본 논문은 이상전압으로부터 배전선로 및 전력기기를 보호하기 위해 사용되는 폴리머피뢰기에 대해 침수 시험을 실시하여 침수 전후 폴리머피뢰기의 특성변화를 평가하였다. 침수 시험은 수온 95[$^{\circ}C$]에서 20일 동안 실시하였다. 침수 시험 전후 폴리머피뢰기의 특성분석은 푸리에변환 적외선분광기(FTR : fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer), 유전열분석(DETA : dielectric thermal analyzer), 발수성 측정, 절연저항 측정, 누설전류 측정, 동작개시전압 측정 둥으로 연구 하였다. 이를 통해 침수시험의 열화 효과에 대해 검토하였다.

Fractal mathematics is being highlighted as a research method for classification of image. But the application of Fractal dimension(FB) has been required the complicated calculation method because of its complex repetition progressing. In this paper, it has been developed the new approach method to express the Fractal Dimension(FB) for aging level calculation and estimation system of outside insulator using special image processing algorithm. As a result after FD testing, the recognized aging estimation of FD has a very characteristics compared to the conventional visual inspection.

폴리머애자는 기존 자기애자에 비하여 많은 장점을 가지고 있어 세계적으로 사용량이 증가하고있다. 그러나 폴리머재질을 사용함으로써 열화과정을 거치게 되어 있다. 폴리머애자의 장기신뢰성 및 수명 예측을 위하여 븐 연구에서는 복합가속열화시험장치에 의한 모의 열화시험, 현장 애자의 주기적인 발취 시험, 옥외 실증시험장에서의 애자상태 감시 둥을 통하여 폴리머애자의 장기신뢰성을 검증할 계획이다. 또한 새로운 장기 신뢰성 평가방법에 대한 연구도 진행될 것이다.

배전계통에 분산전원이 급격하게 연계됨에 따라 각각의 분산전원을 어떻게 운영하는 것이 효율적인가에 대한 문제가 제기되고 있다. 현재의 분산전원 운영방식은 전압강하 해소 문제를 제외하고는 배전계통에 별다른 이득을 주지 못하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법의 하나로 마이크로그리드가 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 마이크로그리드 운영상의 전략 및 문제점을 사전 검토하기 위하여 개별 분산전원에 모델링을 실시하고 그 결과를 검증하였다.

국내 배전선로에서는 1999년부터 폴리머피뢰기를 설치하여 운영하고 있으나, 이들의 열화특성에 관한 데이터와 적합한 평가방법이 부족하여 장기적인 운영계획 수립이 어려운 상태이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 폴리머피뢰기의 현장 열화인자를 인가할 수 있는 복합가속열화 시험장치를 제작하고 국내 환경조건을 모의할 수 있는 시험주기를 개발하여 폴리머피뢰기 완제품에 대한 장기신뢰성 평가법을 제안하였다. 그리고 가속열화시험 및 현장설치에 의한 전기적, 화학적 특성변화를 분석하여 폴리머피뢰기의 열화정도를 평가함으로써 본 연구에서 제안한 평가기법의 실효성을 검증하고 국산 폴리머피뢰기의 유지보수에 필요한 특성 데이터를 제시하였다.

In order to investigate the effect of salinity level on tracking characteristics of polymer insulators for distribution power systems, tracking tests were performed by tracking wheel tester under different salt concentration. In this study, 6 kinds of polymer insulators were tested under 2200 ${\mu}\textrm{s}$/cm and 4000${\mu}\textrm{s}$/cm salinity. The salinity level has a significant effect on the tracking characteristics. Namely, most polymer insulators showed the good tracking resistance in case of low salinity level. But, in case of high salinity level some polymer insulators showed the excessive erosion and tracking. These phenomena may come from the different aging mechanism. It can be concluded that too high salinity level is not desirable in aging test of polymer insulators.

This paper describes the characteristic analyses and a new design of the bushing for the pole transformers. The mechanical breakdown of the upper part of the bushing was frequently occurred. This caused the leakage of mineral oil, resulted in the interruption of electric power. Therefore, the bushings were investigated by the material analytical method and Finite Element Method. The analyses were performed by the Induced Coupled Plasma(ICP), X-ray diffraction(XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM), and Dielectric Thermal Analyzer(DETA). Also, the Von-Mises stress of the top part of bushing was determined by using ANSYS program. The Von-Mises stress of the newly designed bushing was reduced about 50%. Therefore, if we apply the newly designed bushing, the number of mechanical breakdown may be decreased.

국내 배전계통에 90년대 말부터 설치된 폴리머피뢰기를 발취하여 신품과 비교 시험을 하였다. 시험결과 현장 경년품에서 부분방전, 내열화성 시험, 절연행거의 특성 시험 둥에서 다수의 시료가 불량한 결과를 나타냈다. 이러한 평가결과 국산 폴리머피뢰기의 품질이 안정화되지 않고 있어 배전계통의 신뢰성을 저하시킬 우려가 있다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 한전에서는 폴리머 피뢰기의 품질인증 기준을 강화하여 이를 구매규격서에 반영하였다.

This paper provides the results of performance investigation of gas insulated switches(G/S) for distribution power system. In order to investigate anti-contamination capability of G/S we carried out electrical tests and material analysis on the body of G/S and it's accessories. Through this experiment we found out the lead cable of G/S had not anti-contamination capability and G/S had insufficient interval between each phase. In order to improve the performance of G/S for heavy contamination area it is indispensable to replace the lead cable to the new cable which has anti-contamination ability.

This paper describes the transient phenomena considering transformer model in combined distribution systems with power cables. To evaluate the overvoltage, the change of transformer model and system structure are considered. Transformer parameters calculated by BCTRAN of EMTP are considered to evaluate surge generation in underground distribution systems when underground distribution system has various parameters. It is evaluated that overvoltage value increases and decreases according to the structure of system. However it is confirmed that there is not much effect to overvoltage as transformer is operated in distribution line.
