NFT Utilization Method in e-Sports

  • In this paper, based on the generalization and popularization of NFT, the utilization idea of using NFT in e-sports was proposed. We considered ways to utilize NFTs to make access to e-sports easy for all users and to secure users from various age groups. To this end, cases of NFTs with diversity in e-sports platforms were analyzed by type, and the degree of use of NFTs in e-sports was identified through a survey. As a result of the study, it was found that the NFT experience in the e-sports game was highly satisfactory and the desire to experience it again was strong. As NFTs have ownership and scarcity as important characteristics, they can respond well to the demand for owning unique items in e-sports. In addition, in marketing, by promoting limited edition products with scarcity, it is possible to promote marketing that creates value with high profitability. When using NFT in e-sports, various NFT functions are combined regardless of the type of sport, so NFT can become an economic infrastructure.

  • 200년 여름. 우리들은 월드컵을 통해서 하나가 되었고 그 안에서 감동을 느꼈다. 특히 우리나라의 4강신화는 세계 속에 대한민국이란 브랜드를 확실하게 각인시키며 엄청난 홍보 효과를 가져다 줬다. 4년이 지난 지금 우리는 세계적인 축제이자 모든 축구선수들의 희망인 또 한번의 월드컵을 애타게 기다리고 있다. 4년전의 기쁨과 감격을 다시 누릴 수 있게 되길 기원하면서 말이다. 그래서 일까, 유저들의 니즈를 파악한 게임업체들은 월드컵 특수를 노리며 앞다퉈 축구게임을 출시하고 있다. 축구란 대중성을 가진 스포츠를 게임으로 구현, 분위기까지 잘 맞물리게 한다면 기대 이상의 성과를 얻을 수 있기 때문이다.

A Study on the Psychological Characteristics of Esports Athletes in Korea (국내 이스포츠 선수들의 정서, 대인관계, 수면 특성에 대한 실태 조사: 프로 선수와 육성군 선수를 중심으로)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the psychological characteristics of Korean esports athletes. We investigated the psychological characteristics of 40 professional esports players and 72 amateur esports players, a total of 112 esports players. Specifically, we investigated the differences in emotional well-being, interpersonal relationships, and sleep between professional players and trainee players. Professional esports athletes showed higher responsiveness to social conflict and more interpersonal non-acceptance compared to the trainees. Results also indicated high levels of insomnia severity. Based on the results, the need for psychological intervention and sleep intervention for athletes were discussed.

  • Currently, Many serious games which combine original purpose of each fields with fun of a game has been developing in the country, abroad. This paper describes problems of development of serious game which based on the paper, analyzed development status of serious games in the country and abroad, proposes development methods. This paper should help to growth serious games industry.

  • In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in tangible sports simulators with the success of golf simulator. The main purpose of this study is to develop a tangible snowboard simulator for the beginner using virtual reality technology. This paper proposes an interactive virtual coach and high fidelity virtual environment for snowboard training. The virtual coach offers an intuitive guidance and personalized coaching feedback about the 5 fundamental riding skills. The virtual training environment uses the stereoscopic display system and motion platform to create more realistic training situation. We expect virtual reality will be used as a training aids in many sports such as taekwondo, baseball, archery and so on.

  • 체감형 스크린 골프 게임에 사용될 인터페이스로 골프 공의 궤적과 속도를 실시간으로 표시하고 분석하는 시뮬레이터를 설계하고 골프 스윙 센서 장비를 적용하여 실시간 게임을 구현하였다. 특히 레저 스포츠 게임은 게임을 즐기면서 몸으로 느낄 수 있는 체감형 게임기에 적합한 게임 콘텐츠로 게이머에게 몰입감을 주기 위한 고급 3 차원 그래픽 기술과 가상현실 기술등과 같은 최첨단 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 몰입감과 현실감을 최대한 살리기 위해서는 물리의 법칙과 가상 현실 장비와의 연동이 필수이다. 본 논문은 체감형 스크린 골프의 시스템을 구성하고 게임을 위한 시뮬레이터의 설계와 레이아웃 설계, 공의 속도와 궤적 표시 방법, 골프공의 충격량을 계산하고, 체감형 가상 장비를 연동하였다.

  • Recently, public interest in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) has increased. Therefore, computer graphics-related research has been actively conducted. This has included research on virtual space related to human posture implementation. However, such research has focused on general posture in humans. This paper presents a system with reference to the basic posture in sports climbing and the inverse kinematics method for generating the positions and behavior of virtual characteristics in a three-dimensional virtual space. The simulation based on the inverse kinematics method, produced with an inverse kinematics solver and initial pose animation from motion capture, provides realistic and natural movement. We designed a simulation system to generate correct posture and motions similar to those in sports climbing by applying the basic procedure of sports climbing. The simulation system provides help for producing content about sports climbing, such as learning programs for novice climbers and sports climbing games.

  • The purpose of this study is to revitalize rehabilitation treatment for people with physical disabilities by presenting a convergence plan between e-sports and rehabilitation exercises using AI-based metaverse. Metaverse-based e-sportscan be useful in providing sports experiences to people with physical disabilities who are unable to participate in society, and this also allows individuals with disabilities to experience sports that are difficult to actually experience. The use of metaverse will enable effective rehabilitation exercise links in vulnerable communities such as hospitals and farming and fishing villages, and provide integrated services of medical and rehabilitation movements that allow exercise data to be managed in an integrated manner. To this end, interdisciplinary experts should participate in the convergence development of e-sports and rehabilitation exercise.
