval, It is reasonable to be summarized more than one in independent sub event sequence of each other. In this paper, we suggest a method of temporal data mining that summarizes the interval events based on Allen's interval algebra and finds out interval event association rule from interval events. It provides better knowledge than others by using concept of an independent sub sequence and finding interval event association rules.

  • Information of video can be percieved as the form of visual rhythm through temporal ordering systems. The shot, the base unit of video analysis, affects audience psychologicaliy with various temporal combination. Here, psychological stress and density of the story can be adjusted by the point of view shot of character. Acordingly the correlation analysis of shot duration and point of view shot can be useful for visual rhythm research. Identity one of the thriller genre works was selected for analyzing.   • U-Health collects patient information with various kinds of sensor. Stream data can be summarized as an interval event which has aninterval between start-time-point and end-time-point. Most of temporal mining techniques consider only the event occurrence-time-point and ignore stream data change of state. In this paper, we propose the temporal mining technique considering the event change of state in U-Health. Our method overcomes the restrictions of the environment by sending a significant event in U-Health from sensors to a server. We define four event states of stream data and perform the temporal data mining considered the event change of state. Finally, we can remove an ambiguity of discovered rules by describing cause-and-effect relations among events in temporal relation sequences.

  • UML 2.0의 시퀀스 다이어그램은 실시간 특성을 표기할 수 있는 표기법이 추가됨으로써 시간의 엄격성이 중요하게 여겨지는 임베디드 소프트웨어의 행위를 보다 정확하고 상세하게 모델링 할 수 있게 되었다. 시퀀스 다이어그램은 전체 시스템의 부분적인 행위를 기술하여 같은 행위가 여러 다이어그램에 걸쳐서 기술되어지므로 이들 다이어그램들은 서로 일관성을 가져야 하는데 복잡한 시스템에서 일관성을 검사하는 것은 어려운 일이다. 본 논문에서는 행위 모델을 표현하는 시퀀스 다이어그램과 다른 다이어그램에 기술된 실시간 특성들의 일관성을 자동으로 검사할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 서로 다른(inter) 다이어그램들 사이의 시간적인 일관성을 유지하기 위한 제약사항을 파악하여 정의한다. 그리고 모델을 구성하는 인스턴스들에 대한 제약사항을 OCL로 기술하는데 이는 UML 2.0이 발표되면서 모델의 의미를 정확하고 상세하게 표현할 수 있는 메타 모델과 그들의 연관관계가 추가되고 명확하게 정의됨에 따라 가능하게 된 것이다. 이렇게 OCL로 정형화되어 기술된 식은 UML 2.0 메타 모델을 이용한 어느 모델에나 적용 가능하며 모델의 문제점을 발견하고 정확한 모델을 구축하도록 도와준다.

Inter-Process Testing of Parallel Programs based on Message Sequence Charts Specifications (MSC 명세에 기반한 병렬 프로그램의 프로세스 간 테스팅)

  • Most of prior works on testing parallel programs have concentrated on how to guarantee the reproducibility by employing event traces exercised during executions of a program. Consequently, little work has been done to generate meaningful event sequences, especially, from specifications. This paper describes techniques for deriving event sequences from Message Sequence Charts(MSCs) which are widely used in telecommunication areas for its simplicity in specifying the behaviors of a program. For deriving event sequences from MSCs, we have to uncover the causality relations among events embedded implicitly in MSCs. In order to attain this goal, we adapt vector time stamping which has been previously used to determine the ordering of events taken place during an execution of interacting processes. Then, valid event sequences, satisfying the causality relations, are generated according to the interleaving rules suggested in this paper. The feasibility of our testing technique was investigated using the phone conversation example. In addition, we discussed on the experimental results gained from the example and how to combine various test criteria into our testing environment.

A Bio-Inspired Modeling of Visual Information Processing for Action Recognition (생체 기반 시각정보처리 동작인식 모델링)

  • Various literatures related computing of information processing have been recently shown the researches inspired from the remarkably excellent human capabilities which recognize and categorize very complex visual patterns such as body motions and facial expressions. Applied from human's outstanding ability of perception, the classification function of visual sequences without context information is specially crucial task for computer vision to understand both the coding and the retrieval of spatio-temporal patterns. This paper presents a biological process based action recognition model of computer vision, which is inspired from visual information processing of human brain for action recognition of visual sequences. Proposed model employs the structure of neural fields of bio-inspired visual perception on detecting motion sequences and discriminating visual patterns in human brain. Experimental results show that proposed recognition model takes not only into account several biological properties of visual information processing, but also is tolerant of time-warping. Furthermore, the model allows robust temporal evolution of classification compared to researches of action recognition. Presented model contributes to implement bio-inspired visual processing system such as intelligent robot agent, etc.

  • This study, views the color of scenery not as a static state, but rather as a continuous sequence of perceptions that incorporates the concept of time. This study derived techniques to quantitatively analyze the flow and data from this sequence. By utilizing this, urban color trends can be based on openness. This is very close to what would be experienced by an actual viewer: it extracted color data and visual amount from frames at 2-second intervals by shooting a video of the color sequence of the city as seen from both the left and right sides from the inside of the monorail (line 3 of the Daegu urban railway). These images were classified by color group, brightness, chroma, high chroma distribution derived techniques such as openness of space, brightness level, clarity level, high-chroma distribution and code, advantage of visual amount, dominant factor exposure, hot and cold color image and dynamic of sequence rhythm. During the derived sequence, the data determines the openness in the visual amount of sky and it was found that the tendency of the colors of the city was opening regression analysis. The more colorful the city is opening the brightness is lowered, the chroma increased slightly, cold colors significantly increased, which also had a very deep relationship with Lynch enclosed proportion, color change of the city trends through the actual scenery could grasp in more detail.
