We investigated resin, thinner, painting, and injection for analyzing the chemical effect of polymer, and made the optimum solution with the best performance of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) resin. The effect depended on chemical material especially its chemical and physical properties instead of mechanical transformation. When we looked over ABS resin, injection, chemical material and painting, we found out thinner was the main factor for painting problem. Throughout this test, we could solve the problem, secure the system for control process and drop many factors for changing quality.

이때 MEK(Methyl Ethyl Ketone), TOL(Toluene), DMF(Dimethyl Formamide) 등과 같은 유기용제를 사용하여 점도를 조절한다.
Flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) tears in adolescents appear as avulsion tears in the FDP tendon, whereas longitudinal tears are very rare. Moreover, there has been only one reported case of intratendinous fibroma occurring in the flexor tendon of a finger. A longitudinal tear of the flexor profundus tendon associated with an intratendinous fibroma has not been previously reported. We report one case of a longitudinal partial tear accompanied by an intratendinous fibroma at the FDP tendon of the left middle finger after a hyperextension injury caused by the impact of a baseball. Given the rarity of longitudinal flexor tendon tears in adolescents, in such cases, the possibility of an underlying pathology should be considered.
Analysis of wettability between epoxy resin and glass fabric was studied. The mixing ratios of epoxy resin and anhydride hardener were varied as 1:0.5, l:l and l:1.2. Catalyst content was fixed as 0.1wt% of the mixed resin. A curing analysis by differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) showed a possible impregnation of the mixed resin at the room temperature. An effective contact angle of the mixed epoxy resin drop onto the glass fabric being preset on a flat glass plate was measured as a function of time. The wet area of the epoxy resin drop was also measured. Behaviors of the contact angle, the droplet height, the neat wet area and the coefficient of wettability were used to evaluate the wettability of the epoxy resin onto the glass fabric. It was concluded that the equivalent ratio of 1: 1.2 was the most suitable for the wettability.
Thermoplastic aceton-formaldehyde resin adhesive was added as a modifier for urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive and its effects on plywood smear strength and wood failure were investigated. The results are summarized as follows: 1) The plywood shear strength and wood failure showed the highest values at $120^{\circ}C$ of hot plate temperature, but the values decreased according to the rise of addition ratio of aceton resin. 2) The variation of molar ratio of aceton resin had no effect on plywood shear strength and wood failure. 3) The plywood bonded by the addition of aceton resin showed lower values than those of urea resin bonding plywoods in shear strength and wood failure. Therefore, aceton resin was inadequate as a modifier of urea resin adhesive.
The RFI process can be applied to very thick structures without limiting the resin viscosity. When the proper thickness of the resin film cannot be set, the resin film creates either the non-impregnated section or the excessive resin contents and this leads to the deterioration of mechanical properties. Therefore, this study proposed a method for setting the resin film thickness in the RFI process. The fiber compaction behavior test was proposed by setting the proper resin film thickness and the properties of composites were evaluated through short beam shear strength test, compression test and porosity measurement to verify the proposed method. The evaluation of physical properties of composites was conducted and an appropriate level of resin film thickness was found based on the results of fiber compaction behavior test.
To accelerate the curing and to improve the bonding properties of urea-melamine-formaldehyde (UMF) resin adhesives for plywood, the effects of resin compositions and additives on gelation time and bonding strength were discussed. The gelation time of UMF resin prepared by simultaneous reaction with urea(U), melamine(M) and formaldehyde(F) at M/U molar ratio 0.2 was shortened as the molar ratio of formaldehyde to urea was increased. However, at F/U molar ratios higher than 2.5, the amounts of free fomaldehyde of resin could not satisfy with KS standard, Therefore, it was difficult to increase the amount of formaldehyde in resin composition for the purpose of fast gelation time. With increasing the molar ratio of melamine to urea(M/U) from 0.3 to 0.6 at constant F/U molar ratio 3.4, the gelation time of UMF resin was slightly decreased, while gradually increased at M/U molar ratio higher than 0.6. The gelation properties of UMF resin and bonding strength of UMF-bonded plywood could be enhanced by using ammonium chloride and p-toluene sulfonic acid as a curing-agent together with wheat flour and corngluten powder as a extender.
Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)-based hydrocarbon resins are widely used as tackifiers in many applications. In particular, hydrogenated DCPD-based hydrocarbon resins are widely used in premium hot-melt-type adhesives such as hot melt adhesives (HMAs) and/or hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives (HMPSAs), because are water-white in color and possess excellent stability to light and heat. This article discusses the adhesive performance of various hydrogenated DCPD resins when they are used as tackifiers in styrene-block-copolymer (SBC)-based HMPSAs. This article shows the correlation between the characteristics of tackifiers and the adhesive performance of SBC-based HMPSAs. The higher the softening point of the tackifier, the higher is the $T_g$, softening point, and crossover temperature of the PSAs. High aromatic H wt% content reduces the high-temperature resistance of PSAs, as suggested by the decrease in the crossover temperature and softening point of the PSAs.
Most of the plastics products are being manufactured by injection molding. Warpage in injection molded affects the product dimension and it causes assembling problem. In this study, warpages in the injection molded part been studied. Specimens are rectangular flat shapes with and without ribs. Amorphous polymers (PC and ABS) and crystalline polymers (PP and PA66) were used for material. Flat shape with ribs showed higher warpage than flat shape without ribs by 6 to 9%. The specimens with ribs that are located parallel to the flow direction has higher warpage than specimens with ribs that are located perpendicular to the flow direction by 25 to 39%. Crystalline polymers have higher warpage than amorphous polymers by 23 to 67%. Warpage decreases as packing time increases and it increases as injection temperature increases.
