Experimental Structural Performance Evaluation of Precast-Buckling Restrained Brace Reinforced With Engineering Plastics (공업용 플라스틱으로 보강된 비좌굴가새의 실험적 구조성능평가)

  • In this study, the Buckling restrained braces reinforced with engineering plastics that can compensate for the disadvantages in the manufacturing process of the existing buckling restrained brace. The proposed PC-BRB was fabricated to evaluate the reinforcement effect by carrying out a structural performance test and a full-scale two-layer frame test through cyclic loading test. As a result of PC-BRB's incremental and cyclic loading test, stable hysteresis behavior was achieved within the target displacement, and the compressive strength adjustment coefficient satisfied the recommendation. As a result of the real frame experiment, the strength of the reinforced specimen increased compared to the unreinforced specimen, and the ductility and energy dissipation increased.

  • 눈은 자외선과 가시광선에 노출되어 있다. 눈은 자외선 노출에 해로우므로 모든 자외선으로부터 눈을 보호해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 자외선 차단을 위해 투명 플라스틱에 유-무기 하이브리드 재료와 자외선 흡수제의 배합에 의한 자외선 차단 코팅하였고, PMMA, CR 39 및 PC기재에 적용하여 자외선 차단 효과를 조사하였다. 자외선 흡수제의 양이 증가할수록 자외선의 투과도는 낮았다. PMMA의 경우 자외선 투과도를 현저히 감소시켰으며 CR 39에서도 자외선 차단 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, PC자체에서는 자외선 차단효과가 있는 것으로 평가되었다. CR 39 렌즈의 부착력, 내약품성, 내온수성은 우수하였고, 연필 경도의 경우 4H였으며 내마모성은 좋지 않았다.

  • 리그 오브 레전드, 히어로즈 오브 더 스톰 등으로 대변되는 다자 온라인 전투 게임(MOBA)은 PC 버전에서 우리 게이머가 아주 많이 플레이하는 장르이다. 본 논문은 이 장르의 모바일 버전인 2017년작 펜타스톰의 사용자 인터페이스를 PC 버전의 인터페이스와 물리적 구조 및 기능성에 대해 비교 분석하고 코호넨의 휴리스틱에 기초한 사용자 인터페이스의 조작 편의성에 집중한 설문 조사를 통해 펜타스톰 사용자 인터페이스의 만족도와 개선 방향을 살펴보았다. 4점 척도로 적극적 평가를 요구한 8개의 설문에서 펜타스톰 사용자 인터페이스는 5개 부문에서 80% 이상의 긍정률을 보였지만 아이템 구매 관련은 호불호가 갈렸고 캐릭터 동선과 상대 지정 부분은 상대적으로 낮은 긍정률을 보여 개선의 필요성을 나타냈다.

  • Recently, Virtual reality parts is applied in various fields of industry. In this paper we got under control motion of reality robot from interface manipulation in the virtual world. This paper created virtual robot using of 3D Graphic Tool. And we reappeared a similar image with reality robot put on texture the use of components of Direct 3D Graphic. Also a reality robot and a virtual robot is controlled by joystick. The developed robot consists of robot controller with vision system and host PC program. The robot and camera can move with 2 degree of freedom by independent remote controlling a user friendly designed joystick. An environment is recognized by the vision system and ultra sonic sensors. The visual mage and command data translated through 900MHz and 447MHz RF controller, respectively. If user send robot control command the use of simulator to control the reality robot, the transmitter/recever got under control until 500miter outdoor at the rate of 4800bps a second in Hlaf Duplex method via radio frequency module useing 447MHz frequency.

Risk of Smoke Occurring in the Combustion of Plastics (플라스틱의 연소 시 발생하는 연기 위험성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the combustibility of five types of plastic plates, fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), polypropylene (PP), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), were tested using a cone calorimeter (ISO 5660). The PVC plate showed a $44.65kW/m^2$ lower peak heat release rate (HRR) and a $30.97kW/m^2$ lower maximum average rate of heat emission than the other four types of plastics, whereas the PS plate showed a $773.44kW/m^2$ higher peak HRR and $399.14kW/m^2$ higher maximum average rate of heat emission. The PC plate and PS plate showed the highest HRR by a maximum of 3.88 times in $CO_{mean}$ yields, while the PS pate and PP plate showed the highest HRR by a maximum 4.88 times in $CO_{2mean}$ yields. In addition, the smoke performance index (SPI) of the PS plate decreased by 74.81%~95.99%; the smoke growth index (SGI) increased to 76%~300%; the smoke intensity (SI) also increased to 917.73% ~ 9607.57%, and the danger of smoke increased. The PS plate was found to have the highest risk of life damage due to smoke on the thermal and smoke sides.

An Addition-Chain Heuristics and Two Modular Multiplication Algorithms for Fast Modular Exponentiation (모듈라 멱승 연산의 빠른 수행을 위한 덧셈사슬 휴리스틱과 모듈라 곱셈 알고리즘들)

  • A modular exponentiation( E$M^{$=varepsilon$}$mod N) is one of the most important operations in Public-key cryptography. However, it takes much time because the modular exponentiation deals with very large operands as 512-bit integers. Modular exponentiation is composed of repetition of modular multiplications, and the number of repetition is the same as the length of the addition-chain of the exponent(E). Therefore, we can reduce the execution time of modular exponentiation by finding shorter addition-chain(i.e. reducing the number of repetitions) or by reducing the execution time of each modular multiplication. In this paper, we propose an addition-chain heuristics and two fast modular multiplication algorithms. Of two modular multiplication algorithms, one is for modular multiplication between different integers, and the other is for modular squaring. The proposed addition-chain heuristics finds the shortest addition-chain among exisiting algorithms. Two proposed modular multiplication algorithms require single-precision multiplications fewer than 1/2 times of those required for previous algorithms. Implementing on PC, proposed algorithms reduce execution times by 30-50% compared with the Montgomery algorithm, which is the best among previous algorithms.

  • PC (polycarbonate) is one of the widely used engineering plastics. Polycarbonate (PC) is traditionally produced by the reaction of phosgene and bisphenol-A. This phosgene process has the disadvantage as the high toxicity and corrosiveness of phosgene. The main point of focus to overcome the disadvantage of phosgene based process has been a route through dimethyl carbonate (DMC) to diphenyl carbonate (DPC). In this paper, for the DPC synthesis reaction using PBO as a catalyst, the effect of reaction temperature, reactant ratio, catalyst concentration on the reaction yield was investigated. A kinetic model for the DPC synthesis reaction was proposed and kinetic parameters for the proposed model was determined from batch reactor experiments. The predicted results by the proposed model were in good agreement with the experimental results.

  • In this paper, we develop a vibration system which can generate diverse vibration effects in realtime by analyzing signals from the sound output of PC. This system is able to detect the occurrences of particular sounds in order to generate corresponding pre-programmed vibration patterns. It contributes to the improvement of the reality and the immersiveness of games and virtual reality applications. In addition, its advantage is to easily add vibration features to applications which were originally developed without consideration for vibration. Our system consists of an external DSP board for signal processing and a vibration pad which can be put on wrists. It is superior to other sound-driven vibration devices because its DSP board can detect more diverse sounds, has higher performance and does not interfere with PC. Also the wrist-wearable vibration pad is able to generate more realistic vibration than other mouse or joystick type devices.

  • Mobile shooting games are a representative example of PC games being transferred as they are. In the most mobile shooting games, joystick-like UI used in PC games have been moved to touch buttons, but the display is small, so the user's fingers cover the game screen, which is inconvenient. In mobile shooting games, in order to overcome the limitations of the small display and increase the immersion of the game, this paper introduces a user interface that integrates character movement and aiming, and intuitive UIs such as display rotation, shaking, and vibration. In addition, by analyzing the match process for each round, the character's insufficient abilities are identified and synergies to supplement the abilities are recommended in order to add fun to the game. This paper proved that the proposed goals are achieved by actually designing and implementing a mobile shooting game with the proposed functions on an Android smartphone.

  • Mammography improves image quality that is on the increase day by day and get a picture with the pressure it is essential to reduce the dose. However, because due to the thickness of the cuff itself may increase the dose scattering lines is necessary study on the cuff material. Material that is currently being used in clinical Polycarbonate is a plastic and family. If you try to reduce the exposure of patients than itgie need to consider for the better material in this study to compare against a radiolucent line for amorphous plastic material of the plastic. results radiolucent and half layer, transmitting dose Pixel values HIPS, GPPS, ABS, Tritan, PC, PMMA showed high results in the net.
