Zhang yimou's film "the shadow" adopts a lot of modern literary symbolic content in the story structure. The novel has been greatly modified, abandoning the setting of the original work and making up the historical background of the story, thus completing the discourse practice of aerial literature rather than historical literature. The film expresses the historical story poetically and even writes the personal mind. In this way, the audience's sense of substitution is increased, and a large number of traditional Chinese cultural symbols are adopted visually. In terms of clothing, the most traditional is sought, which advocates loyalty to history, and adds cultural connotation and depth. The audience can feel the bold and unfettered artistic creation spirit of the main creator, as well as the novel and unique visual expression style, which makes his works have both traditional visual perception and modern story content. The combination of traditional vision and modern drama forms a new visual and cultural experience.

The English Landscape garden and picturesque aesthetics, which was in fashion during the 18th to early 19th century in England, has been accused of making people see the actual garden in terms of a static landscape painting without a synesthetic engagement in nature. As new optic devices such as diorama, panorama, photography, and cinematography were invented, ways of seeing nature transitioned from a perspective vision to a panoramic, that is, modern one. This study intends to uncover signs of this kind of modern vision in the picturesque aesthetics and visual representation of landscape gardener Humphry Repton. German garden theorist Christian Cay Lorenz Hirschfeld contended that the English landscape garden was a new style of designing landscape that followed the principle of the serpentine line, which produced movement in sightlines; thus, he considered garden art as a superior art form among all other genres. The signs of visual motion appear in Repton's sketches of "Red Books". Firstly, he designed systemic routes in his clients' properties by considering different types of movements between walks and drives. Secondly, he often used the visual effects of panoramic views for his sketches in order to allow his clients to experience the human visual field. Lastly, he constructed sequences of sketches in order to provide his clients with an illusion of movement; in other words, Repton's sketches functioned as potential visual media to produce the duration of time in a visual experience. Thus, the garden aesthetics of the time reflected the contemporary visual culture, that is to say, a panoramic vision pertaining to visual motion.

In this paper, we analyze semantics on mudras of Sahasra-bhuja Avalokitesvara and implement visual content as its application. The mudras are described in the Odaejineunjib that is a tangible cultural property. The semantics analysis on the mudras are essential for understanding the meaning of the 42 Hands(mudras) that present symbolic difference of hands holding on various items. So, in this paper, we analyze the semantics on the 42 Hands according to 5 parts which are basic classification of Honored Ones on Esoteric Buddhism. We implemented a visual contents showing Avalokitesvara according to semantics on the 42 Hands. And, in the process, we are able to provide the public with easy accessibility on mudras of Sahasra-bhuja Avalokitesvara. Applications of the mudras are as follows; game contents, traditional cultural contents, etc.

전시 중심의 단기적 활용을 벗어나 일종의 문화유산으로 시각예술 아카이브를 관리하려는 움직임이 국가단위 또는 주요 기관간 컨소시엄의 형태로 활발히 진행 중인 해외 문화선진국의 사례와는 달리 국내 시각예술계는 아카이브 기반 전시나 프로젝트의 인기를 넘어서지 못하는 단편적 접근방식으로 아직 국가차원의 종합적인 비전이나 장기적인 전략을 창출해내지 못하고 있는 것이 우리의 현실이다. 국내 디지털 인프라의 선진성에 의지한 공공기관 주도 디지털 아카이브 사업에 대한 낙관적 전망도 몇몇 기관의 디지털 아카이브 구축 및 운영 경험을 통해 그 불투명성 및 위험성이 노출된 바 있다. 새 정부 출범 이후 국가정책을 지배하고 있는 창조경제 화두를 관통하는 핵심 키워드 중의 하나로서 시각예술 콘텐츠 자산의 근간인 국내 시각예술 아카이브의 경쟁력은 전면적으로 검토될 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of creating barrier-free exhibition-appreciation environment based on the visually impaired person's perspectives. Participants were selected by the purposeful sampling method. Researchers conducted a couple of in-depth interviews with four visually impaired persons. Yin's case study method was employed to analyze qualitative information. The analysis revealed nine sub-themes in two sections: three from 'accessibility within the exhibition room'; and six from 'demand for immersive exhibition environment.' Based on the results, following suggestions were presented: First, we need to provide quality information appropriate for artworks-appreciation; secondly, to ensure the visually impaired people to appreciate the culture and arts without any barrier, we need to extend certification of barrier-free living environment to exhibition-appreciation area. Finally, to facilitate these two tasks we need to encourage the convergence research among science and technology, humanities and society, and culture and arts.

The purpose of this study was to propose information services for people with disabilities in the culture and art complex. As a research method, group interviews were conducted. Data were collected from three different groups of people with physical disabilities, hearing impairments, and visual impairments in order to investigate specific information services for these groups of people. The results of the information services needed were indicated, based on four sections: the center web pages, information desk, orientation area, and information search area. Specifically, the results showed that more active supports would be provided at the information desks for people with hearing impairments and visual impairments as well as facilities for people with physical disabilities. In the orientation area, special equipment would be provided for people with hearing impairments and visual impairments, and exclusive seats for wheelchair users. For further studies, a detailed research about the information behavior for visitors with disabilities in the culture and art complex would be needed.

The purpose of this study is to determine the evaluation of affected visual landscape of Taereung National Training Center to Taereung and Gangneung UNESCO World heritages, South Korea. For this research, it used to offer the affected visual landscape rate and 3D simulation with Sketch up 8.0. This study conducted over 4 steps. Step 1, view points are selected with literature review and interview. Step 2, with Sketch up created 3D modelling and calculated the affected rate on the landscape. Step 3 individual buildings were mapped with the affected rate. Lastly, step 4 were identified the results through field research. From this results, the visual landscape of Taereung and Gangneung that are damaged by the Taereung National Training Center did not appear higher than initially expected. The entrance area on Gangneung, however, where is affected from Oryungwan, Korea Sports Institute, Philseung Gym needs to establish a way to improve that landscape impact. In case of Taereung, it did not appear damaged due to the hiding effect of the forest. By field survey to confirm those results, it shows seasonal differences. In the case of the summer and autumn derive similar results with 3D simulation but were exposed buildings in the winter and spring. It means when the simulation based on the summer and fall operates, it may not reflect the affected landscape of certain times such as winter and spring. This study has significance as a basic research to co-exist between the traditional heritage and modern heritage.

This study seeks to explore the method of imagination through creative new thinking in cultural heritage education and the most effective model of education in education. Research methods were organized by the methods of reviewing literature, browsing the Internet, and comparative analysis of prior research. We hope to realize the need for differentiated Korean cultural heritage and make efforts to incorporate our identity in the design. In the process of visualizing information, the focus should be on identifying the structure, characteristics, and the correlation between pattern and trend analysis, and the heterogeneity analysis, and should be made with the characteristics considered. Texting, graphics, sound, animation, lighting, and Navigation are often used as the expressive elements of information visualization for educational models. To facilitate the understanding of learners, accurate information transmission visuals should be presented. To do so, the use of infographic can be the answer. It is necessary to develop appropriate multimedia visual data, such as the use of infographic to be applied, and to develop various infographic multimedia visuals. These work should not be merely a research dimension, but should be carried out with the aim of helping develop actual cultural heritage educational content.

The article is based on the research of the he culture and has discussed the prospect and possibility of application of cultural element "He" in modern design through analyzing the Beijing Olympics'cultural element "He" from its Chinese character's changing forms to its connotation; and the application of the element "He" in traditional design as geometrical figures, homophonic usage, and some legends on it.
