The purpose of the study are to identify factors of mathematical visualization through the thirty students of highschool 2nd year and to investigate how each visualization factor is used in mathematics problem solving process. Specially, this study performed the qualitative case study in terms of the five of thirty students to obtain the high grade in visuality assessment. As a result of the analysis, visualization factors were categorized into mental images, external representation, transformation or operation of images, and spacial visualization abilities. Also, external representation, transformation or operation of images, and spacial visualization abilities were subdivided more specifically.

최적의 사진을 얻기 위해 시각적 방해요소들을 개선할 수 있는 기술들을 조사했다. CNN 모델을 활용한 HDR 이미지 재구성, 방해물과 원하는 피사체와의 깊이 차이에서 생기는 시차를 이용한 이미지 처리를 사용해서 시각적 방해요소를 개선하는 알고리즘을 기술했다.

This study will examine the visual composition by which Secretly Greatly, in a circumstance that even the good original Manhwas or Webtoon have not made a hit on the market until now, could attract the spectator, in other word, illustrate the analogousness of the images through analysing visual texts. The study draw, first of all, a meaning of the box office performance caused by analogousness of image, that is similarity between the webtoon and film. In addition, the study will come up with an answer to the question that the webtoon, not in a temporary trend but in a sustainable form, can make itself develop. For this, the study suggests a meaning, worth and importance of the transformation, analysing visual components of a webtoon to film adaptation, Secretly Greatly. It primarily ranges over visual components, mise-en-scène identified with its expression formula, frame to frame changes and colour and tone. The examination sets the cinema's visual expression manner against the webtoon's on their concrete components: the size of scene, movement, color and tone, narrative condition and its background, spatial composition and depth, contrast, expression manner and disposition manner.

This study is about production techniques that can improve visual immersion in VR games. First, we reviewed the theory of VR games, current status, visual and immersion through prior work, and selected samples to extract key components that can improve visual immersion in VR games. and, VR games were produced and developed by applying the concept of COVID-19, which is currently popular around the world. As a result, the resolution of technical Element's, frame rate, viewing angle, brightness of lighting, design quality, and Contextual Element's storytelling, background, directing, color, texture, interest and fun because is Significant results that can induce and improve immersion were obtained, and in the end, smooth gameplay was realized. Through this research process and results, it is expected that it will be a basic data in the field of production and development of VR games that can induce and improve users' visual immersion in the future.

현대 사회에서 시각적인 요소는 제품의 기능 못지않게 중요한 요소로 작용하여, 시각적 요소에서 제품의 성패가 판가름 나는 경우도 있다. 하지만 이러한 상황 속에서 제품의 기능은 배제되고 시각적 요소만을 개발되는 경우가 발생되고, 겉보기에 화려한 제품들이 사용자들의 외면을 받기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 외면을 받은 응용 사례를 분석하고 평가하여, 유용성을 개선한 시각화 단축 아이콘 관리자모델을 제안하고 개발하였다.

This study analyzes the visual design elements in election posters and the influence they have. Focused on the Mayor of Seoul election in 2018, this research aims to find out the influence of visual elements on the possible cause of vandalisms of election posters. As a research method, the researcher analyzed the role of election posters and investigated examples of election poster vandalisms in Korea. In addition, the researcher conducted eight in-depth interviews about the positive and negative opinions about the visual elements of a specific candidate's election poster from the Mayor of Seoul election. As a result, there are two findings. First, the visual design elements did not influence the provocation of vandalism. Second, the content of the political slogan had the most negative influence. This study is significant because it examines the influence of visual design elements on the election campaign posters. This study is hoped to help future research and to contribute to the development of more influential delivery of visual political messages.

The statistical graphics is a design field focusing on the user perception aspects for the correct information delivery and the effective understanding, with the use of the quantitative data through the information analysis, extraction, visualization process. The statistical graphics with the big data composition factor is termed as the statistical big data graphics. In the statistical graphics the visual factors are used to reduce the errors in the perception part and to successfully deliver the information. However, in the statistical big data graphics the visual factors of the enormous data are causing the cognitive discouragements. The purpose of this study is to extract the cognitive discouragement factors from the big data statistical graphics, categorizing the types of the statistical big data graphics as 'network type', 'segment type', and 'mixed type', based on their compositional shapes, and explored the characteristics according to them. Especially, based on the visual main factors in the statistical big data graphics, We extracted the cognitive discouragement factors that appear in the high visualization as the four categories: 'multi-dimensional cases', 'various color', 'information overlap', and 'legibility of the writing'.

Darangyi paddy in Namhae Gachon village provides natural beauty with its distinct location. Darangyi is a traditional Korean landscape, shaping a circular form to serve continuous cultivation. Despite the paddy's landscape, it is difficult to preserve its natural scenery due to many factors such as inadequate visual analysis. Under the belief that there is a necessity to preserve Darangyi paddy, the research in visual features of the paddy began to illustrate the relevance between its viewpoint and landscape objects. First, we researched typical view structures. When considering the visual features, Darangyi paddy landscape objects has a viewpoint from the horizontality to its below, which its center area is about $-5^{\circ}{\sim}-30^{\circ}$. From the analyzed data, the scenary of Darangyi paddy, which most people agree its decency, is formed in a visually decent location. The above type of measure of visual structure in Darangyi paddy is expected to be applied in maintenance of foothold of views in the future. Second, the surrounding elements play important parts to form the whole landscape of Gachon Darangyi paddy. Although Darangyi paddy is the principal part of the scenary, the landscape analysis showed a high relevance with the paddy's identity, forest around the paddy, sky, ocean, settlements, and the roads in terms of visual perception. It was affirmed that those elements around the paddy play important parts in structuring and providing the beauty of the whole landscape. Various viewy objects are seen obvious especially in a long distance, and the splendid scenary proved that those viewy objects are in indispensable location. In order to preserve the paddy, it seems necessary to consider the surrounding envrionment of Darangyi paddy, not just the paddy's sole landscape form. Third, Darangyi paddy has a distinct seasonal characteristics. According to the survey analysis, the full heading time in spring and time when people can take a picture against the sun light proved magnificence of Darangyi paddy. Thus, it would be ideal to maintain Darangyi paddy by securing the sunlight condition with decent landscape view and the views from its surrounding environments or researching the ways to principally maintain the surrounding environments.

This study will research the possibility about the extension from aesthetic artwork of information visualization to performance area. In information visualization fields, the function of transmitting information is important factor. In addition, the relationship with the audience concerning immersion and interactivity is also significant. Therefore, if an artwork in information visualization can extend to a performance, this study proposes that it is necessary to consider what elements are needed to intensify sensorium for the audience in that artwork. In order to solve that question, this study introduces and analyzes the installation artworks by Ben Rubin and Mark hansen in 2001. From this case study, we suggest three elements-the performing self, the performing interface and the dramatic pattern-to amplify sensorium by hypermediacy for the audience. This research would contribute to the understanding aesthetic artworks based on information visualization in terms of performing arts.

이 연구는 정보 간의 관계에서 도출되는 특징을 적합하게 보여줄 수 있는 시각화를 위한 선행연구이다. 정보의 관계에 주목하는 이유는 관계 구조를 통해 정보의 성격과 특징을 파악할 수 있기 때문이다. 정보의 관계는 사회연결망 분석을 통해서 파악할 수 있다. 정보를 구성하는 개체와 개체 사이의 관계는 다양한 요소를 지니고 있으며, 연결망의 관계 분석 지표를 통해 관계의 성격과 특징을 도출해 낼 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 사회연결망에서 관계의 성격을 도출하는데 중요한 지표로 다뤄지는 영향력을 연구범위로 설정하고, 연결망 내의 관계의 요인과 영향력의 지표를 분류하고 연결한다. 이를 통해 사회연결망에서 영향력을 나타내는 관계의 요소를 중심으로 관계의 시각화 과정에 있어 적합한 시각화 프로세스를 온톨로지 개념을 사용하는 시멘틱 그래프에 적용해 보았다. 영향력의 각 관계 요소는 공통적인 개념과 성격, 측정 요소를 통하여 노드와 링크의 네트워크 형태의 그래프로 형성되었다. 영향력 시멘틱 그래프는 사회연결망의 영향력 요소를 이해하고, 분석하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 시멘틱 그래프의 적용 범위를 연결망 시각화 전반을 확장하여, 합리적이고 효율적인 시각화 프로세스의 설정이 가능함을 알 수 있다.
