Education plan for informatics gifted using SMART education methods (SMART 교육 방법을 활용한 정보영재의 교육방안)

  • 스마트 기기와 무선 네트워크의 발달은 정보에 대한 접근과 활용방식의 변화, 지식을 생산하고 공유하는 방식의 변화를 가져왔다. 이러한 교육환경의 변화 속에서 정보영재 학생들을 효율적으로 가르치기 위해서는 적절한교육방법의 변화가 필요하다. 하지만 정보영재의 교육과정을 살펴보면 여러 가지 응용소프트웨어 사용 방법이 교육과정에 포함되어 있다. 이러한 응용소프트웨어 사용 방법은 학습활동에 필요한 문제해결의 도구로 사용될 수 있지만 정보영재 학생들에게 협업 능력 등 미래사회에 필요한 학습자 능력을 향상시키는 데에는 부적합하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SMART 교육 방법을 활용한 정보영재 교육 방안을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 정보영재 학생들에게 미래사회에 필요한 협업, 의사소통능력, 사고력, 창의력을 신장시키는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 추후에 정보영재 학생을 위한 SMART 교수학습 모델에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

Analyzing Elementary Student Experience on Software Education: Based on Computational Thinking Framework (컴퓨팅사고 프레임워크 기반 초등 소프트웨어교육 경험 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse of elementary student experience in software education based on computational thinking framework. A total of 27 students (5th grade) were interviewed who took software education during 4 months in A elementary school which located in Seoul. The findings revealed were as follows: First, the elementary learners were able to perform scratch projects and learn basic concepts for computing thinking. elementary students' studied basic concepts for computational thinking by the process of carrying out their Scratch project. Second, elementary learners were able to confirm the execution of computing accidents in the process of implementing scratch projects. Third, elementary students had change in creative expression and interactive connectivity in terms of learners' computing thinking. The result of this study is meaningful in that it analyzes the educational experience of elementary school students qualitatively and suggests the direction of software education for enhancing computing thinking ability.

Development of Debugging Tasks and Tool for Process-centered Assessment on Software Education (소프트웨어 교육에서 과정중심 평가를 위한 디버깅 과제 및 도구 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a debugging task to support process-centered assessment on software(SW) education and to develop a service site. Achievement criteria for programming in elementary and middle school SW curriculum consists of control structures such as repetition and condition, and elements such as variables and input/output. In order to apply the process-centered assessment presented by the Ministry of Education, it is necessary to present tasks that can be used in the actual classroom environment and to consider connection with achievement levels. Therefore, in this study, 12 tasks for elementary school and 15 tasks for middle school were developed as debugging tasks and their validity was verified. As a result of conducting Delphi verification for validity, it was found that the level and content of the debugging task are appropriate. In addition, as a result of verifying the usability of the debugging challenge site by applying a heuristic evaluation method, it was found that it is suitable for use in the real educational field.

  • This research aims to investigate elementary school teacher's perception and needs of computer and information literacy education to provide basic materials so that computer and information literacy education converges with related subject and can be done in various educational contexts. In order to achieve the goal for this research, we conducted an online questionnaire survey on the current status of teachers, the perception and status of convergence education for computer and information literacy, and the needs for convergence education for computer and information literacy. As a result of the analysis, when the teacher majored in computer and information education or had experience in software education, the percentage of respondents who said that it is possible to converge for computer and information literacy is high. Also, It was found that the burden of following the class progress according to the curriculum was high. In the school environment, preparation for software tool was found to be insufficient. we suggested the strategic implications in terms of education direction, teacher training, education program, and learning tool based on the analysis results.

Study on the Improvement of Special Staff Training for Multiple Majors of Secondary Informatics Teachers (중등 정보교사 복수전공 특별양성과정의 개선방안)

  • As the 2015 Revised Secondary Information Curriculum was reorganized into a software-focused curriculum, a number of information teachers were needed. For this purpose, a special training course for multiple majors for secondary information teachers was established, and produced about 100 teachers with multiple majors. To improve this training program, this study surveyed the trainees joined in this program. As the result of the survey, there were findings that the short training period made it difficult to understand the overall content of the curriculum, and that they had a loss of learning due to the burden on another major. Therefore, long-term training is necessary to train informatics teachers, and by realizing the reinforcement of specialty through pre-training and main training, and by organizing a gradual curriculum, substantiality should be sought.

  • To produce quality software products, engineers must feel personally responsible for the qualify of products. Superior products are not produced by mistake; engineers must strive to do quality work. Every engineer is different and has own process improvement method. The Personal Software Process(PSP) is a self-improvement process designed to help software engineers control, manage, and improve the way they work. It is a structured framework of forms, guidelines, and procedures for developing software. Properly used, the PSP provides the historical data you need to better make and meet commitments and it makes the routine elements of your job more predictable and more efficient.   • 본 논문에서는 수학교육용 소프트웨어에서 확률적 현상을 경험한 이후 과학 그래프 해석에 있어 확률론적 관점을 도입하여 해석하는 학습자의 관점의 변화를 제시한다. 이 연구에서 11명의 고등학교 1학년 학생은 수학교육용 소프트웨어인 지오지브라(GeoGebra)를 활용하여 학습자가 평면 상에서 수직선이나 반원 위에 점을 찍는 활동을 통하여 기하학적 확률을 경험하였으며 이와 같은 경험을 토대로 물의 상평형 그래프를 해석하였다. 물의 상평형 그래프에 나타나는 얼음(고체), 물(액체), 수증기(기체)의 상태 변화에 대하여 각 상태가 나타나는 온도-압력의 영역 간의 경계에 대하여 학습자는 기하학적 확률을 적용하여 해석하려고 하였으나 경계선 위의 온도-압력의 물의 미시적 구조를 표현하는 과정에서 4명의 학생만 확률론적 관점으로 해석하고 그렇지 못한 학생들은 상태의 공존을 물질적 관점이나 과정적 관점으로 이해하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a design and development method of an elevator simulator that can be used as an embedded application layer software learning tool and a teaching and learning method using it. The simulator provides students with an environment to implement the operating principle and control method of the elevator system in the application layer excluding the issues of hardware and embedded OS layer. This allows students to have a reactive and real-time embedded application development experience. In addition, we present a four-week embedded application software training course with hands-on exercises that add step-by-step functionality using a simulator. As a result of training for actual students, we obtained 83.3 points of learning achievement score and proved that the curriculum has a significant effect on embedded application learning.
