압력제어솔레노이드밸브를 이용한 직접구동 방식의 유압회로에 의한 자동변속기의 변속품질 향상에 관한 연구

  • This paper suggests direct-acting hydraulic circuit to control clutches and brakes in automatic transmission. As only one pressure control valve controls the pressure of several friction elements with accumulators in conventional hydraulic circuit, the controllable range is limited. In addition, it is difficult to control the fine timing between apply clutch and release clutch. So, we designed new method to control the pressure of clutch which uses ressure control valve and pressure control solenoid valve independently in each friction element. through this structure improvement of hydraulic circuit, we can control the pressure of clutches and brakes finely and fine timing of between apply clutch and release clutch.

  • This paper presents an experimental characteristics of electro-hydraulic proportional pressure control valve. In this study, poppet and valve body which are assembled into the proportional solenoid were designed and manufactured. The constant force characteristics of proportional solenoid actuator in the control region should be independent of the plunger position in order to be used to control the valve position in the fluid flow control system. The stroke-force characteristics of the proportional solenoid actuator is determined by the shape (or parameters) of the control cone. In this paper, steady state and transient characteristics of the solenoid actuator for electro-hydraulic proportional valve are analyzed using finite element method and it is confirmed that the proportional solenoid actuator has a constant attraction force in the control region independently on the stroke position. The effects of the parameters such as control cone length, thickness and taper length are also discussed.

  • 최근 사물인터넷 기술은 4차 산업혁명을 이끌 차세대 성장기술로 많은 분야에서 기술도입과 융합을 시도하고 있다. 장난감 시장 역시 사물인터넷 기술 도입으로 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 특히, 단순한 조작 위주의 장난감을 스마트 기기, 센서 등과 연동하여 원격제어를 하고, 부가 정보를 축적하여 활용함으로써 사장되었던 많은 장난감들이 새로운 놀이도구로 재생산되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 놀이기구였던 팽이를 새롭게 사물인터넷 기반 스마트 팽이로 제작하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 스마트 팽이는 초소형 아두이노 보드를 장착하고 스마트폰과 통신이 가능하도록 하여 회전 및 충돌 정보를 스마트폰으로 전송하도록 한다. 또한, 스마트 팽이에 솔레노이드를 이용한 점핑 모듈을 추가하고 스마트폰에서 점프 명령을 내릴 수 있도록 함으로써 게임 참여자의 직접 제어가 가능한 스마트 팽이 대전 게임을 구현할 수 있도록 한다.

Analysis of Dynamic Characteristics and Performance of Solenoid Valve for Pressurization Propellant Tank (추진제탱크 가압용 솔레노이드밸브의 작동특성 분석 및 해석)

  • A 2-way solenoid valve regulates to maintain the pressure of ullage volume of propellant tanks when the command is given by control system for the liquid-propellant feeding system of space launch vehicle. The simulation model of solenoid valve for pressurization is designed with AMESim to verify the designs and evaluate the dynamic characteristics and pneumatic behaviors of valve. To validate a valve simulation model, the simulation results of their operating durations of valve by AMESim analysis are compared with the results of experiments. Using the model, we analyze performance of valve; opening/closing pressure, operating time on various design factors; shape of control valve seat, basic valve seat, rate of sealing diameter. This study will serve as one of reference guides to enhance the developmental efficiency of ventilation-relief valves with the various operating conditions, which shall be used in Korea Space Launch Vehicle-II.

자기장을 인가한 솔레노이드형 유도 결합 플라즈마 장치에서의 전자 싸이클로트론 공명 플라즈마 특성

  • 약한 자기장 (~20 G)이 인가된 유도 결합 플라즈마 장치는 고효율, 높은 균일도의 플라즈마를 생성할 수 있다. 그러므로 이 장치에 대한 변수 제어뿐만 아니라, 전자 싸이클로트론 공명(Electron cyclotron resonance) 현상에 의한 방전 특성에 대한 연구는 매우 중요하다. 그에 연관된 여러 연구가 있었지만, 대부분의 연구는 평판형 유도 결합 플라즈마에서 진행되었다. 그에 따라서, 본 연구는 솔레노이드 형태의 유도 결합 플라즈마 장치에서 플라즈마 변수에 대한 약한 자기장의 영향을 살펴보았다. 실험에 사용된 인가주파수는 13.56 MHz에서 27.12 MHz였으며, 다양한 압력과 전력에서 실험이 진행되었다. 이러한 솔레노이드 형태의 유도 결합 플라즈마에서의 플라즈마 변수는 국부적인 특성을 보였으며, 평판형 유도 결합 플라즈마와 비교/분석을 진행하였다.

  • Electronic of military vehicle that had relied on pure machinery system is ongoing. A large part of electronic of small-sized military vehicle has been already commercialized, which will expand to large-sized military vehicle field. Design of solenoid valve for automatic transmission is significantly important for stable driving performance of military vehicle. This research aims to develop simulation method which is capable of predicting performance of solenoid valve quantitatively according to its variation of ATF temperature. The research has been conducted in line with Maxwell, a magnetic field analysis program, and AMESim, a hydraulic analysis program. After simulation, it turned out to have been very similar to the test result in temperature range which excludes high temperature (over $120^{\circ}C$) and extremely low temperature (below $-20^{\circ}C$).

  • As the analysis and design technologies for electro-magnetic actuation has advanced over the years, proportional solenoid valve is gaining acceptance in wide range of industrial and commercial applications because of its superior characteristics over the conventional AOV or MOV, such as improved performance, reduced maintenance costs. This research deals with the position controller design of two-stage flow control solenoid valve. Investigation of steady-state characteristics and dynamic model identification for pilot disc is performed. Least square method to minimize the error magnitude of frequency response between the closed-loop and target system is applied to the design of PI-controller gains. From the experiments of step and frequency response, it is concluded that the controller meets the performance specification of target system, which verifies the usefulness of controller design method for proportional solenoid valve.

  • Dynamic flow characteristics of a solenoid valve are affected by pressure difference in inlet and outlet of orifice, gas temperature, and supply voltage of a coil. In this paper, the dynamic flow characteristics for deviations of various conditions are studied Static and dynamic flow for variation on-time of a solenoid valve open signal are measured in basic bench test. The solenoid valve is applied to a compressed natural gas(CNG) engine test for validation of flow control performance. The experimental results show that flow of high pressure gas can controlled precisely by using a solenoid valve.
