A Study of Negative Interaction Between Customers for Proposing 'Evil Persona' ('사악한 퍼소나' 제안을 위한 소비자 간 부정적 상호작용 연구)

  • Due to recent increasing of tour, leisure industries, customer's usage of service became more grouped and customer-to- customer interaction became more important. Under these service environment, it is easy to find cases of damaging other customer's service experiences by some customers who use service in selfish manner. Customers called 'Jaycustomer' usually happen in low frequency, but they are serious service failure because they can deliver bad service experience. It seems previous service design tools couldn't handle these cases enough. So it will be good to reinforce to handle these incidents. This study was based on the empirical insights of service design case study by using 'evil persona'. Literature review and survey were performed to find out proper servicescape for 'evil persona'. From analysis, the service environmental factors which affect frequency of negative customer-to-customer interaction were selected. Also, many cases of such negative behavior were gathered and sorted to find types and patterns which affected by selected service environmental factors.

Analysis of Consumer Preferences with Regard to Sensory Quality Attributes of Korean Grapes (포도의 품질결정을 위한 소비자 선호요인 분석)

  • This study investigated consumer grape recognition and preference, to improve grape quality. The questionnaire explored consumption frequency, purchasing locations, amounts purchased, general preferences, seedless/seeded preference, and external/internal quality factors. Answers to 519 questionnaires were analyzed both descriptively and quantitatively using SPSS for Windows(Version 14.0). The principal results were as follows: 46.1% of respondents purchased at wholemarket; 38.5% purchased 3-5 bunches at any one time; 76% preferred grapes to other fruits; and 49.8% purchased bigger(and not smaller) grapes. Most customers preferred seedless grapes. The most important external quality factor was bunch fullness and the most significant internal factor was sweetness.

  • Due to the full revision of the Digital Signature Act (enforcement on December 10, 2020), various certificates are being released and competing in the market. Under fierce competition, the certificate market share of large IT platform companies is increasing, and it is predicted that they will eventually monopolize the market. Therefore, identifying the consumer's certificate choice factors and understanding the difference in importance between the choice factors are essential elements for establishing a company's strategy for the certificate market and product positioning, and are key points in setting the government's certificate policy direction. In this study, consumers' certificate choice factors were extracted based on the details of preceding papers and surveys, and based on the extracted choice factors, 4 choice factors (reliability of issuer, program installation, certificate usage method(how to use), versatility(where to use)) were identified through a Delphi survey. As a result of conjoint analysis by conducting a consumer survey with selected choice factors, the reliability of the issuer was found to be the most important utility value. In order of importance, the certificate usage method(how to use), program installation, and versatility(where to use) appeared.

  • Mooncakes are an important traditional food for the Mid-Autumn festival in many Asian countries, especially China. With the development of Chinese design, people pay more attention to the packaging design of mooncakes. Therefore, starting from the packaging design of mooncakes, this paper aims to study and analyze the preference of Chinese consumers for the packaging design of mooncakes and propose directional Suggestions for the packaging design of mooncakes. According to the market report of CNPP, the ten most popular mooncake brands in China are taken as the object, and four elements of packaging design, including brand, color, shape and material, are derived through preliminary research, and a questionnaire survey on the preferences of Chinese consumers is conducted. It is hoped that this paper can become the basic material for moon cake packaging design to improve consumers' preference, which will be helpful for specific packaging design schemes in the future.

  • This study is to find out how the activities of Corporate Citizenship based on Economics, Law, Ethics, Philanthropy affect the purchase intention of comsumer. The survey used a random sample of more than 400 people across Seoul and Kyunggi-do. The coding data selected was analyzed by Cronbach's alpha and factor analysis. And then the multi-regression analysis carried out and these results were impacted on all assumptions we set up originally.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to figure out present status of the cyberchondria in Korean optometry and present an appropriate countermeasure against it. Methods: We conducted a survey of consumer group and optician group about the cyberchondria, and analyzed its results. Results: In Korean optometry, a large difference of awareness of the on-line information was revealed between the consumer group and the optician group, so that we could know existence of the cyberchondria. Conclusions: We conclude that opticians' active consulting is the most proper and effective countermeasure against the cyberchondria.

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of the participation type of members of consumer cooperatives on social connectedness, collaboration intention and psychological well-being. For this, research hypotheses and models were developed from the theoretical background, and an empirical study was conducted with a survey. The results of this research are as follows: first, among the customer participation types, emotional participation and physical participation promoted social connectedness. Second, physical participation showed positive effects on collaboration intention. Lastly, social connectedness improved collaboration intention, and collaboration intention had significant effects on psychological well-being.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore attributes of trusted blog product-reviews and to examine the weight of each attribute. First, the attributes of trusted blog product-reviews were collected through consumer interviews. Second, the trust attributes were examined in terms of their relative importance. The results are: 1) Thirty-five of trust attributes were discovered and categorized into 'popularity', 'presence', 'attractiveness', 'trustworthiness', and 'expertise'. 2) In general, attributes reflecting usefulness, trustworthiness and attractiveness seemed the most important trust factors. 3) 'presence', which have not been highlighted so far in trust research, was emerged as an important trust factor in the web blog context. Theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

A Study on the Consumers' Trust Factors in Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰에 대한 소비자의 신뢰 요인 연구)

  • This paper tried to analyse the factors influencing consumer trust and the relationships between cause variables and results in Internet Shopping Mall. In order to do so, this paper tried to analyse the trust factors in TV Home Shopping as well as Internet Shopping Mall in terms of cyber markets both. There found six factors : perceived factor before purchasing, perceived factor after purchasing, perceived and emotional factors in the course of purchasing, positive and negative emotional factors after purchasing. These factors are correlated with Internet shopping variables and we can measure how Internet shopping variables can affect trust to the shopping mall. We can compare the trust factors of TV home shopping with those of Internet shopping mall and then we can activate Internet Shopping Mall. More implications of this study and further researches should be discussed in the future research.
