수소연료전지 자동차 압력 용기용 전자밸브의 온도 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Temperature Characteristics of Automatic Valve for High Pressure Cylinder of FCV)

  • 수소연료전지 자동차 압력 용기에는 연료전지 스택으로 수소의 흐름을 제어하기 위해 전자 밸브가 부착되고 있다. 전자 밸브의 솔레노이드는 전기 신호에 의해 유로를 개폐하는 역할을 하며, 전원이 인가되는 시간이 경과함에 따라 온도가 상승하여 일정 온도에서 포화된다. 특히 온도의 상승은 솔레노이드의 흡인력을 감소시키므로 안정적인 수소 공급을 위해서 설계 시 포화 온도와 온도에 따른 흡인력 특성 파악이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 솔레노이드 설계 변수에 따른 포화 온도 계산식을 제안하고 열 유동 해석을 통해 타당성을 확인하였다. 또한, 온도에 따른 흡인력 변화를 분석하기 위해 전자기장 해석을 수행하였으며 온도 특성 실험을 통해 포화 온도와 흡인력 해석 결과를 검증하였다. 포화온도는 계산식과 해석결과를 비교하였을 때 $5.3^{\circ}C$, 해석 결과와 실험 결과를 비교하였을 때 $5.9^{\circ}C$의 오차가 발생하였으며, 흡인력은 1.0 N, 최대 2.1 N의 오차가 발생하였다.

  • 곡물선별기는 호퍼, 진동식 정량시료공급장치, 공급벨트 또는 슈트, 램프, 이미지 센서, 공기총, 제어장치로 이루어져 있고, 농산물 등의 제품속의 이물질이나 불량품을 선별해내는 장치로 최근의 국내외 식생활의 향상과 더불어 매우 부가가치가 높은 제품으로 평가받고 있다. 본고에서는 곡물선별기의 국내외 최신동향을 다루었으며, 곡물선별기에 있어 핵심부품인 이젝터 및 이젝터용 밸브를 집중적으로 조명하였다. 특히 솔레노이드 밸브를 대신하는 압전식 밸브의 타당성을 논하기 위하여 압전 액추에이터 설계/제작/실험결과 관련 정보를 수록하였다.

  • In this study, a hydraulic modulator of solenoid-flow type ABS, the master sylinder, and the wheel cylinder are modeled and simulated for increasing pressure characteristics of the brake. Response can be predicted by external force of the the master sylinder and pulses to the solenoid valve as input. For a demonstration of simulation result, experiment is done under the same condition as simulation condition after experimental apparatus of 1/4 car model is constructed. When factors of flow control valve are changed, the effect of each factor to response, how to improve response, and the most critical factors are considered from simulated result of time constant.

  • The development of an accurate and energy saving pneumatic regulator that may be applied to a variety of practical pressure control applications is described in this paper. A novel modified pulse width modulation(MPWM) valve pulsing algorithm allows the pneumatic regulator to become energy saying system. A comparison between the system response of conventional PWM algorithm and that of the modified PWM(MPWM) algorithm shows that control performance is almost the same, but energy saving is greatly improved by adopting this new MPWM algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm are demonstrated through experiments with various reference trajectories.

  • The development of a fast, accurate, and inexpensive position-controlled pneumatic actuator that may be applied to a variety of practical positioning applications with various external loads is described in this paper. A novel modified pulse width modulation (MPWM) valve pulsing algorithm allows on/off solenoid valves to be used in place of costly servo valves. A comparison between the system response of standard PWM technique and that of the novel modified PWM technique shows that the control performance is significantly increased. A state feedback controller with position, velocity and acceleration feedback is successfully implemented as the continuous controller. Switching algorithm of control parameter using learning vector quantization neural network (LVQNN) is newly proposed, which estimates the external loads of the pneumatic actuator. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithms are demonstrated through experiments with various loads.

  • It has recently shown that a solenoid valve can be utilized in a hydraulic position-control system by discontinuous control methods. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of solenoid valves on the response characteristics of a hydraulic position-control system by applying two kinds of discontinued control methods i.e., Simple On-Off (SOF) and Pusating On-Off(POF) controls. Three types of solenoid valves i.e. low-frequency, closed-center type (LF/C), high-frequency, closed-center type (HF/C), low-frequency, tandem-center type(LF/T) were used in this study. Effects of loading conditions and control parameters on the response characteristics were experimentally examined and compared each other. Pressure transients within the actuator were also studied.

  • PLC (Power Line Communication) is the communication method using the existing power line installed in houses and offices to convert and transmit high frequency communication signal from tens of KHz to tens of MHz, and receive the filtered signal using high frequency filter The advantage of PLC is that PLC uses the existing power line installed in houses and offices so it does not require separate power line. Easy and convenient access using electric outlets is another advantage of PLC. However, PLC has some disadvantages such as limited transmission power, high load interference and noise, variable signal attenuation, characteristic of impedance, and selective possibility of frequency property. We designed the boiler temperature control system unit by using the PLC modem. We can avoid unnecessary heating of separate temperature control unit, and save the cost accordingly control stability of the proposed system is proven through the experiment.

  • A tractor is a farm vehicle that is designed to provide a high tractive effort at low speed. It is used for versatile agricultural tasks such as hauling a trailer, tillage, mowing and construction work. As the intensity of work increases, tractors equipped with automatic transmission become popular due to the work convenience. Though manual and power shuttle transmissions are produced by domestic corporations, development for full-automatic power shift transmissions has never been challenged, and so related technology level is quite low. This paper gives a survey of the automatic transmissions from advanced foreign company, which includes layout of gear train, the way hydraulics controls clutches and brakes, electronic control system. The results are expected to be utilized as a basis in the development of original power train design for tractor.

  • In this paper, the experimental modeling of the force between permanent magnet and iron-core solenoid is suggested for more accurate control of 3 D.O.F. motor using the electromagnetic force. In the case of iron-core solenoid, the general equation of solenoid cant be used simply because of its nonlinearity. Therefore, the magnetic flux density is estimated through the concept of equivalent permanent magnet. The force distribution between permanent magnet and iron-core solenoid is more dependent on the magnetization of iron core caused by the permanent magnet than any other parameters. Therefore, the equation of the force estimation between these magnetic systems can be modeled by the experimental function of the magnetization of iron core. Especially, if the distance between iron-core solenoid and permanent magnet is far enough, the force equation through experiment can be expressed from only the current of coil and the distance between iron-core solenoid and permanent magnet. It means that Coulombs law can be used for magnetic systems and it is validated through the experiment. Therefore, force calibration is performed by the concept of Coulombs law.
