시대에 따라 스크린에 훌륭한 애니메이션 작품들이 존재해왔다. 이를 통해 수많은 훌륭한 애니메이션 캐릭터들도 함께 탄생하였다. 이러한 캐릭터의 이미지 특징들은 성격의 명암이 뚜렷하고, 시간이 흘러도 늙거나 변치 않는다는 요소들을 가지고 있다. 스토리는 캐릭터를 완성한다. 그러나 다른 한편으로는 캐릭터가 스토리의 완성도를 높이게 됨을 부인할 수 없다. 애니메이션 캐릭터가 가지는 성격의 중요성은 아무도 부정할 수 없다. 애니메이션에서 어떻게 뚜렷한 성격과 개성을 가진 캐릭터를 묘사를 해왔는지 본 논문은 시대에 따른 캐릭터 묘사의 요소를 분석하여, 캐릭터의 성격과 개성의 묘사방법을 찾아 보고자 한다.

With the help of information technology for a film, characteris both the composition of the story and one of the most important elements that lead the story. Character has a close relationship with personality description, and the character's age, background, education, and occupation help decide his or her personality. Charades are important in that by describing a character's psychology using charade techniques, it gives a stronger impression than by describing with merely lines or narration. When a man's thought changes, their behavior changes; when a behavior is repeated, it becomes habit; when a habit is repeated, it becomes nature. The nature is the person's personality, otherwise called character. Therefore, charade techniques describe a character's psychology well, and consequently, it has maintained its importance. Because human nature and in-depth psychological description have a connection with a character's personality development, I would like to discuss the topic through this research. By using Director Shunji Iwai's "April Story" as the text, the effects of charade techniques on a character's personality development in film will be analyzed by seeking and presenting the methodology shown within the work through charade-acting techniques used by the characters for the development of character's personality.

The analysis of the various settings for modal Composition used for characterization of the characters in an epic movie. We set the mode along the role of the profession, gender of the characters in the movie. The mode is used, from Gregorian chant. Analysis reveals the Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian, Ionian character of the seven total Mode how the character is portrayed in the characters for each Mode specificity. The analysis of the reasons for the musical approach and the nature of the characters cited for Mode a portion of Plato's [Republic].

This study is on the modification of characters' role and personality between spin-off animation and original works. For this, one of box office hits, (2011) and (2015) have been analyzed with Enneagram and Greimas' Actantial model. The result shows, firstly, the protagonist of spin-off work plays subject role in a new narrative comparing that he/she plays faithful helper's role in original work. Secondly, the protagonist's personality does not show big difference between in spin-off and in original. But, anyway, there's a small change that the secondary personality in original stands out as a primary personality in spin-off. Finally, the standing out personality of the protagonist tends to be 'achiever' or 'loyalist', those of stereotype successful animation characters. In conclusion, the role change according to new narrative seems to be unavoidable. And, the personality change is, too. However, the personality change is partial and it has continuity from the original considering the potential audiences' expectation.

Any kind of animation film are almost inseparable from the role of characters, with distinct personalities, and well-created characters are not only the expressors of narrative and themes, but also the ones who communicate with the audience and form resonance. Nowadays, with the improvement of the public's aesthetics, the production of excellent animation, the characters with a single personality have been almost eliminated. So how to create a profound role has become a topic worthy of study. This paper is based on Freud's theory of personality structure and ego defense mechanism. The main research object is the main character of the animation film "The Tale of The Princess Kaguya". At the end of the thesis, by analyzing Kaguya's image characteristics and individual pursuits, it explores director Isao Takahata's understanding of character shaping. In this way, it also provides a reference to produce animation works.

To investigate how personality test items are understood by participants, their semantic representations were explored by Latent Semantic Analysis, In this thesis, Semantic Similarity Matrix was proposed, which contains cosine similarity of semantic representations between test items and personality traits. The matrix was compared to traditional factor loading matrix. In preliminary study, semantic space was constructed from the passages describing the five traits, collected from 154 undergraduate participants. In study 1, positive correlation was observed between the factor loading matrix of Korean shorten BFI and its semantic similarity matrix. In study 2, short personality test was constructed from semantic similarity matrix, and observed that its factor loading matrix was positively correlated with the semantic similarity matrix as well. In conclusion, the results implies that the factor structure of personality test can be inferred from semantic similarity between the items and factors.

대부분의 경우에 하구의 미세-점착성 퇴적물은 보통 무기성 광물과 유기물 및 생화학물의 혼합체이며, 광물 입자들은 주로 점토와 실트로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 혼합체의 침식특성은 사질성 퇴적물과는 달리 입자간의 응집현상에 의한 의해 크게 영향을 받으며, 응집강도는 광물질 구성, 입경분포, 유기물 함량 등으로 묘사되는 퇴적물 자체의 물리ㆍ화학적 기본특성에 따라 크게 변화하고 (Mea, 1986), 특히 저면 퇴적물의 침식 여부는 흐름 전단응력에 의한 저면퇴적물의 저항력 즉, 저면전단강도의 상대적 크기의 차이에 좌우되므로, 그 침식 특성은 저면전단강도 흑은 저면밀도로 묘사되는 저면특성에 따라 크게 변화한다(황규남 등, 2003). 또한 각 해역마다 저면 퇴적물은 퇴적물 공급원, 수동학적 조건, 생태학적 조건 등이 모두 다른 상태에서 형성된 퇴적층이므로, 저면 퇴적물의 기본특성 및 저면특성은 "site- specific" 한 성격을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 1940년대 할리우드 영화 <우리 생애 최고의 해>의 '귀향 장면'의 주제를 연구하였다. 그 장면 속에 제시되는 몇 개의 주제의 음악적 성격과 그 주제가 반복되고 변형되는 스타일을 분석함으로써 작곡가가 영화의 장면에 대응하는 방법을 밝히고자 하였다. 여기서 작곡가 프리드호퍼는 주제의 반복과 변형, 특정 음정과 분산화음의 빈번한 사용, 조성구조에서의 해결 지연과 화음의 연장이라는 방법을 주인공들의 심리 묘사에 사용한다.

애니메이션은 화면을 구성하는 모든 요소를 제작자의 의도에 따라 창조할 수 있다는 부분에서 메시지를 전달하는 표현 도구로써 언어적 성격이 강하다. 이에 애니메이션 작품을 대상으로 선정해 작품 속에서 묘사되는 공간의 역할과 그 상징의미에 대해 고찰하고 그것이 어떻게 기호화 되어 있는지에 대해 분석하기 위한 선행연구를 진행하였다.
