  • 가스터빈용 단결정 주조 블레이드는 기포 및 Freckle등과 같은 주조결함이 없어야 하며, 수지상, ${\gamma}$'크기와 모양에 따라 화학조성이 다르며, 기지와 공정조직을 각각 2영역 및 3영역으로 분류할 수 있었다. 또한, Ti는 첨가원소호서 조직제어에 매우 중요한 역할을 하였다.

  • 본 실험은 미국 Washington 주 V 도시에서 1987년과 1908년에 PCP 유출사고로 발생된 PCP 오염토양을 처리하는 연구로 heme과 과산화수소를 이용한 abiotic 기술로 14C-PCP를 이용하여 PCP의 거동조사로 물질수지 연구와 pan 연구를 통하여 오염토양에서 PCP 제거되는 분해능을 조사하였다. $^{14}$ C-PCP를 이용한 오염토양에서 물질수지는 2g 오염토양당 0.035 g heme과 0.11g 과산화수소를 첨가하여 반응 24시간 동안 반응시킨후 완전 산화율은 20%, 토양잔류 27%, 그리고 용매상에는 38%로 총 $^{14}$ C-PCP가 회수율은 85% 이었다. PCP 유출사고로 보관된 오염토양 처리를 위한 pan 연구결과 24시간내 초기 PCP 987 mg/kg soil에서 85%가 제거되고, 서서히 분해되어 33일 에는 95% 분해능을 보여주고 있다.

  • Thirtythree strains of the Aspergillus spp. isolated from foodstuffs were observed through some physiological characteristics for detection of identification key of Aspergillus spp. 1) Each strain of Aspergillus spp. had their specific characteristics and could be used for identification of species. 2) Excellent amylase-producing fungi were observed among the isolated strains of Aspergillus spp. 3) Amylase activities increased for one week incubation period. 4) In the tests of common characters of aflatoxin-producing fungi among the 33 strains of Aspergillus spp., for example, conidial size, presence of sclerotia, kojic acid, and pigment production, coloration of phenol, reduction of methylene blue, etc.

  • 본 연구에서는 리튬 금속을 음극소재로 사용하기 위해 수지상 리튬의 성장을 억제하기 위한 지침을 얻기 위한 목적으로 TEM(Transmission Electron Microscope)과 임피던스를 주된 분석 수단으로 이용하여 2. 15 M LiBETI/ PC, 2.04 M $LiClO_4$/ PC 전해질은 1 M LiBETI/ PC, 1 M $LiClO_4$/ PC 전해질보다 얇고 치밀한 SEI(Solid Electrolyte Interphase) 구조를 가지고, 클로로포름에 의해 SEI의 유기물이 녹아 두께가 얇아 졌다. 임피던스를 측정한 결과 두꺼운 두께를 가진 SEI는 저항이 더 크고, 클로로포름 처리 후에는 저항이 커진 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Morphology and infrared absorbing characteristics of Pt-black prepared by electroplating have been investigated with XRD, SEM, and IR spectrophotometer. The Pt later was coated on Au-coated alumina/glass substrates for 1-5 min at pH 1.0-1.5, where a solution of platinum chloride and lead acetate was used as the electrolyte. At the electrical current density of 20-50 mA/㎠, the Pt-black showed a dendritic growth which was characterized by a "tree" shape. Absorptivity of above 90% at IR radiation of 10 m was observed for the Pt absorbing layer with an area density of ≥1.3mg/㎠.

  • In this paper, we studied on the growing characteristics of dendrite structure of melted wire deteriorated by over current. Electric wire was melted by Jolue's heat. By using HSIS(High Speed Imaging System), we found out a lot of melted parts of wire were dispersed and radiated. Electric wire had narrow melted areas in case of short fusing time. A lot of very small dots generated around the grain of copper cross-section and they were changed into dendrite structure. Dendrite structure appeared at the values lower than 2.5[A/sec]. In case of very short fusing time, fusing current was calculated by empirical formula. The Preece equation was not enough to analyze a variety of characteristics of melted wire because it did not consider melting time, atmosphere, etc.

  • The UV curing industry is one of the most wide application fields in the coating and printing inks industry. Applications extend to general coating for paper, board, wood tapes, compact discs and holograms, ink, photoresists for imaging processes and adhesives for welding and sealing in circuit boards. The UV-curing resins have advantages of quick set, space saving, clean environment and efficient use of energy. The purpose of this study has been to control of morphology structures consist of UV-curing resins and alkyd resins. Therefore, we are investigated with regard to rheology properties on the exposure to UV-curing, structures and mechanical properties for curing films.

  • 개조한 가스 금속 아아크 용접공정을 이용하여 SiC/AI 금속기 복합재료를 제조하고 그 특성을 조사하였다. AI 모재위에 강화입자의 크기와 부피분율을 변화하여 다양한 SiC/AI 복합재료층을 제조하였고, 만들어진 복합재료층의 특성은 미세조직관찰과 미소경도시험을 통하여 이루어졌다. 복합재료층의 두께는 약 7-8mm로 측정되었고 균일한 강화입자의 분포도를 얻을 수 있었다. 분산입자의 부피분률은 Ar가스의 유량에 의하여 조절하였고 분산입자의 부피분률이 증가하고 크기가 작아짐에 따라 기지의 수지상 응고조직은 더욱 미세화되었다. 복합재료의 부피경도는 분산입자의 부피분률이 감소함에 따라 낮아졌으나 입자 크기에는 크게 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

CD1b in immature dendritic cells acquires increased phagocytotic function (수지상세포의 CD1b 분자와 포식작용의 증가)

  • Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB)-originated lipid antigen is presented on the antigen-presenting cell surface with CD1b. When monocyte-derived dendritic cells phagocytosed MTB H37Rv (Multiplicity of infection 10, infectivity: 46.89%), the CD1b expression level decreased slowly. Since this was just a live MTB-mediated phenomenon, it was not detected from heat-killed MTB or mycolic acid, which is a unique antigen of MTB. We confirmed that the phosphorylation of CD1b molecules using 2D electrophoresis with staining could phosphorylate and induce the presentation of the lipid antigen using the phagocytosis assay.

Effect of $TiO_2$ on crystallization of silicate glass containing EAF dust (전기로 제강 더스트가 포함된 규산염계 유리의 결정화에 미치는 $TiO_2$ 영향)

  • Microstructure of glass-ceramics obtained by heat treating silicate glass containing 50 wt% electric arc furnace dust (EAF dust) and nucleation agents were observed. The crystallization temperature, $T_c$ of glassy specimen measured around $850^{\circ}C$ from different thermal analysis, so the heat treatment condition to obtain glass-ceramic specimen was selected as $950^{\circ}C/15 hr$. The nucleation agent, $TiO_2$ showed the superior effect on enhancing franklinite crystal growth which has stronger mechanical properties and more durable chemical resistance than willemite phase. Some specimens containing $TiO_2$ had the augite crystal phase and increasing $TiO_2$ amount decreased a fraction of willemite and increased a franklinite. Especially, the specimen with 5 wt% $TiO_2$ showed no willemite crystal phase and $1{\sim}2\;{\mu}m$ franklinite crystals dispersed uniformly in glassy matrix. Also, the specimens containing 5 wt% $TiO_2$ mixed with $Fe_2O_3$ showed a dendrite-shaped franklinite crystals caused by coalescence of small crystallites.
