Since 1995 many enterprises have introduced ERP to strengthen competitive power. However, enterprises that have introduced ERP for the first time have experienced various types of problems integrating them; to this day, there are only a few enterprises that have implemented ERP successfully. The main reason for the failures of successful ERP implementing is that enterprises frequently ignore and/or don't know how to systematically evaluate the construction process of ERP and busy finishing a phase without resolving problems before going on to the next phase. This research focused on the implementation process of ERP project to evaluate the process of ERP at each phase. As a result, we propose an evaluation model of ERP project as a tool to find critical problems at each phase and improve on how to resolve the problems found at each phase. This evaluation model makes it possible to introduce ERP successfully by presenting the basis of assessment which will be used by enterprises to minimize the trial and error of construction process of ERP.

This study aims to examine economic effects and success factors of ICT based growth engine industry for forth generation industrial revolution. KTRS(kibo Technology Rating System) provided by KIBO is used for an analysis of this study. Specifically, the economic effects of growth engine industy are classified with financial(productivity, growth rate, etc) and non-financial(R&D investment and employment) effects. Moreover, the impacts of KTRS factors including CEO capability, technology ability, commercialization and marketability on the economic effects are investigated. The result of this study would raise management issues on technology innovation and provide implications on industrial policies for ICT based growth engine industry.

본 연구는 한국의 벤처캐피탈회사들이 투자안이 투자여부를 판단하는데 사용하는 평가모형이 실제의 성과와 비교하여 타당성을 갖는가를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 다음의 두가지 투자모형을 도출하여 그 내용을 비교하였다. 실제심사모형(Current Evaluation Model)은 심사과정을 거친 168개 투자안을 coxorehlse 그룹과 기각된 그룹으로 분류하여 이에 대한 판별분석을 통해 투자여부에 영향을 미친 평가요인의 우선순위를 규명하여 도출하였다. 한편, 성과모형(Performance-based model)은 앞 모형에서 채택된 투자안을 다시 성공과 실패의 두 그룹으로 분류하고 이를 종속변수로 한 판별분석을 통해 성과에 대한 평가요인의 영향도를 파악하여 개발하였다. 이 두 모형을 비교함으로써 본 연구는 우리나라 벤쳐캐피탈이 적용하는 투자평가시스템의 문제점을 파악하고 그 원인을 고찰하였다. 본 연구는 미국 등 선진국과 달리 다양한 투자환경에서 나타날 수 있는 투자평가모형의 타당성을 검증할 수 있는 접근방법을 제시했다는 점에 큰 의의가 있다. 이러한 접근을 통해 현 평가 모형의 문제점을 파악하고 개선방법을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

Two different modelling approaches to dune dynamics have been established thus far; continuous models that emphasize the precise representation of wind field, and feedback-based models that focus on the interactions between dunes, rather than aerodynamics. Though feedback-based models have proven their capability to capture the essence of dune dynamics, the compatibility issues on these models have less been addressed. This research investigated, mostly from the theoretical point of view, the algorithmic compatibility of three feedback-based dune models: sand slab models, Nishimori model, and de Castro model. Major findings are as follows. First, sand slab models and de Castro model are both compatible in terms of flux perspectives, whereas Nishimori model needs a tuning factor. Second, the algorithm of avalanching can be easily implemented via repetitive spatial smoothing, showing high compatibility between models. Finally, the wind shadow rule might not be a necessary component to reproduce dune patterns unlike the interpretation or assumption of previous studies. The wind shadow rule, rather, might be more important in understanding bedform-level interactions. Overall, three models show high compatibility between them, or seem to require relatively small modification, though more thorough investigation is needed.

This paper analyzes cognition of the vocational training (VT) CEOs on the theoretical success conditions of contracting-out VT services to private training providers, by using survey results on 87 CEOs. The survey results show that VT CEOs agree with most of the theoretical success conditions of contracting-out VT services. The only thing they do not agree with the theoretical success conditions was that CEOs prefer direct trainee recruiting instead of referral by public employment service offices after consulting and job capacity assessment. This implies that government can smoothly transfer vocational training policies suitable for the success conditions of contracting-out vocational training services to private training providers.

정부는 지난 몇 년간 국가GIS사업을 비롯해 중앙부처 및 지방자치단체에서 추진한 각종 GIS사업을 통해 구축된 지리정보의 활용도를 극대화하고자 국가지리정보유통체계 구축사업을 추진해 왔다. 지리정보유통망과 같은 정보 유통체계는 유통 상품이 물류배송이 아닌 인터넷을 기반으로 실시간으로 전달되는 유통흐름을 가지고 있어 유통의 주체, 객체, 수단, 환경 등 제반 요소의 변화에 따라 유통모형을 달리 적용할 필요가 있다. 국가지리정보유통체계 구축사업에 적용된 유통모형은 크게 중앙집중형, 지방분산형, 혼합형으로 구분된다. 그리고 각각의 모형은 정보통신기술의 발전 현황과 정보화 환경을 고려하여 초기 단일 유통센터를 중심으로 운영되는 중앙집중형에서 점차 지역별 통합관리소가 운영되는 지방분산형으로 전환되었고, 근래에는 중앙집중형과 지방분산형이 통합된 혼합형으로 발전하였다. 본 연구에서는 지금까지 적용된 유통모형을 정립하고 이에 대한 장 단점을 도출하여 향후 발전해 나아갈 수 있는 가장 이상적인 유통모형을 제안해보고자 한다. 이는 정보 유통을 고려하는 사업의 참고 모형으로 활용될 수 있으며, 이를 토대로 보다 성공적인 유통시장을 형성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

One-dimensional unsteady flow model including weir flow simulation is studied. Applicabilities of both the single channel model with local treatment of the weir overflow, and the looped-network model are studied using a test problem. It is shown that various type of weir flows including reverse flows are successfully simulated. Flow discontinuity due to the high crest elevation can also be simulated. The reverse free-flowing overflow can be simulated by the single-channel model as well as by the looped-network model.

The purpose of this paper is to examine IT governance mediated the effect of human resource capability on information systems outsourcing success. The survey method was used for this paper, and data from a total of 108 companies that were listed greater than $10 million were used for the analysis. And structural equation model was used to analyze the data. The results of this empirical study is summarized as followings. First, human resource capability do not have a direct effect on information systems outsourcing success but IT governance mediates the effect of human resource capability. Second, preparedness capability and relationship capability have positive effect on the IT governance. The findings have significant implications for IT governance in information systems outsourcing.

The purpose of this study was to suggest a guideline for systematic and practical critical success factors of the External IT audit. For this purpose, an integrated conceptual model is developed considers that the service quality, and the IS(Information Systems) success with a contingency viewpoint. The model is tested using 254 data of IS projects which procured the external IT auditing service in public sector of Korea. The results of this study are as follows. First, service quality attributes of responsiveness, reliability, and tangibility have positive influence on IS implementation process quality. Second, the external IT audit quality obviously contributes to IS implementation success considering both IS implementation process quality and IS system quality. However it has positive influence on the process quality directly and the system quality indirectly.

Online game business has emerged as the most lucrative entertainment industry, with over 20 million platers. The popularity of online games can be attributed to the presence of numerous PC Bangs around the country, which have pushed online games into the mainstream culture while broadband internet services facilitated online game play. The age distribution of online game players is expanding and a variety of new games are under development to target certain age groups. While the online game market continues to expand, with many new online game publishers entering the market, relatively little is known about which factors are strategically important for successful development of online games. A conceptual framework is proposed, and a structural equation modeling, for Identifying the factors affecting the market success of online games, is developed. The concept of online game community, idea generation, systematic development strategy, flexible development process, utilizing demo-version, outsourcing, etc, are ail introduced into the model, as the independent variables affecting the success level of online games directly and indirectly. Based on data collected from questionnaire survey, the validity of the model has been tested and interesting conclusions have been developed concerning the relationships between these variables. Statistical results show that utilizing online game community and system atic development strategy is the key for successful online game development. Other interesting results concerning game development strategy are also provided. It is hoped that this result might provide the useful guidelines for developing the successful online game contents. With a better understanding of key success factors, online game developers should be able to make adjustments in their development and marketing plans, providing them with a sustainable advantage over their competition.
