In this paper, we proposed a mixed-mode s-parameter measurement system for measuring the performance of twisted pairs. A twisted pair is a balanced type component, its characteristics can not be directly measured using network analyzer, which is generally implemented as a unbalanced type. It is possible to convert between balanced signal and unbalanced signal by using a balun but it restricts the frequency range of the measurement system. The proposed system measures the performance of twisted pairs by measuring mixed-mode s-parameters using a 4-port vector network analyzer and a designed fixture, without using a balun. We measured the performance of a commercial Ethernet cable and compared with the results which measured by using baluns. The results showed that the proposed system is capable of measuring the performance of twisted pairs.

Performance of processing protocols is one most important goal in a network or systems constituting the network. Measurement of performance, thus, is an essential element to not only establish the network but also develop systems. A projection in vector mathematics is the transformation of points and lines in one plane onto another plane by connecting corresponding points on the two planes with parallel lines. This is a method, as an application of vector mathematics, which is widely used in engineering as well to consider elements dedicated to the measurement object. This paper proposes a sound methodology for measuring the performance of the SIP protocol, which is based on the projection. The SIP protocol is a typical standard protocol for call-processing in the internet telephony of Next Generation Convergence Network. Owing to use the projected protocol which excludes unnecessary operation paths, the methodology can be effective in implementation and resource utilization. This paper also presents a process based on the proposed methodology to measure the performance of a SIP proxy server.

본 논문에서 는 WAN 환경 에 서 의 선도시험망 기반 QoS테스트베드를 구성하고 차등화 서비스에 의한 QoS의 성능을 측정하였다. 전송율. RTT. 패킷 손실, FTP 소요시간을 대상으로 QoS 보장 서비스와 베스트-에포트 서비스에 대한 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 모든 측정 대상에 대하여 QoS 보장 트래픽이 좋은 성능을 보여주었으며, 특히 멀티미디어 어플리케이션의 비디오 트래픽에 대해서도 QoS 보장 서비스에 의한 전송서비스가 고품질의 영상을 제공하였다.

사용자의 빠르고 좋은 서비스 욕구에 따라 점자 음성, 데이터, 영상을 포함하는 광대역 정보전달의 필요성을 가속화 시켰고 기술적 측면에서 전송기술, 교환기술, 서비스 기술 등 기존의 통신망의 인프라를 고급화가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 사용자의 광대역에 대한 욕구를 가능하게 하는 VDSL (Very high bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) 집중화 장치의 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 구조의 설계 및 구현과, 구현된 시스템의 VDSL 성능 측정에 대하여 기술하였다. 성능 측정 시험은 거리에 따른 전송속도의 성능을 고찰하였고 이 결과를 바탕으로 VoD (Video on Demand)시험을 하여 시스템 기능이 정상적으로 수행되는 것을 확인하였다.

대규모 클라이언트 연결과 다량의 네트워크 트래픽을 고속으로 처리해야 하는 서버의 성능을 정확히 측정하기 위해서는 네트워크 트래픽 부하를 발생시키는 것도 중요하지만, 실제 상황과 같은 서버의 오버헤드 요소를 모두 재현할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 최근 멀티 채널 네트워크 I/O에서 뛰어난 성능을 보이는 Winoows의 IOCP 기술을 이용해 실제와 같이 대량의 클라이언트를 생성해 서버와 동시에 세션을 연결하는 방법과 모델 기반으로 도출된 테스트 시나리오를 부하 발생 패턴에 적용하는 새로운 방안을 제시한다. 이를 활용해 향후 다양한 서버의 최대 성능을 보다 정확히 측정할 수 있다.

본 논문은 OMG의 MDA(Model Driven Architecture)를 기반으로 한 분산 컴포넌트의 성능 측정도구의 개발모델에 대하여 설명한다. 이 모뜯을 이용하면 컴포넌트 모델과 미들웨어 프레임워크에 중립적인 성능측정기를 개발할 수 있으며 동일 내지는 유사기능을 수행하는 컴포넌트들의 비교와 검증에 필요한 객관적인 성능 측정 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 클러스터 측정(Cluster Measurement)과 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 문서 클러스링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 유전자 알고리즘의 요소를 클러스터링에 대입하고 클러스터 측정을 적합도 함수에 대입하여 문서 클러스터링을 구현하였다. 성능 평가를 위하여 한국일보-20000/한국일보-40075 문서범주화 실험문서집합의 데이터 셋을 이용하였다. 클러스터링 성능 평가 결과 AS Index가 DB Index, RS Index 보다 좋은 성능을 보여준다. 또한 제안한 알고리즘이 K-means 클러스터링 알고리즘에 비교해 안정적으로 좋은 성능을 보여준다.

최근 산업현장에서 작업능률의 향상, 인건비의 절감을 목적으로 공장자동화가 급속히 추진됨에 따라 자동화 설비의 핵심기기인 공압벨브의 수요가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 공압밸브는 전기적신호로 솔레노이드를 작동하여 공기의 흐름을 제어하는 것으로 기계와 전기가 결합된 Mechatronics화된 제품이다. 본 연구에서는 공압벨브류의 성능측정 분야 에 있어서 세계 각종규격(ISO, JIS, CETOP) 에 명기된 시험항목들을 자동으로 측정할 수 있는 종합성능 시험시스템을 개발하였고, 시스템의 작동은 한명의 작업자가 측정항목의 모든 시험을 제어할 수 있도록 완전자동화 하였다.

해양교통시설 측정선 "한빛호"는 우리나라 전 해역의 광파표지(유 무인등대), 전파표지(GNSS, DGNSS, Loran-C 등), 음파표지(무신호기) 성능 측정 및 분석을 담당하는 국내 유일의 선박으로 그 중 전파표지의 GNSS와 DGNSS 측정된 수신테이터 분석을 통해 항법성능 요구조건 충족 여부와 전파 관련 유관기관에 참고자료로 활용하는데 기여하고자 합니다.

While there is a great demand for malware classification to reduce the time required in malware analysis and find a new type of malware, various similarity measurement methods of malware to classify a lot of malwares have been proposed. But, the existing methods to measure similarity just represented the classification results by them and have not carried out performance comparison with other methods. This is because an evaluation model to compare the performance of similarity measurement methods is non-existent. In this paper, we propose a new performance evaluation model on similarity measurement methods of malware by using two indicators: success rate and degree of confidence. In addition, we compare and evaluate the performance of existing similarity measurement methods by using these two indicators.
