In MANET(mobile ad hoc network), Mobility models vary according to the application-specific goals. The most widely used Random WayPoint Mobility Model(RWPMM) is advantageous because it is simple and easy to implement, but the random characteristic of nodes' movement is not enough to express the mobile characteristics of the entire sensor nodes' movements. The random mobility model is insufficient to express the inherent movement characteristics of the entire sensor nodes' movements. In the proposed Stochastic mobility model, To express the overall nodes movement characteristics of the network, the moving nodes are treated as random variables having a specific probability distribution characteristic. The proposed Stochastic mobility model is more stable and energy-efficient than the existing random mobility model applies to the routing protocol to ensure improved performances in terms of energy efficiency.

In this study, isothermal (350, 375, 400, 425, 450, 500, $850^{\circ}C$) experiments were carried out using a custom-made thermobalance to analyze the thermal decomposition properties of refuse plastic fuel (RPF), which is to be used as a cofiring fuel with a sub-bituminous coal at commercial circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler in Korea. In isothermal pyrolysis results, no change in the reaction model was observed in the temperature range of $375{\sim}450^{\circ}C$ and it was revealed that the first order chemical reaction (F1) is the most suitable among 12 reaction models. The activation energy shows similar results irrespective of application of reaction model in that the activation energy was 39.44 kcal/mol and 36.96 kcal/mol when using Arrhenius equation and iso-conversional method ($0.5{\leq}X{\leq}0.9$) respectively. Mean-while, the devolatilization time ($t_{dev}$) according to particle size (d) of RPF could be expressed as $t_{dev}=10.38d^{2.88}$ at $850^{\circ}C$, operation temperature of CFB and for even distribution and oxidation of RPF in CFB boiler, we found that the relationship of average dispersion distance (x) and particle size was $x{\leq}1.58d^{1.44}$.

The present simulation model relies on a new approach of the heavy particle motion in a turbulent flow considering the time and space correlation to the Lagrangian point of view. The turbulent field is, here, assumed that its characteristic scales are random and follow a Poisson's distribution. Using this model, we have computed the trajectory of each particle, that is, its velocity and position at each time in order to study the dispersion of particles in a grid turbulent flow. The computed results have been compared to the corresponding experimental data. Due to the complex mechanism of turbulence and the theoretically and experimentally lacking information, we had to make some assumptions for simplifying the situation, but we have found the good agreement between simulated and measured results. In particular, the application of the present method on the Lagrangian correlation of particle provides an interesting alternative to the usual computational methods.

In this paper an approach to building fuzzy model to predict daily open, close, high, and low stock prices is presented. One of prior problems in building a stock prediction model is to select most effective indicators for the stock prediction. The problem is overcome by the selection of information used in the analysis of stick-chart as the input variables of our fuzzy model. The fuzzy rules have the premise and the consequent, in which they are composed of trapezoidal membership functions, and nonlinear equations, respectively. DE(Differential Evolution) searches optimal fuzzy rules through an evolutionary process. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach numerical example is considered. The fuzzy models to predict open, high, low, and close prices of KOSPI(KOrea composite Stock Price Index) on a daily basis are built, and their performances are demonstrated and compared with those of neural network.

In this paper an approach to building fuzzy models for predicting daily and weekly stock prices is presented. Predicting stock prices with traditional time series analysis has proven to be difficult. Fuzzy logic based models have advantage of expressing the input-output relation linguistically, which facilitates the understanding of the system behavior. In building a stock prediction model we bear a burden of selecting most effective indicators for the stock prediction. In this paper information used in traditional candle stick-chart analysis is considered as input variables of our fuzzy models. The fuzzy rules have the premises and the consequents composed of trapezoidal membership functions and nonlinear equations, respectively. DE(Differential Evolution) identifies optimal fuzzy rules through an evolutionary process. The fuzzy models to predict daily and weekly open, high, low, and close prices of KOSPI(KOrea composite Stock Price Index) are built, and their performances are demonstrated.

At the modern industry, the composite material has been widely used. Particularly, the material of carbon fiber reinforced plastic hardened with resin on the basis of fiber is excellent. As the specific strength and rigidity are also superior, it receives attention as the light material. Among these materials, the carbon fiber reinforced plastic using carbon fiber has the superior mechanical property different from another fiber. So, it is utilized in vehicle and airplane at which high strength and light weight are needed at the same time. In this paper, the tensile property due to the fiber design is investigated through the analysis study with CT specimen composed of carbon plastic reinforced plastic. At the stress analysis of CFRP composite material with hole, the fracture trend at the tensile environment is examined. Also, it is shown that the lowest stress value happens and the deformation energy of the pre-crack becomes lowest at the analysis model composed of the stacking angle of 60° through the result due to the stacking angle. On the basis of this study result, it is thought to apply the foundation data to anticipate the fracture configuration at the structure applied with the practical experiment.

In this paper, a model-based stick-slip compensation for the micro-positioning is proposed using an enhanced stick-slip model based on statistical rough surface contact model. The smart structure is comprised with PZT (lead (Pb) zirconia (Zr) Titanate (Ti)) based stack actuator incorporating with the PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control algorithm, mechanical displacement amplifier and positioning devices. For the stick-slip compensation, the elastic-plastic static friction model is used considering the elastic-plastic asperity contact in the rough surfaces statistically. Mathematical model of system for the positioning apparatus was derived from the dynamic behaviors of structural parts. PID feedback control algorithms with the developed stick-slip model as well as feedforward friction compensator are formulated for achieving the accurate positioning performance. Experimental results are provided to show the performances of friction control using the developed positioning apparatus.

In this paper, Time Delay Control(TDC) for robot manipulators is analyzed and its problems are founded. In order to remedy the problems, the enhanced controller is proposed and analyzed. The effect of friction associated with TDC is reported and its cause is presented. Through the analysis, simulation and experiment, it is shown that the friction effect causes serious degradation in control performance and that it is a result of the error of Time Delay Estimation(TDE) in TDC. In order to remedy the problems, TDC combined with Internal Model Control(IMC) concept is proposed. The proposed compensator is effective enough to handle the bad effect of friction, and is so simple and efficient as to match positive attribute of TDC. The simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of proposed controller against the friction of the robot manipulators.
