Population aging has been one of the serious problems in Korea. Aging can affect social and economic features including energy consumption. This paper analyzed how population aging makes an effect on residential electricity demand. Yearly data from 1965 to 2010 were collected. The long and short-run demands for residential electricity were estimated with respect to Korean aging index. The results show that population aging reduces residential electricity demands in the short run significantly, but the effect decreases in the long run. However, population aging still negatively affects residential electricity consumption in long run. If population keep aging as Korean government expected, then the residential electricity demand per capita will grow less than 3%.

Although the Dept. of Geography in Korea has contributed to the social development of Korea with a remarkable growth for a short period, their social status and influence have not greatly improved and the graduates in Geography do not have many job opportunities. The low social statue and the limited job opportunities of the Dept. of Geography in Korea was due to the failure of the creation of their demand and the expansion of their sphere in response to the social changes and developments of Korea. In France, the Dept. of Geography has raised their social standings through the suited curriculum system to generate their demand and enlarge their domain with the social changes and development of French. The Dept. of Geography in Korea also needs not only the expansion of sphere but the building of the proper curriculum system for the creation of demand.

스마트그리드 환경에서 증가하는 에너지 수요에 대응하기 위하여 수요 반응(Demand response, DR) 프로그램에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 특히, 전력 분야에서는 공급측 자원과 수요측 자원을 효율적으로 운영하기 위하여 수요 반응에 기반한 마이크로그리드 운영 기술이 요구되며, 추후 마이크로그리드의 실 시스템에 많은 도입이 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 TOU(Time-of-use)와 DLC(Direct load control)에 기반한 마이크로그리드의 최적 운영계획을 수립하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 수리적 모델의 타당성을 검토하고자 한다.

In Korea 2016, the largest earthquake occurred in Gyeongju since the beginning of monitoring earthquakes. Consecutively the second-largest earthquake occurred in Pohang. At that time, immediately after the earthquake, citizens were not notified adequate information for evacuation. In consequence the response process was very confusing and citizens were not able to properly evacuate to shelter. For resolving these problems, it is needed of a service to inform quickly information which citizens want to know immediately after the earthquake. So, we have developed the customized information service model, the earthquake safety service which help citizens to escape safely using an earthquake shaking alert device. In this paper, we will introduce this model and present the future direction of R&D and strategic plans for technology dissemination and improvement of practicality through user demand survey.

새정부 들어 주택의 안정적 공급을 위한 대책을 내놓고 있으나, 주택 수요 공급과 관련된 통계 및 정보의 종합적 관리 체계 미흡으로 주택수급상황을 파악하여 주택수급에 대처하는 주택하위 시장별 대응정보가 미비한 실정이다. 이에 따라 수급상황을 분석 및 제공하기 위한 정보시스템을 구축 "주택 수요"가 있는 곳에 "주택을 공급"하는 정책지원체계가 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 행정생활권, 광역교통망, 주택사업위치, 공공 민간 사업지구 등의 GIS정보 기반에 주택 수요 공급 통계 및 정보를 분석하여 정책지원 및 대국민 서비스를 하는 정보체계인 주택수급지도(Housing Demand and Supply Mapping Model)의 구축방안을 제시하였다. 연구에서는 주택수급에 필요한 수요현황 및 예측 등 "주택수요정보"에 기초하여 주택건설, 공급, 재고 등의 "주택공급정보"를 분석하여 주택수급지도에 대한 기본설계 방안을 도출하였다. 향후 주택수급지도를 활용하여 주택수급상황을 한눈에 파악하고, 주택수요를 고려한 수요자별 맞춤형 주택공급정책을 수립할 수 있도록 지원함으로써, 지역별, 주택 규모별, 주택유형별, 인구계층별 주택수급 예측에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
