일본에서는 분뇨를 비료로서 오래동안 사용해왔으나 1954년 일본학술회의가 $\ulcorner$분뇨처리타개책$\lrcorner$을 정부에 권고하여 그해 $\ulcorner$청소법$\lrcorner$이 제정되고, 비료로서의 분뇨의 안전화$.$안정화를 도모해온 역사에 의하여 이들 일반폐기물로서 분뇨를 처리한다는 방향이 정해졌다 그리하여 수회에 결쳐 분뇨처리 시설의 구조기준이 정해졌는데 1977년에는 $\ulcorner$분뇨 처리시설구조지침$\lrcorner$이 나오게 되고 현재까지의 기술의 집대성이 등장하게 된 것이다. 이 지침에 나타나 있는 바는 다음과 같다. 1) 혐기성소화방식 2) 호기성처리방식 a. 호기성소화처리방식 b. 희석폭기처리방식 c. 일반활성오이처리방식 d. 이단활성오이처리방식 3) 무리화학적처리방식 습식산화처리방식 이들 중 혐기성소화방식은 악취때문에 환경에 나쁜 영향을 주는 경우가 많으므로 현재 그 건설수는 감소하고 있다. 습식산화방식은 한국에서 수개시설이 건설되어 있고 연구도 진행되고 있는 것으로 듣고 있다. 저자들은 호기성소화처리를 중심으로 한 호기성처리법의 연구를 1969년 이래 실시해왔는데, 최근의 시설은 호기성처리의 방식을 채택하는 경우가 주로 많아지고 있다. 따라서 호기성처리법에 대하여, 저자등의 연구를 중심으로 한 일본의 연구자의 성과를 소개하겠다.

In this thesis, girls' suicidal mentality which appears in some adolescent novels was sought. We can conclude like these: first, in the novel, Elegant Lies written by Ryeo-ryung Kim, the girl named Wha-yun leaves out Cheon-ji not to be left out alone by her companies. Wha-yun has succeeded in giving an ugly impression of Cheon-ji to the peer girls around her by exercising relational aggression. As a result, Cheon-ji sees herself as a meaningless being and after recognizing that she can't change the situation, she shows psychology of escape. Second, in the novel, Goodbye, from Kilimanjaro written by Ok-soo Lee, Sung-min Yoon's girlfriend Soo-hee born and grown in Africa lives with trauma from her mother's death. As her step-mother suppressed her not to keep in touch with the pet animals, Soo-hee got depressed and out of energy. Parental oppression and verbal violence can let the girl activates self-punishment and lead to suicide. Third, in the novel, Thursday, in Cyprus written by Chae-ran Park, girls could use suicide as a negotiation agenda. Adolescents could commit suicide even if their trivial requests are rejected. In these situations above we can read anticipation of compensation, retaliation and self-punishment mentality.

Four experiments were carried out under farmer's field conditions to determine economic threshold levels of major rice pests aad attempt a reduction in the number of insecticide applications. In the experiments were included check treatments, insecticide schedules representing the official recommendations to farmers, and several corrective treatments. A careful record was kept of insect pest densities and disease incidence. i) In the north at Suweon and Icheon where Chilo suppresalis. (Walk.), the striped rice borer, was active in the first generation, no significant yield differences were obtained between plots receiving several insecticide applications and those left totally unprotected. The mean yields were high (5.2-7.6t/ha). ii) First generation borer activity rising to $8.6\%$ injured tillers was below the economic threshold since no yield reduction was recorded in either japonica varieties or the high-yielding Tongil variety. iii) Evidence was obtained thst berer damage was made good by replacement of infested tillers (compensatory growth), C. suppressalis populations were always low in the second generation. iv) The experimental results obtained at Suweon and Icheon do not justify the present official recommendations of 6-7 pesticide applications. v) further south at Iri a substantial yield reduction occurred due to an early outbreak of stripe disease transmitted by Laodelphax striatellus (Fallen), the small brown planthopper; a mean of 1-2 individuals/hill was recorded immediately after transplanting. C. suppressalis probably contributed to this yield reduction. vi) Several applications against the vector failed to prevent the rapid spread of stripe to the susceptible variety in the Iri experiment: in surrounding fields the resistant Tonsil varivety was ralatively unaffected. vii) Pests of lesser importance were Nephotettix cinctieps (Uhler), Nilaparvata lugens (Stil), Sogatella furcifera (Horv..), and leaf miners.

최근 중 소규모의 도시개발, 택지개발, 유통단지, 산업단지, 주택단지 조성 등의 단지개발이 급속히 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 재해영향평가 및 사전재해영향성 검토도 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 단지개발은 보통 지구지정 또는 기본계획을 수립하여 개발계획 승인을 받고 실시설계를 통하여 실시계획을 승인을 받는 절차를 갖는다. 이에 효율적인 토지이용계획을 위하여 개발계획 승인전에 수십 회의 토지이용을 변경하고 또한 실시계획승인 전에도 토지이용계획은 수회의 변경을 통하여 이루어진다. 이에 재해영향평가 및 사전재해영향성검토를 초기단계에서 수행하는 실무자들은 토지이용계획의 빈번한 변경으로 인하여 저류지 규모 산정에 어려움을 가지고 있다. 단지개발의 토지이용계획 특성상 투수지역이 다소 있는 단지, 투수지역인 공원 녹지, 불투층인 도로 주차장으로 주로 구성된다는 공통점이 있다. 따라서 최근의 심의 완료된 재해영향평가보고서들을 인용, 각 단지개발의 토지이용계획도를 고려한 저류지 홍수조절용량을 산정하는 경험적이고 통계적인 다중회귀모형을 개발하였다. 금회 유도된 다중회귀모형식은 재해영향평가 및 사전재해영향성검토를 수행하는 실무자에게 행정계획단계뿐만 아니라 개발사업단계에서도 신속하게 저류지 규모를 개략 산정하고, 비전문가인 검토자가 신속히 홍수조절용량의 적정성을 검토하는데 매우 효과적으로 사용될 것으로 판단된다.

In this paper, we studied on the short-circuit process, surface structure, and component variation of vinyl cords. In the results of high speed imaging system (HSIS) analysis, as soon as wire covering was damaged by heat, the conductor of wire came in contact with the other conduct of wire, and the short-circuit occurred. Stereomicroscope and SEM analysis indicated that the source part of wire showed V-type form. The molten beads of load part were bigger than those of source part. In the results of EDX analysis, Cu and O were detected in the source part, whereas covering material (Cl, Ca), Cu and O were detected in the load part. The results will help us to find out the cause of electrical fire.

Previous buffer cache schemes for continuous media file system only exploited the sequentiality of continuous media accesses and didn't consider looping references. However, in some video applications like foreign language learning, users mark the scene as loop area and then application automatically playbacks the scene several times. In this paper, we propose a novel buffer cache scheme for continuous media file system that sequential and looping references exist together. Proposed scheme increases the cache hit ratio by detecting reference pattern of files and appling an appropriate replacement policy to each file.

In this paper, it was manufactured an interferometric optical fiber sensor and measured partial discharge acoustic signal caused by defect of power facilities such as power cables, transformers and gas insulation. Acrylic and aluminium mandrels wound with fiber-optic were chosen as optical fiber sensor, Sagnac and Mach-Zehnder interferometers were chosen to detect discharge acoustic signals. The two fiber optic interferometers were identified by using the PZT. Discharge experimentation set in the discharge imitation cell in oil tank and the discharge phenomena was generated. Based on the experimental result, to detect the discharge acoustic signal, Sagnac interferometer can detect stably the acoustic signal than the Mach-Zehnder interferometer. It is shown that Sagnac optical fiber sensor can detect the discharge acoustic signals effectively.

RWG MQW-LD has been made with our vertical LPE system from the optimal design condition for the RWG MQW-LD to be activated as weakly index-guided LD. Through several experiments we have established the growth condition which can be used through to grow the MQW-DH wafer and to control the thickness of MQW layer to ~200$\AA$. 4 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$-thickness of the ridge pattern has been formed through the photolithographic process on the MQW-DH wafer grown by the former condition, and then we have fabricated the RWG MQW-LD using it. From the result of measuring the electro-optical characteristics we can make sure that it can be lasing as lasing as laterally single mode at even more than $2.7I_{th}$.

Cultivation methods for clean soybean sprouts were investigated using irrigating solutions with grapefruit seed extract, chitosan and phosphate buffer. Chitosan and phosphate buffer did not inhibit the growth of soybean sprouts and increased the yield. Especially phosphate buffer was effective in yield increase and rot inhibition. As the times of irrigation with phosphate buffer increased, the yield of soybean sprouts increased up to 12.3% compared to that of the control. The high increase of yield and rot inhibition of soybean sprouts were detected even in $4{\sim}8$ times irrigation with phosphate buffer.

Previous buffer cache schemes for multimedia storage systems only exploited the sequential references of multimedia files and didn't consider looping references. However, in some video applications like foreign language learning, users mark the scene as loop area and then application automatically playbacks the scene several times. In this paper, we propose a new buffer replacement scheme, called HBM(Hybrid Buffer Management), for multimedia storage systems that have both sequential and looping references. Proposed scheme assumes that application layer informs reference pattern of files to file system. Then HBM applies an appropriate replacement policy to each file. Our simulation experiments show that HBM outperforms previous buffer cache schemes such as DISTANCE and LRU.
