The present study aims to examine the effect of the reading guidance program that applied the Enneagram of Personality to a group of 6th year elementary school students. In order to verify the effect of the program, three variables with the highest correlation-self-encouragement, self-efficacy and sociality-were selected as the assessment tools for the present experimental study. Based on a group of 6th year elementary students as participants, the reading guidance instructions were given applying the Enneagram of Personality, and in order to verify the effect of those instructions, the students were divided into two groups and assigned to either an experimental or a control group.

In this study, we examined elementary school teachers' needs for environmental education (EE) in order to effectively implement EE in the elementary school. The participants were 113 elementary school teachers in Chungcheongnam-Do. Twenty items were adapted from the Environmental Education Needs test, and the teachers were asked to respond to each item on a 5-point Likert scale. For the items of the subcategory of EE training, teachers' preferences between the on-site and the online training were also asked. Although the teachers showed relatively strong needs for most items of both the subcategories of EE service and EE training, they exhibited stronger needs for the items related to the services and/or the content of training readily applicable to EE classes. Teachers preferred the online training to the on-site training in most items whereas their preferences to the on-site training tended to be relatively high in the items such as the use of local nonformal EE site, the development and the use of outdoor EE site, and the EE teaching strategies. Educational implications for the effective EE are discussed.

The purpose of the study is to prove the effectiveness of bibliotherapy program to overcome of the excessive absorption on games for children. A 12-week programs were developed and managed in 1-2 grade, 3-4 grade, 5-6 grade for the elementary school student. Also MGUS (Maladaptive Game Use Scale), Self-Esteem Inventory, Self-Control Inventory, and HTP(House, Tree, Person) Diagnosis Tool were measured prior to the bibliotherapy and post-tests were followed to the participants statistically by t-test. According to analysis results, the bibliotherapy program was effectiveness to overcome of the excessive absorption on games for children.

This paper is to study adequacy of developing tutorial series for primary school students regarding MOS certification and to analyze a validity. In order to analyze a level of difficulty, current primary teaching materials being used after class, in comparison with ICT discretionary hour materials being used through primary discretionary class, were evaluated. It was done by primary teachers with in- depth understanding of a level of difficulty and after class instructors using Likert scale through quantitative analysis. As a result, level of PowerPoint has a satisfactory fit (76%), however, the degree of difficulty of Word and Excel is quite high. On its subject matter, there is quite a dispute with present curriculum. Therefore, in order to introduce MS-Word or Excel, it is necessary to adjust a level of difficulty or related subjects according to the level of students.

In order to solve the problems of maintenance and security for information-infrastructure, public organizations and some of leading companies adopted Server Based Computing(SBC) infrastructure. The effectiveness and possibility of SBC has become focused with the Cloud-Computing infrastructure, which is a extended concept of SBC, as it is being magnified as a main part among the internet business models for the next generation. The purpose of this study was to analyze its probability in elementary and secondary school and find out its effectiveness. In order to do this, three model schools have been selected from GyeongBuk, ChungNam, ChungBuk province and they were managed by SBC infrastructure. And We conducted analysis of satisfaction for teachers and students, interview with teachers and classroom observation as a effectiveness verification. As the results of the analysis, First, we can find out which part we should consider more when we are to adopt SBC infrastructure. Second, the level of satisfaction for teachers is 3.45 and students is 3.2. Therefore, this study was concluded to contribute to find directions what should be considered when setting the SBC infrastructure in elementary and secondary schools.

인간의 사고 기능과 학습기능이 '뇌'를 바탕으로 이루어진다고 할 때, 뇌의 긴장을 풀어 원래의 건강하고 창조적인 이완 상태에서의 학습 상태가 유효하게 된다. 즉, 뇌파가 " $\alpha$" 상태 가 되었을 때 긴장된 신체의 각 부분이 충분히 이완되고 두뇌는 맑고 건강한 상태를 유지하여 활발하고 창조적인 상태가 된다. 뇌파의 측정 및 분석된 기존 연구에 의하면, 인간의 심리상태와 신체 상태, 행동 패턴에도 직, 간접적인 영향을 주어 뇌파의 조절이 인간 잠재능력 개발의 첩경이라는 결과가 보고되어진다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구에서는 뇌의 특성을 고려하여 뇌를 이완시킴으로써 학생들의 학습능력을 향상시키 기 위한 새로운 접근 방법을 시도한다. 뇌파 조절이 가해지는 환경하에 학습 효율의 변화 정도를 정성적( 심리적, 학습적, 신체적) 및 정량적(영어 단어 암기력 TEST, 뇌파 특정 등)으로 평가 및 분석을 통해 뇌파 조절 효과가 학생들의 학습 효율을 더욱 향상 시킬 수 있는 지의 타당성을 검증하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 새로운 학습 방법을 모색하고자 한다. 한편, 본 연구에서는 실험 대상을 본 대학 임의의 2학년 학생 13 명 을 대상으로 하고 실험기간은 약 4개월에 걸쳐 실험 하였다. 뇌파 측정은 13명중 임의의 학생 7명을 선정 하여 각 40분씩 측정 분석하였다. 또한 영어 단어 암기력 TEST를 실시하여 그 결과를 뇌파 조절 전,후로 나누어 비교 분석하였다. 정성적 분석으로서 종합 설문지를 이용한 15 개 항목의 5점 척도를 사용하여 분석하였으며 가가 통계 이론을 이용하여 검증하였다. 뇌파 측정은 수행 전후 비교 결과 " .alpha. " 노출 비율이 수행 전보다 수행 후가 다소 높은 비유로 나타났으며, 특히 영어 단어 암기력은 평균적으로 크게 상승되는 것으로 나타났다. 정성적 분석 결과에서는 많은 심리적 변화 상태가 나타나고 있지만 전체적으로 마음의 안정감, 몸의 긴장 이완에 따른 건강 상태 유지, 수업 집중도 향상 등이 나타났다. 위와 같은 종합 적 분석 결과에 따라, 본 연구는 제조 현장의 생산성 향상 및 품질 향상과 연계하여 작업자의 작업 집중도 향상, 작업자의 육체적, 심리적 변화에 따른 생산성 및 품질 향상 변화 정도 등의 산업공학(인간공학) 제 분야의 여러 측면에서 연구 및 적용이 가능하리라 사료된다.

In Korea, pre-service teachers' negative attitude toward robots keep them from being applied in schools. To cope with these obstacles, this study examines the change of pre-service teachers' attitude toward robots after adopting robot programming. To prove the program's effect, pre-service teachers were divided into three groups, including each group taking pre-and post-tests. After analyzing the pre-tests, none of the groups showed any difference; however, they did show significant differences in the post-tests. A paired sample t-test was conducted in each group for investigating the change. Those who took ICT and programming education did not show a change. However, those who took robot programming education did show a statistically significant difference.

The purpose of this study was to exam the effect of the leisure lecture on the class participants' leisure attitude. To achieve the purpose, a experiment method was performed. The167 subjects for this experiment were extracted from two leisure lectures of a university located in north Chungcheong province. With those subjects, a leisure lecture was operated for two hours in a week for fifteen weeks. To collect data, Ragheb & Beard[22]'s LAS(Leisure Attitude Scale) was used. The scale was used twice for the subjects. The first was tested at the beginning of first lecture and the second was at the last lecture. The collected data was analyzed with paired t-test by SPSS 12.0 program for Windows. The results proved that the leisure lecture affected on the subjects' all four sub-factors(cognitive, affective, intent, behavioral) of leisure attitude. Furthermore, the effect of the lecture was different by sex and grade.

The purpose of this study was to general needs and identify the educational needs for teaching competency of home economics teachers. based on their perception on teaching competency revealed in Previous studies. Data were collected from 1,104 schools selected by stratified sampling. based on school district, ranking and size. The 616 items of survey materials were collected from 417 schools and the levels of importance and performance were measured on Likert scale with 7- and 5- points, respectively. The analysis reveled that the educational needs for improving teaching competency were high in the following three areas out of seven areas. 1) interfacing ability with the local community and diverse human resources. 2) ability managing space and materials for learning 3) ability diversifying lesson development and evaluation ability. In addition. diversifying and professionalizing present development program for home economics teachers made higher score than improving education program for home economics teachers. These two needs of teachers showed significant differences according to their educational experiences and foundation types of their schools.

There are various kinds of instructional models in the 7th national curriculum. Among them, cooperative learning is given to students in some schools. In cooperative learning, the items for assessing the team members are required in order to evaluate the individual activities for problem solving, and to know the way of objective thinking each student does. Web-based environment is good for cooperative learning. In this paper, as a previous research work of web-based cooperative learning, we propose new assessment items which are based on the outcome D belongs to the set of 11 student learning outcomes design attributed framework developed by ABET EC-2000 and the cognitive categories defined by Bloom's taxonomy. These assessment items consist of self and peer assessment. The self assessment items include the evidence of the students' thought and their own assessment. On the other hand, the peer assessment can give the students the opportunities to participate in their activities enthusiastically, to offer interactive individual feedbacks, and to develop potential through various experiences.
