This study was conducted to provide exportation strategy by surveying on preference of Japanese consumers on cut chrysanthemum exported. The survey was conducted two times by a local survey company in Japan, and the surveys were conducted largely on chrysanthemums for casual flowers and the altar. After departmentalizing Japanese consumers per groups the result were analyzed through conjoint and cluster methods, flower colors and shape were used relatively higher rate for selection criteria of flowers in every group in the case of casual flowers. Group 1 comprised of 60 year-old housewives who reside in a small city with high school diploma and annual income less than 300 million yen, and group 2 of 40 year-old housewives who are small city residents with high school diplomas and annual income of 300 million yen show higher rate of use in flower shape than colors. Another group 3 whose members are 50 year-old housewives, small city residents with high school diplomas and annual income of 600 million yen showed higher rate of use colors than the shape for selection criteria of flowers. The consumption characteristics according to the ages of the consumers showed a pronounced tendency. The 40-50 year-old housewives preferred single flowers packed with other flowers, and the 60 year-old housewives double flowers packed with only chrysanthemums. In flower color, the 50-60 year-old housewives preferred white and yellow flowers, and the 40 year-old housewives pink and yellow flowers. Therefore, there are needs for development strategy of new products considering the consumption characteristics of flower shape and color according to the ages of consumer. After analyzing the chrysanthemums for altar by departmentalization of Japanese consumers, every group showed relative higher rate of use for flower shape for selection criteria of flowers. According to the analysis on the consumption characteristics, group 1 which is comprised of 30-40 year-old housewives who reside in small city with high school diplomas and income less than 300 million yen, and the group 2 of 20 year-old housewives who reside in small city with college diplomas and annual income less than 300 million yen. They are very sensitive to the price of the products while the group 3 of 50 year-old housewives who reside in small city with high school diplomas and annual income less than 300 million yen are insensitive to the price. The 30-50 year-old housewives preferred white and pink flowers, and the 20 year-old housewives yellow and pink flowers. In flower shape, the 50 year-old housewives preferred anemone shape, the 30-40 year-old housewives double shape, and the 20 year-old housewives pompon shapes. Therefore, the white, double flowers for the 30-40 year-old housewives and the yellow, pompon flowers for the 20 year-old housewives are needed to be created at the lowest cost, while the white, anemone flowers are needed to created at higher cost with high quality. In light of these results, it is considered that we should understand the types of purchasing products through consumption characteristics of Japanese consumers. Also we should plan, create market-oriented and consumer-oriented products, and should export them in order to expand more exportation.
1. Production and consumption of chemical fertilizers in Korea could be divided into five different phases of total imports, setting up fertilizer plants, self-sufficiency in production, net export, and diversification in compound fertilizers. Currently the nation has production capacity of 800 thousand M/T of nitrogen, 400 thousand M/T of phosphate ($P_2O_5$) and 200 thousand M/T of potash ($K_2O$). 2. Yearly consumption increased every year, since 1964, 28,000 M/T N, 7,700 M/T $P_2O_5$, and 7,500 M/T $K_2O$ until 1972, when the increase jumped by eight times for $P_2O_5$ and seven times for $K_2O$ for the following 3 years in anticipation of their short supply. Now total consumption has been more or less stabilized at the level of 450 thousand M/T N, 220 thousand M/T $P_2O_5$ and 180 thousand M/T $K_2O$ for the last 7 years. 3. Current operation rate of fertilizer plants is around 80% throughout the whole industry, after going through several different levels depending on demand at times. 4. Fertilizer export started in 1967 and reached a peak of 150 thousand nutrient ton in 1972, about 20% of total production, before temporarily stopping due to over-demand for next three years. The export resumed again in 1976 rise to the all time high of 670 thousand nutrient ton in 1980, almost half of total production, and then started to decline due to higher price of petroleum since then. 5. The decline in fertilizer export appears to be accelerated because several countries, in South-Eastern Asia, traditional export market for Korean fertilizers, started to build their own plants, since 1980, based on their raw materials of especially petroleum. 6. Current consumption in Korea is about 30 nutrient Kg per 10a, equivalent to that in Western European countries, partly due to new high-yielding rice varieties and extensive cultivation of fruit trees and vegetables. Additional fertilizer demand in future can be anticipated in reclaimed land for growing grass and forestry.
This study aims to suggest useful information for tteokbokki franchise businesses to enter foreign markets by market testing and surveying preferences of foreign consumers with various kinds of tteokbokki. For this research, a survey was conducted from July 16 to August 20, 2012, targeting the people who live in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore. The data was collected and analyzed using SPSS for Windows Version 18.0. The relationship between the general details of consumers and the results of the market test were analyzed using canonical correlation analysis. Research results and utilization plans are expected to use for improving the image of the country and ripple effects on exporting agricultural and fishery products, along with the effect of increasing spread of overseas personnel export and domestic Korean overseas supply of cultural content. Nurturing restaurant franchise business, creating jobs, and contributing to the increase in the income of the rural economy are also expected. Fermented tteokbokki franchise business should create new added value. The development of fermented tteokbokki will build a new culture of consumption, expand consumption, academic cooperation and joint technology development, and activate employment linked. Consequently, it is necessary to understand eating habits of local consumers from a variety of perspectives such as texture, taste, and colors of sauce when globalizing Korean food.

In this study, the causal relationship between the main factors influencing the import of agricultural products and the changes in agricultural imports was investigated. In addition, we compared the magnitude of the impact of each factor on the changes in agricultural imports. It was found that the import liberalization rate, which represents the FTA factors and reflects the per capita GDP, the conditions of supply and demand of agricultural products in exporting countries and the changes in exchange rates, affects the changes of the agricultural products imports. However, the factors affecting the change of the imports by agricultural product category and the magnitude of the influence by each factor were different. This shows that various factors, other than the FTA factors, are compounding the changes in the agricultural imports. In the future, the market openings due to the implementation of the FTA will be further enlarged and the economic territory of the FTA will be further expanded, due to the implementation of additional FTAs, and the changes in the imports of agricultural products will cause damage to the domestic agricultural sector.
Korean TV program market has started since 1995 along with Cable TV and local TV stations and increased significantly due to Korean wave. Now the new platform such as IPTV makes a new opportunity of growth to the TV program market. This study will analyse the actual status and mechanism of Korean TV program market. To begin, Korean TV market is still dominated by terrestrial TV in domestic distribution market and in exportation even though the windows are diversified. This has influenced not only for the production market but also the distribution market as the following: continuous conflicts between terrestrial TV and independent production companies even though the significant increase of independent production in quantity ; terrestrial TV's dominance in distribution market with enormous libraries as for the major content provider. In addition, there are limited independent distributors due to the exclusive trade of TV programs by terrestrial TV. As for the exportation, foreign market for Korean TV programs are mainly Asian countries like Japan, China, etc. Furthermore, since the genre of distribution has been concentrated in dramas, it is time to make efforts to find a solution. Thus, this research can give a guideline as for the first step.
When the Korean Wave was sweeping over China, Asia, Other Countries, Some people worried that the ambiguity of the copyright act would obstruct export of the entertainment contents. To solve this problem, the copyright authentication was introduced in the copyright act, enforcement for its, etc. There are two authentication systems at copyright. One is right authentication protected by copyright, Other one is licence authentication received from the owner. This study is meant to seeking the problem of insufficient regulation related to copyright authentication. According to analysis of FGI in this study, the existing system does not support a proper and specific way how to suggest a long term perspective in the transaction of Korean Contents between Korea and China. The key to success of copyright authentication system between Korea and China depends upon the implementation of the system of copyright mutual authentication. To do so, In reality, laws, institutions, technologies, policies, and operations, etc. should be Inter-operability. Also we should realize that this system gives mutual benefits at transaction between the two countries. Thus, it is important for two countries to effort trade cooperation continuously.
This study analyzes the achievement of the shipping policies and the priority for the promotion of such policies, in order to consider the features of the shipping industries in Korea and other advanced shipping countries and manage the rapidly changing shipping environment actively. Based on such analysis, this study also discusses the promotional strategy to strengthen the international competitiveness of the shipping industry. Regarding the promotion of the related policies, it is necessary to establish a base for growth, strengthen a capacity of leading the market, and create an opportunity in the market. By considering such three factors, it has become known that the establishment of the market order is important for the establishment of a base for growth. It is important to consider the advancement of the shipping tax system. Also, the information-orientation and the knowledge-industrialization of the shipping industry need to be considered. In order to strengthen a capacity of leading the market, the stable security of the labor force in the shipping industry is the most important factor. Also, it is important to consider the development and the upbringing of the global mega career and the shipping business. Regarding the creation of an opportunity in the market, it is important to expand the range of the shipping exchange between South Korea and North Korea, which will influence the administrative and the operative results related with the promotion of the related policies.

It is necessary to develop a bridgehead port for trading with northern countries to promote trade through the East Sea because the East Sea Rim economic bloc around the Northeast Asia including South Korea, China, Russia, Japan, and North Korea has a high growth potential in the future. Therefore, this study aims to suggest a strategic direction to enhance the competitiveness of Donghae Port through reinforcement of container cargoes by conducting Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) for stakeholders of Donghae Port. The analysis results suggest that it is necessary to improve the five evaluation factors: attractiveness of container and bulk volumes, appropriate ratio of export/import container quantities, frequency of vessel entry and diversity of sea routes, convenience of complex linked transportation, and competitiveness of cargo handling equipment. The implications of this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to continuously research the current status of container and bulk cargo volumes of the port and ways to increase the absolute cargo volume. Second, we need to consider realistic alternatives to improve the ratio of export/import container quantities. Third, in terms of network, we should establish a service improvement plan to increase the frequency of port calls and the diversity of sea routes. Furthermore, incentives should be provided to increase the trade volume of Donghae Port through strengthened complex linked transportation function. Finally, it is urgently necessary to provide investment support for container handling equipment as an essential requirement for the activation of the container cargoes in Donghae Port.

The summer production of sweet pepper in Korea which cultured in the highland area such as Hapchon is essential for a year-round export, but has the problem, fruits lose easily those marketability. This study was carried out to find changes of fruit quality in response to storage on sweet pepper cultivars in summer. Seven cultivars of sweet peppers, 'Jubilee', 'Plenty', 'Goal', 'Romeca', 'Derby', 'Midas' and 'Maximalia' were obtained iron growers in Hapchon which was highland of 600-800m from sea level and stored at $10^{\circ}C$ with box packing. Fruit quality was evaluated every 4days up to 4weeks. The weight loss of 'Jubilee' was the lowest, that of 'Romeca' was the highest. The firmness of 'Goal' was maintained highly for 4weeks and the red cultivars was higher than those of other color cultivars. The lightness of 'Jubilee' was sensitively affected by storage duration. Seeds of 'Plenty' and 'Derby' were plentifully browned after 4weeks storage. The occurrence of fruit rotting was after 16-204ay storage and those of 'Plenty' and 'Maximalia' were the earliest. The marketability of 'Jubilee' and 'Romeca' maintained by 70% for 16 days was the highest, but most cultivars lost those by 20% after 24days storage. It may be suggested that the marketability of sweet pepper producted in summer can be stored at $10^{\circ}C$ for 2weeks to maintain that of 80%.
Although growth potential of trade between Korea and the GCC region has existed in various fields through economic and business cooperation, few data and practical study related with trade structure and cooperation between Korea and GCC region have been found and the potential for further economic expansion has not been extensively explored. In this sense, this study is to analyze trade flows between Korea and GCC region countries(Saudi Arabia, Unites Arab Emirates, Qatar) using trade intensity index, trade complementarity index and special country bias index, identify potential for further expansion of Korea's trade into the GCC region and further propose the implication of FTA between mutual countries. Our analysis of trade flows also demonstrates that there is a high level of trade complementarity between Korea and GCC region. It means that increase of trade complementarity and special country bias come from removing not only trade barrier and increasing but also capital movement. Especially, the study reveals that there is an untapped potential for Korea to increase its exports to Saudi, based on the highest complementarities. Export expansion between Korea and Saudi through FTA will create new opportunity in near future.
