Sequential Pattern Mining for Customer Retention in Insurance Industry (보험 고객의 유지를 위한 순차 패턴 마이닝)

  • Customer retention is one of the major issued in life insurance industry, in which competition is increasingly fierce. There are many things to do to retain customers. One of those things is to be continuously in touch with all customers. The objective of this study is to design the contact scheduling system(CSS) to support the planers who must touch the customers without having subjective information. Support-planers suffer from lack of information which can be used to intimately touch. CSS that is developed in this study generates contact schedule to touch customers by taking into account existing contact history. CSS has a two stage process. In the first stage, it segments customers according to his or her demographics and contract status data. Then it finds typical pattern and pattern is combined to business rules for each segment. We expert that CSS would support support-planers to make uncontacted customers' experience positive.

  • The two-way synchronization system in mobile environment processes synchronization of multi clients by order. In this case, that a synchronization operation, which takes long time to process, makes other clients wait is a problem. In this paper, treats to design and materialize a system which processes synchronization operations between clients without update conflicts as using multi queues. Also, compares performance between the simultaneous synchronization and the synchronization in consecutive order by the rate of process term of synchronization operation and the pattern of operation process.

  • Retrieving temporal information of encoded events is one of the core control processes in episodic memory. Despite much prior neuroimaging research on episodic retrieval, little is known about how large-scale connectivity patterns are involved in the retrieval of sequentially organized episodes. Task-related functional connectivity multivariate pattern analysis was used to distinguish the different sequential retrieval. In this study, participants performed temporal episodic memory tasks in which they were required to retrieve the encoded items in either the forward or backward direction. While separately parsed local networks did not yield substantial efficiency in classification performance, the large-scale patterns of interactivity across the cortical and sub-cortical brain regions implicated in both the cognitive control of memory and goal-directed cognitive processes encompassing lateral and medial prefrontal regions, inferior parietal lobules, middle temporal gyrus, and caudate yielded high discriminative power in classification of temporal retrieval processes. These findings demonstrate that mnemonic control processes across cortical and subcortical regions are recruited to re-experience temporally-linked series of memoranda in episodic memory and are mirrored in the qualitatively distinct global network patterns of functional connectivity.

Construct of Fuzzy Inference Network based on the Neural Logic Network (신경 논리 망을 기반으로 한 퍼지 추론 망 구성)

  • Fuzzy logic ignores some information in the reasoning process. Neural network is powerful tools for the pattern processing, but, not appropriate for the logical reasoning. To model human knowledge, besides pattern processing capability, the logical reasoning capability is equally important. Another new neural network called neural logic network is able to do the logical reasoning. Because the fuzzy inference is a fuzzy logical reasoning, we construct fuzzy inference network based on the neural logic network, extending the existing rule-inference network. And the traditional propagation rule is modified. Experiments are performed to compare search costs by sequential searching and searching by priority. The experimental results show that the searching by priority is more efficient than the sequential searching as the size of the fuzzy inference network becomes larder and an the number of searching increases.

  • In this paper, we propose a modeling method for the flip-flops and test generation algorithms to detect the faults in the sequential circuits using VHDL in the high-level design environment. RS, JK, D and T flip-flops are modeled using data flow types. The sequence of micro-operation which is the basic structure of a chip-level leads to a control point where varnishing occurs to one of two micro- operation sequence. In order to model the fault of one micro-operation(FMOP) that perturb another micro-operation effectively, the concept of goal trees and some heuristic rules are used. Given a faulty FMOP or fault of control point (FCON), a test pattern is generated by fault sensitization, path sensitization and determination of the imput combinations that will justify the path sensitization. The fault models are restricted to the data flow model in the ARCHITECTURE statement of VHDL. The proposed algorithm is implemented in the C language and its efficiency is confirmed by some examples.

  • In this paper, 16word X 8bit Content Addressable and Reentrant Memory(CARM) is described. This device has 4 operation modes(read, write, match, reentrant). The read and write operation of CARM is like that of static RAM, CARM has the reentrant mode operation where the on chip garbage collection is accomplished conditionally. Thus function can be used for high speed matching unit of dynamic data flow computer. And CARM also can encode matching address sequentially according to therir priority. CARM consists of 8 blocks(CAM cell, Sequential Address Encoder(S.A.E). Reentrant operation. Read/Write control circuit, Data/Mask Register, Sense Amplifier, Encoder. Decoder). Designed DARM can be used in data flow computer, pattern, inspection, table look-up, image processing. The simulation is performed using the QUICKSIM logic simulator and Pspice circuit simulator. Having hierarchical structure, the layout was done using the 3{\;}\mu\textrm{m} n well CMOS technology of the ETRI design rule.

  • Increasing interest and technological advances in smart home has led to active research on context-awareness service and prediction algorithms such as Bayesian Networks, Tree-Dimensional Structures and Genetic prediction algorithms. Context-awareness service presents that providing automatic customized service regarding individual user's pattern surely helps users improve the quality of life. However, it is difficult to implement context-awareness service because the problems are that handling coincidence with context information and exceptional cases have to consider. To overcome this problem, we proposes an Intelligent Sequential Matching Algorithm(ISMA), models context-awareness service using Timed Petri-net(TPN) which is petri-net to have time factor. The example scenario illustrates the effectiveness of the Timed Petri-net model and our proposed algorithm improves average 4~6% than traditional in the accuracy and reliability of prediction.

  • IT 산업 및 반도체 산업이 발전함에 따라 초소형, 고집적화 시스템의 요구에 대응하기 위해서 고해상도 및 고정밀의 패턴 구현에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 연구는 각종 산업제품의 PCB(Printed Circuit Board) 및 디스플레이 장치인 PDP(Plasma Display Panel), LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) 등에 적용되어 널리 응용되고 있다. 현재 널리 사용되는 인쇄 회로 기판은 마스킹 후 선택적 에칭 방식을 적용하여 금속 배선을 형성하는 방식을 적용하고 있다. 이러한 방식은 설계가 변경될 경우 마스크를 다시 제작해야 하는 번거로움이 있어 설계 변경이 용이하지 않고 더욱 길어진 생산시간의 증가로 인하여 생산성 및 집적도가 떨어지게 된다. 따라서 최근에는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안이 여러 가지 측면에서 시도되고 있으며, 그 중에서도 Inkjet Printing 기술에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Inkjet Printing 방식을 적용하여 금속 배선을 형성하고 선폭과 두께의 오차를 줄여 배선의 Tolerance 를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. Inkjet Printing 방식을 이용한 기존의 금속 배선 형성은 고해상도의 DPI(Dot Per Inch)에서 잉크 액적이 뭉치는 Bulge 현상이 발생되어 원하는 형상 및 배선의 폭을 구현하는데 어려움이 있었다. Bulge 현상은 배선의 불균일성을 야기할 뿐만 아니라 근접한 배선의 간섭에도 영향을 미처 금속 배선의 기능을 할 수 없는 단점을 발생시킨다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 Bulge 현상을 줄이고 배선간의 간섭을 방지하여 원하는 배선을 용이하게 형성할 수 있는 순차적 인쇄 방식을 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 노즐직경 35um 의 Inkjet Head 와 나노 Ag 입자 잉크를 사용하여 Glass 표면 위에 배선을 형성하고 배선의 폭과 두께를 측정하였다. 또한 순차적 인쇄 방식을 적용하여 700DPI 이상의 고해상도에서 나타날 수 있는 Bulge 현상이 감소하였음을 관찰하였으며 금속 배선의 Tolerance를 10%내외로 유지할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 최근 기후변화로 인해 대류성 집중호우가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 이러한 강우 특성은 산지지역에 위치한 소하천유역에 상당한 피해를 야기한다. 대류성 집중호우는 규모가 작고 속도가 빠르기 때문에 중규모 이상의 유역에서 부분적으로 상이한 강우특성을 보인다. 아울러 이러한 호우패턴의 변화는 일시적인 현상이 아닌 하나의 기상 특성으로 자리를 잡아가고 있기 때문에 이에 대한 대책마련이 더욱 필요한 실정이다. 돌발홍수 예경보시스템에 예측강우 자료는 예측 선행시간의 한계를 가진다. 즉, 예측강우 자료자체가 가지는 편의와 불확실성으로 인해 예측 선행시간이 3시간을 초과하면 신뢰도가 급격히 하락하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 우리나라에서는 지상관측치와의 편의를 보정하거나 예측강우자료 자체의 품질을 개선하려는 노력을 지속하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 예측 선행시간을 확장하고자 순차적으로 생산되는 예측강우를 가중평균하여 앙상블 예측치를 모의하는 기법을 개발하였다. 각 선행시간별 예측강우자료를 앙상블 멤버로 인식하여 이들의 공분산 구조를 파악하고, 분산과 공분산 수치를 이용하여 가중치를 결정하였다. 1, 2, 3시간 예측 선행시간에 대한 확장 가능성을 확인하고자 하였고, 최적의 앙상블 멤버 개수를 결정하여 적용 및 평가하였다. 본 연구에서는 2016년과 2017년에 발생한 주요 호우사상을 선정하고, 우리나라 전역에 걸쳐 예측강우 앙상블 생성 방법론을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 가중평균 앙상블의 예측치가 예측강우장 1개, 단순평균 앙상블 예측치에 비해 좋은 품질의 예측 성능을 보였으며, 예측치의 분산 또한 감소하여 예측에 대한 불확실성이 줄어듦을 확인하였다.

Petrological Evolution of the Saryangdo Tuff in Western Tongyeong (통영 서부 사량도응회암의 암석학적 진화)

  • The volcanic rocks in Saryangdo area are composed of Witseom Andesite, Punghwari Tuff, Araetseom Andesite, Obido Formation, Namsan Rhyolite and Saryangdo Tuff in ascending order. The volcanic rocks has a range of andesite-rhyodacite-rhyolite, which indicates calc-alkaline series and volcanic arc of orogenic belt. In Harker diagrams for trace element and REE pattern, these are also distinguished into so three groups(Witseom Andesite, Araetseom Andesite and Saryangdo Tuff) that each unit is interpreted to have originated in different magma chamber. The Saryangdo Tuff exhibits systematically(chemical zonations that gradually change) from lower dacite to upper rhyolite in section. The systematic sequence of compositional variations suggests that the tuffs were formed by successive eruptions of upper to lower part of a zoned magma chamber in which relatively dacitic magma is surrounded around rhyolitic magma of the central part. The zoned magma chamber was formed from marginal accretion and crystal settling that resulted form magmatic differentiations by fractional crystallization.
