  • 무선 센서 네트워크란 센서를 통해 주변환경에 대한 정보를 수집하고 센서간의 무선 통신을 이용하여 다른 센서들과 정보를 나눔으로써 하나의 네트워크를 구성하는 것이며, 최근 기술 발전으로 인해 다양한 센서들이 널리 보급되면서 다양한 응용 분야가 등장하고 있다. 최근에는 다양해져가는 센서 네트워크에서 카메라 센서 기반 도로 감시 센서 네트워크에 대한 이슈가 대두되고 있으며, 도로 감시 센서 네트워크의 영역이 점점 대규모화가 되면서 최소의 네트워크 구축 비용으로 센서 네트워크의 요구사항을 만족하는 센서 배치 문제에 관심이 증가되고 있다. 본 고에서는 카메라 센서 기반 도로 상황을 감지하는 네트워크에서 최소의 네트워크 구축비용으로 이벤트 감지에 대한 성능을 보장하는 센서 배치 기법을 고려한다. 이를 위해 카메라 센서의 이벤트 전달 및 감지 성능을 만족하는 센서간의 간격을 도출하여서 이를 센서 배치에 적용한다.

A Study on Point Traffic Sensors' Placement for Detecting the Dilemma Zone Problem (딜레마 구간 검지를 위한 지점교통센서 배치에 관한 연구)

  • This paper suggests a sensor's placement method for detecting the dilemma zone problem when real-time driver's safety service is provided at signalized intersections by multiple pointed traffic sensors using USN environments. For detecting the dangerous situations from vehicles accelerating through yellow intervals, red-light running and stopping abruptly like as dilemma zone problem, VISSIM(microscopic, behavior-based multi-purpose traffic simulation program) is used to perform a real-time multiple detection situation by changing the input data like as various inflow-volume, design speed change, driver perception and response time. As a result, the optimal interval of traffic sensors is 20~27m, and the initialized sensor location from stop-line is different according to road design speed. Moreover, the pattern of detection about dilemma zone is also different according to inflow-volumes. This paper shows that the method is useful to evaluate the sensor's placement problem based on micro-simulation and the results can be used as the basic research for USN services.

  • 영구자석을 사용한 마커가 설치된 자기장 이동 경로에서 이동 로봇의 경로 인식을 위한 위치인식 시스템이다. 저가의 홀센서를 일정 간격의 열로 배치한 센서를 설계 제작하고, 그 센서를 이용하여 측정된 마커의 자계 값을 이용하여 경로상의 위치를 인식할 수 있도록 하였다. 마커의 극성을 인식하는 새로운 방법을 제시하고, 인식된 극성을 코드화하여 경로상의 특이점들에 배치함으로써 경로 이동 중에 그 점들의 위치를 인식하도록 하였으며, 로봇은 그 위치에서 미리 정해진 행동을 하도록 프로그램 하였다. 센서들 간의 통신 방법을 논하였고, 각 센서들에서 얻어진 정보로부터 이동 로봇의 경로상의 위치인 측방향 변위 오차와 방향각 오차를 기하학적으로 산출한다.

  • 이동하고자 하는 경로에 자석 마커를 설치하고 마커의 자계를 인식하여 경로를 추종하는 이동 로봇의 경로 제어시스템이다. 마커설치 간격 확장에 따른 센서 배치를 제안하였다. 마커의 극성을 서로 약속된 방법으로 코드화 하여 설치하고, 경로 추적 중에도 마커의 자계 방향을 2진 코드로 인식하여 자계 경로로부터 경로 정보를 수신할 수 있도록 하였다. 소형 이동 로봇 실험 장치를 설계 제작하고 실험을 한 결과 제작된 이동 로봇은 마커로 만들어진 이동 경로를 중앙으로부터 오차 범위 이내에서 이동함을 확인하였고, 이동 경로의 일부 구간에서는 마커의 극배치를 이용한 코드를 주행 중에 정확히 인식함을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, the pipeline system for waste transportation has been increasingly constructed as new solution for the waste collection and disposal system by constantly increasing domestic waste which issued as social problem. The pipeline system is constructed through long distance, so proper long-term monitoring system is necessary which available to detect the damage location for the effective maintenance. In this paper, the experimental study is carried out to evaluate the applicability of optical strain gauge sensor based on FBG for the long-term monitoring system. Three test parameters such as pressure leaking, blockage and deformation are considered as typical damages for real-scale pipeline test specimen. In order to measure flexural and volumetric strain and temperature, three FBG sensors are installed at each monitoring sections. From the test results, this study suggested effective methods of sensor installation and arrangement. Also the sensor spacing for the design of monitoring system using FBG sensor is derived by the correlation of distances from deformation between sensor responses.

  • To analyze the performance of array shape estimation techniques using auxiliary sensors, the appropriate number and the positions of auxiliary sensors are investigated. Also, a post-processing technique based on spline interpolation is proposed to improve the performance of array shape estimation. The simulation results showed that when auxiliary sensors are arranged uniformly, the performance of shape estimation is better than other arrangements of auxiliary sensors. Also, the proposed post-processing technique improved the performance of the existing shape estimation method, such as Kalman filter method.

  • This paper is proposed that roadway recognition performance improvement for autonomous vehicle using magnetic markers that are embedded along the road center and the sensors mounted on a vehicle, and which changing of magnetic field that is measured along with vehicle driving. For Retrenchment of equipment cost, interval of markers is more expensive than existing method. In order to this, This paper is proposed that interval of markers is founded using magnetic field analysis, and which arrangement method of six magnetic sensors and control method of neural network. This paper is carried out magnetic field analysis, the acquiring of the training patterns, the training of the neural network and composition of steering control, and is verified that roadway recognition performance can improve using computer simulation with proposed methods.

Clustering for Improved Actor Connectivity and Coverage in Wireless Sensor and Actor Networks (무선 센서 액터 네트워크에서 액터의 연결성과 커버리지를 향상시키기 위한 클러스터 구성)

  • This paper proposes an algorithm that forms the clusters on the basis of hop distance in order to improve the actor coverage and connectivity in the sink-based wireless sensor and actor networks. The proposed algorithm forms the clusters that are distributed evenly in the target area by electing the CHs(Cluster Heads) at regular hop intervals from a sink. The CHs are elected sequentially from the sink in order to ensure the connectivity between the sink and the actors that are located on the CHs. Additionally, the electing are achieved from the area of the higher rate of the sensors density in order to improve the actor coverage. The number of clusters that are created in the target area and the number of the actors that are placed on the positions of the CHs are reduced by forming the clusters with regular distribution and minimizing the overlap of them through the proposed algorithm. Simulations are performed to verify that the proposed algorithm constructs the actor network that is connected to the sink. Moreover, we shows that the proposed algorithm improves the actor coverage and, therefore, reduces the amount of the actors that will be deployed in the region by 9~20% compared to the IDSC algorithm.

  • The main sensor of AGV is the guide sensor in order to detect the path, and the sensor consists of 8 or 16-magneto resistance devices arranged by with 10mm. In controlling the AGV posture by using the sensor, AGV is occurred left/right shaking frequently. So, for driving stability of AGV, An accuracy of the sensor should be improved. Therefore, this study proposed sensor signal processing method to improve accuracy of guide sensor, and implemented. The accuracy of sensor in experimentation showed 2.84[mm]. In designing the sensor for controlling AGV posture, the proposed method will be effective.

  • In this paper, we propose a blind estimation scheme for the antenna spacing of nonuniform linear array MIMO radar using distributed electronic sensors based on ESPRIT. We present a blind method to separate orthogonal waveforms of a MIMO radar based on the antenna spacing estimation. The estimated orthogonal waveforms of a MIMO radar can be used for disabling opponent MIMO radars.
