A Study on Risk Assessment in Transporting Hazardous Material (위험물질 수송 시 위험성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In this research, the goal is to ascertain the potential danger when transporting hazardous material by considering the important elements that contribute to such situation, instead of relying on the quantitative risk assessment of fixed facilities. Also, this study will verify the social and personal risk according to damage zone limits, by applying the worst case scenario and the alternative scenario that occur during the transportation process. Moreover, it has selected the optimum transportation route for maximum safety. The result of this research could be used to construct a systematic emergency system that can minimize the damage from serious industrial accidents, by effectively decreasing the danger zone and forming a connection between the community, the society, and the industries according to such evaluations.

  • Recently, in the field of rail freight transportation, the number of trains dedicated for shippers has been increasing. These dedicated trains, which run on the basis of a contract with shippers, had been restricted to the transportation of containers, or so called block trains. Nowadays, such commodities have extended to cement, hard coal, etc. Most full freight cars are transported by dedicated trains. But, for empty car distribution, the efficiency still remains questionable because the distribution plan is manually developed by dispatchers. In this study, we investigated distribution models delineated in the KTOCS system which was developed by KORAIL as well as mathematical models considered in the state-of-the-art. The models are based on optimization models, especially the network flow model. Here we suggest a new optimization model with a framework of the column generation approach. The master problem can be formulated into a transportation problem with additional constraints. The master problem is improved by adding a new edge between the supply node and the demand node; this edge can be found using a simple shorted path in the time-space network. Finally, we applied our algorithm to the Korean freight train network and were able to find the total number of empty car kilometers decreased.

  • 본 논문에서는 승객 수송수요 반영 단계에서는 역별 승하차인원, 시간대별 재차인원 등 수송수요에 반영할 기준을 설정하여 수송력과 승차인원의 기준을 판단하고, 열차운행계획 수립 단계에서는 운행구간, 선로용량, 선로조건 등 제약조건과 적정수송력에 맞는 운행계획을 수립하고, 마지막 단계에서 경제성, 능률성, 합리성 등을 감안한 운용효율 향상을 위한 열차 DIA를 작성하고자 한다. 또한 통계적 분석절차에 따라 재차인원과 운행횟수를 각각의 독립변수와 종속변수로 산정하여 두 변수간의 상관관계를 확인한 후 회귀분석을 통해 얻은 회귀식을 실제열차운행 횟수와 비교하여 최적의 열차운행횟수를 산정하였으며 회귀식의 유효성 검증을 통해 열차운행 환경변화에 신속하게 대응할 수 있는 유연한 시스템을 구축한 후 서울도시철도공사 실용 Dia에 적용하여 유효성을 검토하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 허브와 스포크의 입지선정과 차량 경로가 통합된 hub-and-spoke 네트워크 설계문제를 다룬다. Hub-and-spoke 네트워크는 대량화와 공동화를 통해 물류효율화를 실현하기 위한 대표적인 구조로 물류시스템에서 흔히 사용되고 있다. 이러한 물류시스템에서 물류비용의 절감과 고객서비스 향상을 위한 효율적인 수송네트워크 설계는 매우 중요하다. 전통적인 hub-and-spoke 네트워크 설계문제에서 각 스포크의 위치와 화물량이 미리 주어진 상황에서 허브의 입지를 결정하였다. 하지만 스포크 역시 스포크가 담당하는 고객들의 위치와 담당 영역에 따라 그 위치와 수, 그리고 화물량이 변할 수 있다. 또한 정확한 비용산출을 위해서는 스포크에서 고객으로의 수집과 배달을 위한 차량경로가 함께 고려되어야 한다. 다루는 수송망 설계문제는 상호 관련성 있는 여러 부분문제가 결합된 통합문제로써 이를 해결하는 방법으로 기존의 발견적 방법에 의한 순차적 기법은 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 공생 진화알고리듬 기반의 방법론을 채용하여 다루는 수송망 설계문제를 동시에 통합적으로 해결할 수 있는 알고리듬을 개발한다. 실험을 통해 개발한 알고리듬의 우수성과 그 적용성을 보인다.

  • Continuous oil price rising and the regulation of carbon emmission makes companies to have higher competitiveness. because of this trend, companies are trying to establish and manage efficient logistics system to improve customer service and reduce cost, so more competitive logistics complex is needed. To construct this kind of logistics complex, proper policy and logistics system for transportation is necessary. Especially, efficient operation through establishing system of logistics at the complex is very important for low cost and environmental friendly point of view. So this paper presents logistics network operation model for efficient transportation, especially approaches the problem with Multi-Phase.

  • The logistics industry is growing rapidly with China's economic development in recent years. Particularly, the intermodal freight system is becoming the main issue to reduce the logistic costs under the situation that the quantity of cargo transported between Korea and China is continuously increasing. Shift from road transportation to eco-friendly modes such as rail and coastwise shipping is also increasing. The present study suggests technical aspects related to the implementation of intermodal transport system centered on train ferries between two countries with already employed Chinese infrastructure into consideration. Technical assessment of intermodal train ferry system entails not only the vessels but supporting facilities and technologies as well. Port and rail facilities and operating skills for efficient modal shifting, and their standardization is indispensible to the realization of an intermodal train ferry system between the two countries.

철도 신호보안장치 안전성 규격의 발전동향

  • 신호보안장치는 안전성을 기본 개념으로 탄생했으며, 열차를 안전하고 효율적으로 운행하기 위하여 고안된 설비이다. 안전성, 정확성, 신속성, 대량 수송, 환경친화성, 에너지 효율성 등은 다른 교통수단과 구별되는 철도의 장점이며 이의 달성에는 신호보안장치가 긴요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 신호보안장치는 Fail-Safe 원칙을 근간으로 개발되었다. 그러나 신호보안장치가 전자화되고 복잡해지면서 철도시스템에서 차지하는 비중이 높아지고, 전세계적인 무역자유화 및 개방화, 국제화 추세 속에서 좀더 체계적이고 일관성 있는 안전성에 대한 접근이 요구되면서 철도신호보안장치의 안전성 규격이 유럽과 일본에서는 1990년대 후반, 한국은 2000년대 초부터 발표되기 시작했다. 이들 안전성 규격은 재래식 시스템보다는 새로 개발되고 있는 전자화 및 컴퓨터화된 신호보안장치들을 주요 대상으로 하고 있다.   • Current competition among companies than regional, the time constraints, it is globalization, Tilt the efforts of many to be operated by building the efficient distribution system to reduce logistics costs and improve customer service it is reality's there. Therefore, the need for industrial complexes environmentally friendly can be cost competitive companies perform cavitation region's increased. To build the distribution center these logistics system through a joint of freight and appropriate policy is required. In particular, efficient operation through the system construction of industrial complexes in the logistics system is very important in terms of friendly low-cost urban logistics, the environment. Since the traffic volume which is Jipufa and utilization of network is transported by a more appropriate technicians and means suitable operating model can efficiency is improved. However, despite these advantages, research network design has not been actively conducted due to the complexity of the problem. Therefore, in this study, by analyzing the logistics system, and presents the operating model through a simulation and basic settings for the model of the logistics complex based on the analysis result, the construction of infrastructure of logistics industry complex it is intended to present the article.

  • Companies are facing challenges to have high competitiveness because of continuous oil price rising and CO2 emissions regulations. Thus, companies are trying hard to construct effective logistics and operation system to achieve high customer service quality and saving cost. Also the ec-friendly idustrial complex is needed. Busan is in process to construct GILC(Global Industry Logistics City) in west Busan province to achieve high competitiveness and support lack of industrial complex. To construct this kind of logistics industrial complex, it needs logistics system through proper policy and freight transportation co-operation. Especially, efficient management through logistics hierarchy construction in industrial complex is very important for low cost and eco-friendly point of view. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze logistics system and suggest operation model to present logistics complex construction base data.

A Single Allocation Hub Network Design Model for Intermodal Freight Transportation (단일할당 복합운송 허브 네트워크 설계 모형 개발)

  • Intermodal freight transportation is defined as the movement of freight from origins to destinations by two or more transportation modes. When implemented in hub networks, it could enhance the efficiency of the networks because consolidated flows are transported by more suitable modes and technologies. In spite of this advantage, the intermodal hub network design problem has received limited attention in the literature partly because of the complex nature of the problem. This paper aims to develop an optimization model for designing intermodal hub networks with sin91e allocation strategy. The model takes into account various cost components of intermodal hub networks including transportation, stationary inventory, and service delay costs. Moreover, using transport frequency variables, it is capable of endogenously determining the transportation economies of scale achieved by consolidation of flows. As such, the model is able to realistically represent the characteristics of intermodal hub networks in practice. Since the model Is a complicated nonlinear integer programming problem, we perform model simplification based on the analytical study of the model, which could facilitate the development of solution algorithms in the future. We expect that this study contributes to the design of intermodal hub networks as well as to the assessment of existing logistics systems.
