  • 도심지 주택밀집지역에 설치운전중인 옥내변전소 주변압기실에서 발생되고 있는 소음은 변압기 전원주파수 2배 성분을 기저주파수로 하는 하모닉 성분의 소음을 발생시킨다. 이로 인하여 변전소 인근주민들의 변압기 소음으로 인한 민원이 발생하고 있으며 변전소의 신설이나 기존 변전소의 변압기 증설 등으로 민원발생은 점차 증가될 추세에 있다. 본 연구에서는 주변압기실에서 공기풍도나 셔터를 투과하여 실외로 전달되는 소음을 효과적으로 저감시키는 방법론을 개발하였으며 주변압기실 셔터부분에는 흡/차음셔터를, 지하 공기풍도에는 변압기 소음주파수에 맞는 공명기를 적용하는 방법을 현장에 시범 적용하여 그 효과를 입증하였다.

Analysis of Reduction Effect of Inter-Floor Noise Using Active Noise Control (ANC) Technique (능동소음제어 기술을 이용한 층간소음 저감효과 분석)

  • In this study, the application of ANC (Active Noise Control) technology to address inter-floor noise was explored. To achieve this, an ANC system was developed to manage the heavy impact sound within the frequency range of 40 to 500 Hz. The ANC system utilized an adaptive filter employing a feedforward approach based on the Fx-LMS algorithm. To set up the ANC system, a comprehensive analysis of various variables within the system was performed using computational simulations. This process enabled the identification of optimal filter settings and system configuration arrangements. In addition, the ANC system was implemented in the inter-floor noise test room at the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL). Through a certified standard testing procedure, it was confirmed that the ANC system led to a 4 dB reduction in inter-floor noise when the system was activated compared to when it was turned off. The results of this study indicate that the developed ANC system has an effect significant enough to elevate the rating criteria by one level for heavy impact sound.

  • 본 논문에서는 765kV 송전선로의 일부구간에서 발생되고 있는 풍소음의 대책으로 개발된 저풍소음 도체를 소개하고 이 도체방식을 개발하기 위해 수행된 전기환경장해 및 풍소음 저감 영향에 대한 시험결과를 제시하고 있다. 저풍소음 도체는 우수한 풍소음 저감기능을 가지면서도 기존 전선에 비해 추가적인 전기환경 문제가 발생되지 않아야 하는데, 기존 전선과 달리 전선 주위에 돌기부가 있어서 전계 집중에 따른 환경장해 발생의 우려가 있다. 이러한 이유 때문에 전기환경 모의시험설비인 코로나 케이지를 이용한 코로나 발생 특성 시험을 수행하여 환경설계기준 만족 여부를 확인하였으며, 실규모 시험선로를 이용한 장기 실증시험을 실시하여 송전선로 주변에서 실제 발생 가능한 라디오 장해와 같은 전기환경 장해량에 대한 평가를 실시하여 풍소음 저감효과와 환경설계기준에 만족하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this study, numerical simulations for reducing noise between floors in an apartment building was carried out using Active Noise Control (ANC) technology. In order to examine the feasibility of using ANC to reduce noise between floors, accelerometers and microphones for noise collection were installed in the inter-floor noise test facility to measure noise and vibration caused by the impact ball drop test. By using the measured data, Filtered-x Least Mean Square (Fx-LMS) algorithm-based ANC simulations were carried out. In the simulations, after deriving optimal simulation conditions including the adaptive control convergence coefficient, the noise reduction effect was analyzed through numerical simulations using the number of installed accelerometers and speakers as variables. Finally, it was confirmed that the noise between floors could be reduced using ANC technology under limited conditions.

A Study on the Effects of Absorptive Treatments for the Highway Noise Barriers (도로교통소음의 방음벽 흡음효과에 관한 연구)

  • To mitigate excessive noise from highways, and high speed rail road, it is often necessary to construct a noise barrier. Absorptive barroer attenuation solution is obtained for the problem of diffration of a plane wave sound source by a semi-infinite plane. A finite region in the vicinity of the edge has an highly absorbing boundary condition ; the remaining portion of the half plane is rigid. The problem which is solved is a mathematical model for a hard barrier with an absorbing edge. If the wavelength of the sound is much smaller than the length scale associated with the barrier, the diffraction process is governed to all intents and purpose by the solution to a standard problem of diffraction by a semi-infinite hard plane with an absorbent edge. It is concluded that the absorbing material that comprises the edge need only be of the order of a wavelength long to have approximately the same effect, on the sound attenuation in the shadow side of the barrier. Traffic noise is composed of thousands of sources with varying frequency content. To simplify noise predictions when barriers are present, an effective frequency of 550Hz may be used to represent all vehicles. The wavelength of sound at f=550Hz for traffic noise is about 2 feet. According to the above conclusion, an absorptive highway noise barrier is only needed to cover to cover approximately a 2 foot length of absorbing material. It would be more economical to cover only the region in the immediate vicinity of the edge with highly sound obsorbent material.

  • 아이들 상태에서 차실 내에 불쾌감을 주는 매우 높은 크기의 소음이 발생하였다. 본 논문에서는 아이들 시 문제소음의 원인을 분석하고 저감하는데 필요한 관련이론의 적용과 이에 수반되는 데이터측정, 데이터처리 및 데이터 해석과정을 자세하게 기술하였다. 소음진동 측정 및 분석 결과 문제의 소음은 엔진의 회전 2.5차 성분을 가지고 구조기인소음이었다. 아이들 시 문제의 실내소음에 영향을 미치는 구조전달경로들의 기여도를 분석하기 위해 소음경로해석시험 및 모드시험을 실시하였다. 시험분석 결과에 따라 기여도가 놓은 배 기계 및 트랜스미션계의 진동 전달특성을 개선하므로써 만족할 수준의 소음 저감효과를 얻었다.

Transmission Noise Seduction Performance of Smart Panels using Piezoelectric Shunt Damping (압전감쇠를 이용한 압전지능패널의 전달 소음저감 성능)

  • The possibility of a transmission noise reduction of piezoelectric smart panels using piezoelectric shunt damping is experimentally studied. Piezoelectric smart panel is basically a plate structure on which piezoelectric patch with shunt circuits is mounted and sound absorbing materials are bonded on the surface of the structure. Sound absorbing materials can absorb the sound transmitted at mid frequency region effectively while the use of piezoelectric shunt damping can reduce the transmission at resonance frequencies of the panel structure. To be able to reduce the sound transmission at low panel resonances, piezoelectric damping using the measured electrical impedance model is adopted. Resonant shunt circuit for piezoelectric shunt damping is composed of register and inductor in series, and they are determined by maximizing the dissipated energy throughout the circuit. The transmitted noise reduction performance of smart panels is investigated using an acoustic tunnel. The tunnel is a tube with square crosses section and a loud-speaker is mounted at one side of the tube as a sound source. Panels are mounted in the middle of the tunnel and the transmitted sound pressure across panels is measured. Noise reduction performance of a smart panels possessing absorbing material and/or air gap shows a good result at mid frequency region but little effect in the resonance frequency. By enabling the piezoelectric shunt damping, noise reduction of 10dB, 8dB is achieved at the resonance frequencise as well. Piezoelectric smart panels incorporating passive method and piezoelectric shunt damping are a promising technology for noise reduction in a broadband frequency.

자동차의 실내소음에 대하여

  • 이 글에서는 차실 내부 소음을 형성하는 각종 발생 형태 및 소음원, 전달 형식의 분류에 따라 특성을 간략히 살펴보았다. 각 소음원 및 전달경로의 특성을 확실히 이해하면, 현상을 파악하는 작업이나 소음제어 대책을 수립하는데에 있어서 매우 효과적으로 대처할 수 있다. 이 글에서는 소음 저감 대책에 관하여 논하지는 않았지만, 소음발생 기제(mechanism)에 대한 근본적 원인을 포함하고 있으므로 각 소음 문제에 대한 대책을 수립하는데 있어서 저감 방향을 설정하는 것은 실제 구조 에 대한 기본 개념의 적용이라고 볼 수 있다. 한편, 차체의 용접 및 접착 상태, 부품의 제작 및 조립 상태, 철판 및 고무류의 제작 및 재료 상태 등에 의해서도 내부 소음의 특성이 상당이 틀려지게 되므로, 제품 및 공정의 설계자는 제작에 참여 하는 인원의 숙련 상태에 관계없이 일정한 수준의 소음 품질이 확보 될 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 기울여야 하고, 제작 근로자들도 세심한 정성을 쏟아야 일관성 있게 조용한 차를 생산헤 낼 수 있다.

A Study on the Soundproofing Plate Techniques for Noise Reduction of Power Transformers (전력용 변압기 소음저감을 위한 차음판 기술에 관한 연구)

  • According to the increase of power demand and expansion of downtown, it is necessary to install transformers additionally in operating substations and construct substations in residential area. But the public complaint has been increased due to the transformer noise of the substation. KEPCO has used a vibration preventing pad, various soundproof walls and an enclosure to transformers in outdoor substations, and a soundproof door, shutter and wind-path soundproof equipment in indoor substations to block the sound propagation from the transformers. But these noise reduction methods are not satisfied. It should be considered to reduce transformer noise itself. To shut out sound emitted from transformers, we developed a soundproof technology that wall up reinforcing bar by steel sheet. For the practical application of it, we analyzed the vibration characteristics of a transformer tank and reduction of noise according to soundproof plate. As a result, it is confirmed that the technology can reduce 11 [dB] of transformer noise.
