The purpose of this study is to show typology of virtual world and to look out how virtual world develops especially in Korea. As paradigm changes, the scientific virtual reality and world wide web are absorbed into 3-D virtual world in Metaverse. The metaverse is the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual space. There are two categories of virtual world, the Ludic Virtual World which is oriented from games like MMORPGs and the Social Virtual World which is oriented from network communication system. Compared to North America and Europe, the Ludic Virtual World and game society grow and develop quickly in Korea. It's because Korean users prefer the online environment where millions of people live out a collective fantasy existence.

This study examines the emerging global city-regions theory and suggests its implications for regional development policy in Korea. Global city-regions defined as an economic and political organization of metropolitan regions or a new scale of urban organization with polycentric structure, is appreciated as a new regionalist model of development in the globalization era. In Korea, the application of global city-regions model is required particularly for strengthening the international competitiveness of metropolitan areas except the capital region including Seoul, and resolving inequalities between the capital region and non-capital regions. However, Institutional revolution including consolidation of Shi(metropolitan area) and Do(province), and devolution should be preceded above all things to develop metropolitan cities such as Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon toward global city-regions.

세계 자동차타이어의 연간생산본수는 약 6억본으로 추산되고 있으나, 국별로 보면 미국이 전체의 1/2에 가까운 생산력을 갖고 있으며, 고무 소비량으로는 세계 제1위를 차지하고 있는 일본이 약 1/6에 가깝다. 금년도 세계의 고무 소비량은 연간 1,265만톤 예측(국제고무연구회)으로 5년만에 신기록을 세울 것으로 전망되며, 주요생산국은 미국, 일본 등을 포함한 세계 27개국이 주역으로 되어 있다. 여기서는 세계주요국자동차타이어기업중 일본의 8사를 제외한 미, 영, 불, 서독, 이, 가의 5개국 39기업의 업적(생산, 판매 등)과 그 나라의 자동차 1대당 교환본수, 주요기업의 동향 등에 대해서 비교검토 하였다.

지난 10월 13일부터 17일까지 개최된 세계 에너지 올림픽, 제22회 2013세계에너지총회가 90여 년의 총회 역사상 역대 최대 규모이자 최고로 성공적인 국제 행사로 평가 받으며 대단원의 막을 내렸다. 이번 대구 세계에너지총회에는 120개국에서 약 7,500명이 참가했으며, 일반 참가자들을 포함해 전시회 참관객은 약 3만 명이 방문, 73개국에서 272명의 연사가 참석했다. 금번 총회는 총회 역사상 최다 참가자, 최다 국가 장차관급 참석, 에너지업계의 최고위 연사 등 전 분야에 걸쳐 유례없는 기록을 남기며 세계에너지협의회 역대 최고의 총회로 꼽는 성공적인 총회로 평가 받았다.

세계경제는 1970년대에 시작된 인플레인션과 두 차례에 걸친 석유파동 및 주요국들의 대폭적인 재정적자 등 3대과제를 안고 있는 세계적인 동시불황을 겪고 있으나, 최근에는 구미를 중심으로 점차 그것을 벗어나고 있는 것으로 보인다. 이러한 시점에서 세계의 자동차 타이어수요는 매우 어려운 환경에 직면해 있다. 즉①주요국의 자동차사업의 저조,②70년대부터의 Radial화의 급속한 증가, ③2차에 걸친 석유파동, ④유가의 상승,⑤자동차 주행거리의 감소 등 여러가지 영향으로 자동차 타이어 수요는 세계적으로 감소추세에 있다.본고는 일본 자동차타이어 협회에서 이와같은 현황하에서 앞으로의 세계 자동차 타이어 산업은 어떻게 전개되어 갈 것인지 그 전망에 대해서 객관적으로 분석한 것을 요약정리한 것이다.

우리나라에는 세계에서 제일가는 단일 용암동굴인 빌레못동굴과 용암동굴계(시스템)로 세계 제일가는 만장굴동굴계 그리고 그 길이 세계 7위에 달하는 수산동굴등 실로 세계에 자랑할 수 있는 거대한 용암동굴 들을 지니고 있다. 이와같은 세계적인 동굴자원들을 우리는 그 길이나 규모에 있어서 세계 으뜸가는 것을 자랑하는데 그치지 말고 이들의 지형과 그 구조를 분석하여 이의 이용보전대책을 세울 수 있는 자료를 종합화하는 것이 시급하나 특히 오늘날 자연지형과 지물들의 합리적인 이용과 보전을 위하여 모든 노력을 다하여야 할 때이므로 여기에 만장굴을 중심으로 이들 용암동굴이 지니는 학술적 가치와 자원적 의의를 분석 구명하고 이들의 항구적인 개발과 보전을 병행시킬 수 있는 대책을 마련코자 이 논문을 쓰기에 이르렀다.(중략)

세계적으로 세계측지좌표계의 도입이 확대됨에 따라 우리나라도 2001년 측량법의 개정을 통해 현재의 지리정보 좌표계변환을 위한 노력을 시행하고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구에서는 세계측지좌표계 변환방법론, 변환사례 등을 검토 후 한국토지정보시스템 데이터를 대상으로 시범지역을 선정하여 변환실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 변환 후의 데이터는 국가GIS활용 및 업무지원을 위한 참조적 데이터로서 충분히 이용이 가능한 수준으로 도출되었다. 하지만 한국토지정보시스템 데이터의 세계측지좌표계로의 변환을 위해서는 각 지역별 변환계수를 산정할 필요가 있으며, 지적데이터가 가지고 있는 다양한 원점을 통일원점으로 변환되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 또한 마지막으로, 기존의 지적데이터가 가지는 다양한 문제점을 그대로 내포하는 수준으로 변환되었다. 따라서 한국토지정보시스템의 세계측지좌표계 변환을 위해서는 본 연구의 결과를 기초로 하여, 더 많은 대상지역에 대한 변환을 통해 오차와 오류의 유형별 원인 분석 후 한국토지정보시스템의 세계측지좌표계 변환의 체계적이고 계획적인 전략을 수립할 필요가 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 국가기준점체계의 세계측지계 전환에 따른 인천 연안지역의 환경지리정보 변환 방안을 연구하는데 있다. 이를 위해 세계측지계 변환 방안과 관련된 각종 자료를 수집 분석하여 환경지리정보의 세계측지계 변환을 위한 방안을 연구하였다. 환경지리정보들을 다양한 구축방법에 따라 다양한 형태로 제공되고 있어 일괄적은 변환에는 어려움이 있을 것으로 판단된다. 환경지리정보들을 변환하기 위해서는 우선 국토지리정보원의 수치지도의 세계측지계 변환 지침을 기준으로 원시자료부터 변환을 수행하여 환경지리정보를 다시 구축하는 방안과 기존에 구축된 환경지리정보를 변환하는 방안이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 새로운 측지좌표계 도입에 따른 환경지리정보의 세계측지계 변환 방안을 제시하고, 환경지리정보에 대하여 국가기준계의 세계측지계 전환에 능동적으로 대응하고 세계측지계 도입에 따라 예상되는 초기 혼란을 최소화 하고 향후 구축될 환경지리정보들의 정확도 향상의 기반을 조성 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Web 경계를 허무는 새 시대에 맞추어 라이프스타일은 급속히 변화하고 있다. 가상의 3D 복합 서비스는 현실과 다름없는 또 하나의 삶을 제공함으로써, 가상세계와 현실세계의 경계를 없애고 있고 이전 많은 사람들이 제안하고 예상했던, 현실의 정보가 가상세계에서 또한 다름 없는 데이터로 존재함으로써 가상세계와 현실세계 사이의 벽을 허물고 그 차이를 느끼리 못 하도록 하는 연구를 하고자 하였다. 우선 손쉽게 제시할 수 있는 실험을 통하여 그 가능성을 판단해 보고자 하였으며, 간단한 예로써 현실세계를 대표할 모바일 장비와 가상 현실세계의 대표적인 예인 SecondLife 두 가지 시스템의 접목을 통하여 가상현실 세계와 현실간의 데이터 공유 환경을 만들고 정보를 공유를 통하여, 얻을 수 있는 장점들과 활용방안에 대하여 찾고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the share of global citizenship education in the 2009 Revised Social Studies (geography area) School Curriculum of the Republic of Korea. I selected the achievement standards of the geography domain in the fifth and sixth grades as the subjects of analysis. The chosen subjects were examined using content analysis: I used KrKwic, a Korean language content analysis tool, to analyze the content and drew a semantic network of the analysis results using UciNet/NetDraw. I found that the geography domain of the 2009 Revised Primary School Curriculum included the concepts of and factors of global citizenship education. However, global citizenship education did not account for a major portion of the curriculum, and the curriculum achievement standards were noticeably nation-state centered. Global citizenship education factors were not closely associated with to other related factors in fact, they even revealed a isolated pattern. These findings suggest that the inclusion of global citizenship education in primary geography education is limited, because the connections between global citizenship education and related contents, such as the environment, sustainable development, conflict, and cooperation, are probably impeded. Globalization accompanies the transformation of territories, identities, and the relations between nation-states and the world, although nation-states continue to play a significant role in the globalized worlds. Therefore global citizenship education, a educational trend focusing on the global community, is particularly important and is required in the geography curriculum of the global era. I expect that the examination undertaken in this study to contribute to future curriculum revisions regarding globalizatin and global citizenship.
