The Comparative Study of Software Optimal Release Time Based on Intensity Function property (강도함수 특성에 근거한 소프트웨어 최적 방출시기에 관한 비교 연구)

  • In this paper, we were researched decision problem called an optimal release policies after testing a software system in development phase and transferring it to the user. The applied model of release time exploited infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process This infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The intensity function used Gompertz, Preto and Log-logstic pattern which has the efficient various property. Thus, optimal software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time.

  • 소프트웨어 버스마크는 프로그램을 식별하는데 사용될 수 있는 프로그램의 고유한 특징을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 자바 메소드의 정적 트레이스 정보에 기반한 자바 버스마킹 기법을 제안한다. 정적 트레이스는 런타임 실행 절차를 반영한다는 점에서 동적 버스마크의 장점이 있고, 정적 분석으로 추출하기 때문에 라이브러리나 함수 단위에 적용가능하다는 정적 버스마크의 장점도 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 버스마킹 기법을 평가하기 위해서 서로 다른 프로그램을 구별할 수 있는 신뢰도와 프로그램 최적화나 난독화에 견딜 수 있는 강인도에 대한 실험을 하였다. 실험 결과로부터 본 논문에서 제안하는 버스마크가 신뢰도를 유지하면서 기존 방법보다 강인한 버스마크임을 확인할 수 있다.

World Sense Disambiguation using Multiple Feature Decision Lists (다중 자질 결정 목록을 이용한 단어 의미 중의성 해결)

  • This paper proposes a method of disambiguating the senses of words using decision lists, which consists of rules with confidence values. The rule of decision list is composed of a boolean function(=precondition) and a class(=sense). Decision lists classify the instance using the rule with the highest confidence value that is matched with it. Previous work disambiguated the senses using single feature decision lists, whose boolean function was composed of only one feature. However, this approach can be affected more severely by data sparseness problem and preprocessing errors. Hence, we propose multiple feature decision lists that have the boolean function consisting of more than one feature in order to identify the senses of words. Experiments are performed with 1 sense tagged corpus in Korean and 5 sense tagged corpus in English. The experimental results show that multiple feature decision lists are more effective than single feature decision lists in disambiguating senses.

  • This paper proposes an approach integrating multiple segmentation methods in a systematic way, which can improve overall accuracy without deteriorating accuracy of highly confident segments of boundaries generated by constituent methods. A segmentation method produces boundary segments, which are then evaluated with an evaluation function considering pros/cons of the current and next methods to apply. Boundary segments with low confidence are replaced by a next method while the other segments are kept. These steps are repeated until all segmentation methods are applied. The proposed approach is implemented for the segmentation of muscles in the Visible Human color images. A Balloon method, a minimum cost path finding method, and a Seeded Region Growing method are integrated. The final segmentation results showed improvements in both overall evaluation and segment-based evaluation.

  • In this paper, make a study decision problem called an optimal release policies after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user. When correcting or modifying the software, because of the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software, infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process models presented and propose an optimal release policies of the life distribution applied log-logistic distribution which can capture the increasing! decreasing nature of the failure occurrence rate per fault. In this paper, discuss optimal software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, make out estimating software optimal release time.

  • Retest arises when attemptint to validate code modifications. This paper proposes a retest methodology which explicitly defines the amount of retesting to be performed for any given code change. In order to minimize the objective function, we use the set/use matrix through analysis of data dependence as well as the connectivity, reachability, and test case/reference matrix through program control flow analysis. The value of objective function will give the minimum number of test cases necessary to assure the proposed methodology, we develope the retesting tool for generating mininum test cases based on the function.

  • 본 논문에서는 탐색 영역과 특징의 가중치를 동적으로 조절하여 블록 단위의 움직임 벡터를 추출하는 활동적 블록 정합 알고리듬을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리듬은 탐색 영역의 중심 위치를 결정하기 위해 시간에 따른 블록의 동작 변화는 작다고 가정한다. 그리고 탐색 영역의 크기는 공간적으로 인접한 블록들의 신뢰도에 따라 조절된다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리듬은 다중 특징을 사용하는 블록 정합 알고리듬으로 블록 정합 시 특징의 기여 정도를 나타내는 가중치를 블록 안에서 각 특징이 가지는 구분력에 따라 자동으로 설정하는 정합 유사 함수를 사용한다. 실험 결과는 본 논문에서 제안한 블록 정합 알고리듬이 기존의 알고리듬 보다 정확하게 움직임 벡터를 추출함을 보여준다.

  • 대량의 말뭉치(corpus)로부터 구문 정보나 의미 정보를 컴퓨터를 사용하여 자동으로 발췌하려는 연구가 활발하다. 그러나 실용적인 자연언어처리 시스템이 되기 위해 필요한 망라성(coverage)과 견고성(robustness)을 갖기 위해 어느 정도 규모의 말뭉치가 필요한지에 대한 연구는 극히 미비하다. 본 연구는 '우리말큰사전'상의 주요 4가지 품사에 속하는 단어들을 중심으로 상이 단어(different words) 수와 말뭉치 크기간의 상관관계를 통계적으로 고찰하여 수학적 예측함수(estimating functions)를 구한다. 그리고 이를 통해 자료 빈약성(data sparseness)현상을 타당한 수준으로 감소시켜 말뭉치를 기반 자연어처리의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해 요구되는 말뭉치 크기를 예측한다. 또한 예측된 말뭉치 크기를 근거로 합리적인 말뭉치 구축 방법을 제안한다.

Comparative Analysis on the Attributes of NHPP Software Development Cost Model Applying Gamma Family Distribution (감마족 분포을 적용한 NHPP 소프트웨어 개발비용 모형의 속성에 관한 비교 분석)

  • In this study, the attributes of the NHPP software development cost model applying the Gamma family distribution (Erlang, Log-Logistic, Rayleigh) were newly analyzed, and after comparing with the Goel-Okumoto basic model to verify the properties of the model, the optimal model was also presented based on this. To analyze software reliability, failure time data that occurred randomly during system operation was used, and the calculation of the parameters was solved using the maximum likelihood estimation. As a result of comprehensive evaluation through various attribute analysis (mean value function, development cost, optimal release time), it was confirmed that the Rayleigh model had the best performance. Through this study, the attributes of the software development cost model applying the Gamma family distribution, which has no previous research case, were newly identified. Also, basic design data could also be presented so that developers can efficiently utilize this research data at an early stage.

  • Software reliability in the software development process is an important issue. Software process improvement helps in finishing with reliable software product. Infinite failure NHPP software reliability models presented in the literature exhibit either constant, monotonic increasing or monotonic decreasing failure occurrence rates per fault. In this paper, we were proposed the reliability model with the exponential and inverse exponential distribution, which made out efficiency application for software reliability. Algorithm to estimate the parameters used to maximum likelihood estimator and bisection method, model selection based on mean square error (MSE) and coefficient of determination($R^2$), for the sake of efficient model, were employed. Analysis of failure, using real data set for the sake of proposing the exponential and inverse exponential distribution, was employed. This analysis of failure data compared with the exponential and inverse exponential distribution property. In order to insurance for the reliability of data, Laplace trend test was employed. In this study, the inverse exponential distribution model is also efficient in terms of reliability because it (the coefficient of determination is 80% or more) in the field of the conventional model can be used as an alternative could be confirmed. From this paper, the software developers have to consider life distribution by prior knowledge of the software to identify failure modes which can be able to help.
