A New Cross Section Design Concept for Better Efficiency in Two-Lane Highways (2차로도로 효율성 제고를 위한 횡단면 설계 방안)

  • Currently, cross-section design can not reflect highway function and traffic volume, various construction. This research paper provides analysis of traffic accident type, improvement of traffic operation and safety, assessment for new cross-section standards of two-lane highway. Research show higher accident rate on 6$\sim$8.9m road than 9$\sim$12.9m road width in two-lane highway. Typical improvement is widening on lane and shoulder width. Simulation show large increase on 6$\sim$7m road delay-time in 1,200vph. In contrast 10$\sim$11.5m road shows slight change on delay-time. This research paper provides various cross-section construction by traffic volume in minor arterial and distributor two-lane highway. The new cross-section design provides adopting highway volume, various construction and flexibility.

  • 착유효과는 시간 당 소에 대한 일정한 일을 주로 측정하는 것이다. 그러나 시간 당 착유우유 kg에서 일정한 일의 양 또는 시간 당 더 좋은 우유 kg까지가 바라는 것이다. 소/시간에 대한 초점은 착유 전 유두준비에 소비시간을 감소 시키는 것이다. 그리고 이 검토는 우유생산, 안정된 우유흐름에 대한 시간, 유질과 유방건강에 중점을 둔 것이다. 우유의 질이나 유방염에 대하여 착유준비는 대단히 중요하다. 우리는 권장된 기준에 맞추어 착유준비를 하고 있는가? 스스로 검토하여 보아야 한다. 또한 그 기준에 정확히 따라서 함은 물론이고, 필요한 기구와 약제의 사용에도 하자가 없는지 재 확인하여 보아야 한다 그렇지 안으면 자기의 책임을 다른 곳에 돌리고 실제작업의 교정에는 실패를 하는 경우가 될 것이다.

The comparison and chronology of the lower marine terraces in the mid-eastern coast of Korean peninsula (韓反島 中部東海岸 低位海成段丘의 對比와 編年)

  • This Paper aims to compare the lower marine terraces distributed from Muckho to Gangneung in the mid-eastern coast of Korean peninsula by the geomorphic method of using characteristies of terrace features and terrace deposits, paleosol, and fossil cryogenic structures, and to estimate the age of the lower marine terraces on the basis of the comparisons of those with the characteristics of thalassostatic terrace in adjacent rivers. The 1ower marine terraces in this area can be classified into two levels, i.e., lower marine terrace I and II surfaces, in desending order, according to the difference of former shoreline altitude. The former shoreline heights of the lowerm marine terrace I and II surfaces are 18m and 10m, respectiveiy. The width of the I surface is broader and distributed more continuousiy than that of II surface. Daejin I surface in Muckho coast, and Myeongju and Anin terrace in Gangneung coast could be classified into the lower marine terrace I surface, and Daejin II surfaCe into II surface. The Surface of ancient shore platform of the lower marine terrace I and II surfaces were weathered, and the color of the terrace deposit ranges from red to reddish brown. And this terrace deposit is covered with slope deposit of Last Glacial or fossil periglacial structures (platy structure and vecicle) of Last Glacial are formed in terrace deposit. These facts indicate that the lower marine terrace I and II surfaces had been formed before the Last Glacial, and then affected by chemical weathering under warm environment, finally followed by cold period. But the deposit of the lower marine terrace I surface is more weathered than that of II surface. And pseudogleyed red soil, which is developed in I but not in II surface, could be judged to have been formed in the Last Interglacial culmination stage (Oxygen isotope stage 5e). Therefore, in terms of the degree of weathering of the terrace deposit and the existence of pseudogleyed red soil, the age of both terrace is thought to be a little different. And the characteristics of the above mentioned II surface are accord with those of thalassostatic terrace formed in middle or late period of the Last Interglacial (5e or 5a). Thus on the basis of above all points, the lower marine terrace I and II surfaces in this area could be seen to have formed in the Last Interglacial culmination stage and middle or late period of the Last Interglacial, respectively. Because the lower mamine terrace I surface is broadry distributed in the eastern coast of Korea nPeninsula, the surface could be used to be a key surface in studying Quaternary marine terraces.

쾌적침대개발을 위한 종합수면생리신호 분석

  • Medilog SAC847 수면종합분석시스템을 이용하여 침대와 온돌에서 성인 남 자가 수면시 피험자의 뇌전도, 턱근전도, 다리근전도, 심전도, 안전도(눈) 등의 생리신호를 동시 측정하여수면단계기록국제기준에 근거하여 NREM 4단 계와 REM 단계의 수면시간을 산정 하였다. 수면감을 평가하기 위하여 침대 와 온돌에서 수면시 입면지연시간과 NREM 단계4의 수면시간 비중을 고찰한 결과 침대수면이 온돌수면보다 입면지연 시간이 더짧게 나타났으며 나머지 NREM 4단계와 REM 단계에 소요된 수면시간은 서로 비슷하게 나타났다. 본 연구를 통한 수면생리신호 분석연구는 쾌적침대개발에 활용하고자 한다.

  • Cut-slope due to the road construction is one of the most significant problems in the domestic case, that is, 70% of the land is covered by mountain. Moreover, typhoons or heavy rains concentrated in summer season causes the failure of cut-slope. Rock-fall and soil slope failure take 40.8% and 29.5% out of the entire domestic cut-slope failure, respectively. Rock-fall is quickly occurred by the free fall or rolling of rock fragments generally in the upper slope. Soil slope failure produces a clastics-flow and increases casualty especially when caused by heave rainfall because the velocity of the movement is verb high. Considering the car speed and rock-fall velocity, it will take a life in a moment. This study analyzes a set of field data of most recently collapsed domestic road cut-slopes to characterize these cut-slopes and the nature of rock-falls and clastics flows at each site. Based on the results, design criteria for a road alarm system are proposed, considering the relationship between the time required for clastics-flow and the velocity and braking distance of a cat at the incidence. The road alarm system proposed herein would operate instantly after a rock-fall and it will minimize damages, by warning drivels approaching to the collapse or collapsing location in advance.

충적층 지하수의 철, 망간 기작 및 효율적 처리 방안 연구 -강변여과수 개발 현장을 중심으로-

  • 강변 여과 취수 방식을 활용한 국내 충적층 지하수의 이용을 위해서는 망간에 대한 수처리가 주요 사항인 것으로 나타났다. 강변 여과 방식 취수 원수의 망간 함량은 먹는 물 수질 기준을 부분적으로 상회하지만, 이러한 망간에 대한 저감 처리는 기존의 지표수를 취수하여 처리하는 수처리 공정에 비해서는 상대적으로 효율적인 것으로 판단된다. 실제로, 국내 최초의 강변 여과 방식 취수를 활용하는 창원시 대산 지구 원수는 공기 포기, 급속 여과, 활성탄 여과를 통해, 먹는 물 수질 기준을 상회하는 망간을 효과적으로 처리하고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 특히, 활성탄 여과가 망간제거 효과를 보이는 점은 특이한 현상으로, 활성탄 내에서도 철 관련 박테리아에 의한 망간 처리 가능성을 시사하고 있다. 또한 망간과 함께 나타나는 철 성분은 망간의 침전 처리에 긍정적인 면으로 작용하는 것으로 판단된다. 한편, 고령군 다산면에서의 실증 플랜트 실험은 전염소처리와 망간접촉여과를 통해 먹는 물 기준 이하의 망간 함량을 확보하는 데는 성공하였으나, 이러한 처리 기작이 안정화되는데 까지는 약 3개월 내외의 시간이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다.

Transformation Model of Vertical Datum between Land and Ocean Height System using the Precise Spirit Leveling Results (정밀수준측량 성과를 이용한 육상 및 해상 수직기준면 변환모델링)

  • It is difficult to obtain the accurate and homogeneous height information over the whole Korea due to the effect of different vertical datums have been divided into land and sea part. In this study, we tried to unify the different vertical datums using the precise spirit leveling between TBM (tidal bench mark) and BM (bench mark) in order to solve the problems caused by different vertical datums. For this, the vertical datum offsets at observed points which were calculate from leveling results and then transformation model of vertical datum will be modelled using calculated offsets along the coastal line. For suggesting the precise modelling method to vertical datum transformation, we analyzed results from various interpolation methods such as Spline and LSC method. As the results from analysis, the LSC method combined with 4-parameters trend model is more suitable for modelling the offsets between vertical datums. The final transformation model of vertical datum using the combination of LSC and 4-parameter model which provides the transformation accuracies of ${\pm}10.4cm{\sim}14.8cm$ level. And, the software for vertical datum transformation that was also developed using the final model in order to convert the height information included in various spatial data effectively. Therefore, the transformation model between vertical datums of land and sea part, which is developed in this study, is expected to minimize the confusion caused by mismatch of height information in the use of spatial data, and it also can be minimize economic and time losses in various application fields such as coastal development project, coastal disaster prevention, etc.

A Study on the Decision of the Interface Height in Compartment Fire (건물화재시 경계면 선정에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this research is to study on the decision of the interface height in a room in case of trashcan, chair, carpet and sofa as a fire starter in a residential room by performing the experimental studies. For the decision of the interface height, the temperatures of various positions in fire room are measured and the averaged temperatures are calculated from these measured temperatures every time and height. The temperatures of all positions in fire room are obtained as the basis of the measured temperatures and the middle point of the highest temperature slope is decided as the interface point. The interface heights were distinct and were around 1[m] maintaining constant state. However, at the time of the maximum temperature, the interface height was lowered to 0.25[m]-0.75[m] from the floor.

  • 지구환경문제와 에너지 수급관계를 감안할 때, 청정 및 대체에너지 연구개발은 불가피하며, 그 중에서도 태양에너지는 대표적인 대안의 하나로 인식된다. 따라서 태양에너지의 적극적인 활용에 필요한 기초자료의 마련은 필수적이다. 태양에너지의 이용 및 관련 절약 기술에 필요한 태양에너지 자원(기상)에 대한 기술자료는 최소한 30년간의 측정 자료를 필요로 한다. 이들 자료에는 시간별 수평면전 일사량, 법선면 직달일사량 및 수평면 산란일사량은 물론 시간별 평균치로 운량, 기온, 습도 등이 포함된다. 이들 자료로부터 자료의 분포, 평균 및 최고, 최저값 등과 같은 기초자료들을 선별하여 관련 시스템 설계에서 요구하는 기준을 충족하여야 하는 것이다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우, 태양에너지 자원에 대한 정밀한 측정은 1982년 이후 수평면 전일사량, 1990년 이후에서나 법선면 직달일사량에 대하여 본격적으로 이루어진 실정으로, 자료의 표준화 및 신뢰성 확보에는 여전히 상당한 시간과 노력이 요구되는 실정이다. 지속적인 측정과 더불어 요구되는 것으로 측정자료의 가공기술을 들 수 있다. 즉, 측정자료의 품질평가 및 관리 기술, 미측정 또는 불량자료의 복원 기술 및 측정 지역외 자료의 추정을 위한 보간기술 등이다. 이와 같은 기초자료 및 기술에 관한 연구개발은 보다 구체적인 적용에 앞서 필수적으로 이루어져야 할 과제이다.

Height Datum Transformation using Precise Geoid and Tidal Model in the area of Anmyeon Island (정밀 지오이드 및 조석모델을 활용한 안면도 지역의 높이기준면 변환 연구)

  • The height datum of Korea is currently separated into land and sea, which makes it difficult to acquire homogeneous and accurate height information throughout the whole nation. In this study, we therefore tried to suggest the more effective way to transform the height information were constructed separately according to each height datum on land and sea to those on the unique height datum using precise geoid models and tidal observations in Korea. For this, Anmyeon island was selected as a study area to develop the precise geoid models based on the height datums land (IMSL) and sea (LMSL), respectively. In order to develop two hybrid geoid models based on each height datum of land an sea, we firstly develop a precise gravimetric geoid model using the remove and restore (R-R) technique with all available gravity observations. The gravimetric geoid model were then fitted to the geometric geoidal heights, each of which is represented as height datum of land or sea respectively, obtained from GPS/Leveling results on 15 TBMs in the study area. Finally, we determined the differences between the two hybrid geoid models to apply the height transformation between IMSL and LMSL. The co-tidal chart model of TideBed system developed by Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA) which was re-gridded to have the same grid size and coverage as the geoid model, in order that this can be used for the height datum transformation from LMSL to local AHHW and/or from LMSL to local DL. The accuracy of height datum transformation based on the strategy suggested in this study was approximately ${\pm}3cm$. It is expected that the results of this study can help minimize not only the confusions on the use of geo-spatial information due to the disagreement caused by different height datum, land and sea, in Korea, but also the economic and time losses in the execution of coastal development and disaster prevention projects in the future.
