내열합금 구조품에서의 국부적 소성변형과 이중후방응력 경화 모델 (Localized Plastic Deformation in Heat-Resistant Alloy and Combined Two-Back Stress Hardening Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 유한요소해석을 통해 연소시험 과정 중 발생한 내열 구조품의 파단현상이 분석되었다. 구조 불안정성은 소성변형으로 인한 것으로 이는 급격한 열하중의 변화에서 비롯된 것이다. 한편 소성변형 국부화 현상을 이해하기 위해 Armstrong-Frederick과 Phillips 경화식을 이용, 이중후방응력 구성방정식이 제안되었으며, 또한 본 모델은 연속체 파손역학과 조합되었으며 광범위한 소성변형거동을 보일 수 있다. 수치해석을 통해 소성변형 집중 현상은 지배적인 후방응력의 전개에 의존하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 물체 내에서의 파손 현상은 소성변형 집중을 가속화하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

  • The effects of nitrogen on the deformation behavior of duplex stainless steel have been studied The variation of strength was correlated with the characteristic microstructures. Analysis based on Hall-Petch relation confirmed that nitrogen enhances phase-boundary strengthening effect. The evolution of dislocation structure, slip traces, and misorientation distribution during deformation were also characterized to elucidate the effect of nitrogen on inelastic deformation mechanism.

  • The disappearance of continuous yielding and the formation of an extended region in engineering stress-strain curves at tempering temperatures of 673-873K is closely related to the reduction of mobile dislocations during tempering and dynamic recovery during tensile deformation. In addition, the occurrence of discontinuous yielding at tempering temperature above 923K would be attributed to the formation of new strain-free polygonal ferrite grain.

  • The sheet perforated with a uniform triangular pattern of round holes and subjected to in-plane stress f arbitrary biaxiality was investigated. The equivalent continuum approach was employed to develop a theoretical model for global analysis, which includes defining a yield criterion and the strain hardening in terms of apparent stresses and apparent strains. Finit element analysis and experiment tension test were performed to examine the validity of proposed yield criterion and strain hardening models of perforated sheets.

  • In the present investigation, recrystallization occurring during hot rolling of thick steel plate was predicted. The thermo-mechanical history of a material point was traced by the finite element method and the recrystallization was predicted by the Sellars equations. The investigation was performed for 4 different cases; two different pass schedules in conventional rolling and two different pass schedules in controller rolling. Variations of temperature, strain, strain rate and grain size were compared with each other. It was found out that the difference of grain size through thickness was more distinctive in the cases of controller rolling.

  • This paper presents the prediction of microstructure of Inconel 718 disk forgings. The experiments are carried out to examine the recrystallization ratio and grain growth in the forgings. In the experiments, cylindrical billets are forged by two operations with variations of forging temperature and reduction ratio of deformation. Also the finite element program, developed here for the prediction, is used for the analysis, and the results are compared with the experimental ones. It is noted that the comparison appears in sound agreement.
