Development of Noise-proof Facility Considered with Soundproofing Materials in a Tunnel Blasting (터널 발파에서 방음재질을 고려한 방음문 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated a sound reduction degree by each soundproofing materials and the sound pressure level of a main frequency range to develop soundproofing facilities installed for reducing sound in a tunnel blasting. The frequency range and sound pressure level of soundproofing materials(eg. sand and water etc.) mainly used at a working spot were measured using the experimental apparatus considered with blasting situation. The full scale pilot test was also carried out using developed soundproofing facilities in this study. And the performance of developed soundproofing facilities was analyzed. As a result, the developed soundproofing facilities using water in sound insulation materials could reduce about 10dB(A) of blasting noise in compare with the existing soundproofing facilities.

  • The noise management in the interior of the power plant is difficult because the interior is large and the noise level varies greatly from location to location. Therefore, a noise visualization system capable of analyzing the noise distribution is required in order to effectively manage the interior noise. A noise mapping system was developed that can model the inside of the turbine room and create a noise map by measuring the noise level at selected points. And in order to increase the reliability of the model, the model was modified through a method of comparing the noise map and the actual noise measurement results. Facility abnormalities can be determined through regular analysis of noise maps, and a method of effectively managing the interior noise is presented by comparing and analyzing the frequencies and levels of the current and previous noise at a specific point. By using the mapping system, it is possible to establish noise countermeasures that can improve the working environment, check the machine for abnormalities, and increase the reliability of the facility through preventive maintenance.

  • 도로교통소음은 많은 지역에 산재해 있으며 특히 주도로변에 거주하는 사람들에게 환경과 관련하여 매우 중요하다. 도로교통으로부터 소음수준을 계산하는데 몇가지 다른 방법들이 이용되고 있다. 이 방법들은 계산방법과 그래프식 그리고 컴퓨터 모델링 기술 등이다. 교통과 교통소음의 영향으로부터 소음을 계산하는 간단한 기술의 예측방법은 여기에 나타내었다. 이 TNS (traffic Noise Screening) 방법은 서로 다른 도로유형에 대한 일련의 도로교통소음레벨의 예측그래프로 전개된 것이다. 이 그래프는 Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) STAMINA 2.0을 이용하여 다양한 시나리오에 대한 소음 예측모델을 계산한 결과를 기초하였다. TNS에 도로의 기하학적 형태, 교통량 주행속도 그리고 도로중앙선의 거리등의 데이터를 입력시킨다. TNS 그래프는 소음영향과 연관된 교통소음예측에서 사용하는 경우 교통소음레벨의 계산을 쉽게 한다. 이 TNS 방법은 STAMINA 2.0과 같은 상세 모델링을 대신하지는 못하지만 상세 모델을 필요로 할 때 도움을 주는 도구이다 만약 소음계산들이 중요하거나 또는 시나리오가 보다 복잡하고 부가된다면 보다 상세한 모델링이 수행되어져 스크린 결과들이 나타난다.

Estimation on the Interior and Outside Aircraft Noise Level of Residential House (주거용 건물의 실내.외 항공기소음레벨 평가)

  • It is important to increase the sound proof performance of building for reducing the influence of aircraft noise on the bais of actual survey of existed buildings. The purpose of this study is to propose the basic data for designing sound insulation of residential house. In this study, field measurement of aircraft noise Interior and outside noise level difference were carried out for 7 days in 2 residential houses. As the result, aircraft noise levels showed to be Leq $71.8{\sim}74.5$dB(A), WECPNL $82.2{\sim}83.4$ and indoor noise level were NC-55 ${\sim}63$ over acceptable NC-30 in 2 measured houses. Noise reduction effect showed to be $15.8{\sim}23.1$dB(A) in measured houses, and houses with double window were preferable to those with single window in sound proof performance. The outside sound pressure level for residential house was a little different according to the type of source. In measuring by using aircraft noise it was effected by angle and distance from measuring point, to aircraft, window area, and sound absorption of room, and so on.

A Study on the Evaluation Metric of a Civil Aircraft Noise (민간항공기 소음평가 단위에 관한 연구)

  • The duration time of aircraft noise event is also an important factor for the evaluation of civil aircraft noise, which is considered as a notable characteristic of military aircraft noise. SEL is proved as a suitable noise metric for the measuring military aircraft noise of various flight pattern considering the duration time of noise event. This study reviews whether SEL is a suitable for measuring civil aircraft noise and study shows SEL is fairly compensating the duration time of civil aircraft noise event for the evaluation of aircraft noise. Noise metric for the evaluation aircraft noise based on SEL is more appropriate than based on $L_{MAX}$ for compensating duration time of noise event either military aircraft or civil aircraft. In this reason, current formula of WECPNL based on energy average of measured $L_{MAX}$ for the evaluation of aircraft noise impact in 'Test Method of Noise and Vibration of Korea' is recommended to be amended to formula of WECPNL based on energy average of measured SEL considering compensation of noise event duration time, if WECPNL is not based on measured EPNL, a metric compensating duration time.

  • Road traffic noise is not produced by any one factor rather it occurs as a composition of various factors. Its occurrence is made by running engine noise, tire frictional, and exhaust noise etc. The quality of the noise depends on the size of the vehicles, rotation and engine speed, vehicle load, package state of the road and incline etc. The occurrence of any noise level of heavy trucks appears louder than smaller vehicles and the noise levels produced differs according to speed and load etc between similar size vehicles. Other factors such as traffic density, average speed, mixing rate of heavy vehicles, and the distance between vehicles also generate road traffic noise. In this paper we examine 2, 4, and 6-lane roads in Jeonju. Consequently, this study examines the means used to measure road traffic noise. It was found that when there is a large traffic density and the average velocity is below 70 km/h, the noise level could receive a relative proper value by the current measuring means. But in the case of night-time, it was found that the current measuring method is inapposite.

  • 소음의 저감 대책은 소음원의 소음 감쇠, 소음 전달 경로의 소음 저감 및 수음자에 대한 대책 으로 나눌 수 있다. 여기에서 소음원의 소음 저감 대책을 세우기 위해서는 소음원의 주파수 특 성을 정확하게 분속해야 하고 이를 위해서는 자유음장이라는 공간이 필요하게 된다. 음향학적 으로 자유음장이란 점음원으로부터 무지향적으로 방사되는 음의 음압레벨(sound pressure level )을 따르는 음장으로 정의된다. 이는 음원으로부터 거리가 두 배 증가함에 따라 음압레벨이 6dB 감소함을 의미한다. 즉, 주변 소음으로부터 발생한 음이 다른 물체나 벽으로부터 반사된 반사음 이나 회절음의 영향을 받지 않는 음장을 말한다. 자유음장은 자연계에서 극히 제한적으로 존재 하지만 인간이 측정장비 및 측정 대상물을 이동시켜 이용할 수 없으므로 인공적인 시설로서 무 항실을 만들어 자유음장 환경을 조성한다. 이 글에서는 무항실의 특성 및 국내에서 시공되는 무향실의 설계 및 제작 과정을 간단히 소개하고 현재의 국내 무항실의 수준과 앞으로 나아갈 방항을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 아음속 충돌분류의 소음특성에 관한 연구로서 분류가 매끄러운 판(smooth plate)에 충돌 할 때 발생하는 충돌소음의 음압레벨, 지향성 그리고 음향파워 등을 구하기 위한 것이다. 연구방법은 Fig.1에서와 같이 노즐지름 d와 노즐과 평판과의 거리를 h라 할 때 노즐상류측에 있는 서지 탱크(surge tank)의 압력이 1.0atg에 도달한 상태에서 단계적으로 강하시키면서 h/d에 따른 충돌소음의 레벨을 측정하였다. 또한 탱크압력을 일정하게 유지시킨 상태에서 충돌소음의 지향성을 측정하고 음향파워를 계산하였다. 자유분류인 경우에도 같은 방법으로 측정하여 충돌음의 경우와 비교 고찰하였다.

  • 공항주변지역의 항공기 소음영향은 항공기 1대에 의한 소음크기나 시끄러움보다는 항공기가 계속하여 반복 운항하는데 더욱 큰 영향이 있다.그래서 ICAO가 1971년에 공포한 Annex 16 Aircraft Noise중에서 다수의 항공기에 의해 장기간 연속폭로 된 소음척도로서 EPNL에 항공기 운항회수와 운항시간대등을 고려한 WECPNL(가중 등가속 감각 소음 레벨 : Weighted Equivalent Continuous Perceived Noise Level)이 제안되었다.

The analysis of the relation between noise induced hearing loss and noise exposure (소음유발 청력손실과 소음폭로에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, the analysis of the relation between noise induced hearing loss and noise exposure is described for the A-weighted noise levels and exposure duration. The hearing loss and sensitivity threshold shift is investigated by changing the various parameters such as the effects of aging and noise exposure. Total hearing loss is proportional to a function of exposure level based upon the integral of pressure with time. If the noise exposure term is large so that the presbycusis may be neglected, the hearing loss due to aging and noise exposure becomes the noise induced hearing loss. It is shown that exposure to excessive noise can cause temporary loss of hearing that may become permanent if the exposure is prolonged or intense. An audiogram taken from a person suffering from noise induced hearing loss will usually show the greatest loss of hearing sensitivity in the 4kHz region, which is typically the region most sensitive to damage resulting from many types of industrial noise.
