태양열이용주택의 외국자료중 일리노이주 에너지 및 건축 위원회에서 주최한 현상설계모집에 당선된 당선작중 DAVID. C. YOUNG씨 안과 STEPHEN R. STOCK씨안을 소개한다. YOUNG씨 안은 수동시스템(Passive system)의 대표적인 예의 작품으로 소개할 수 있으며 STOCK씨안은 능동시스템(Active system)의 좋은 예로 소개하고 싶다. 여기서는 단독 예만을 소개하고 집합주택의 능동시스템을 제외하였다.

Agricultural tractors must have a function of ROPS to protect drivers under roll-over accident. In this study, finite element analyses and an optimal design were performed to reduce the cost and the production period of the cabin frame of a tractor to pass the ROPS strength test. To confirm the pass of ROPS strength test of an initial design model, the results of deformation and principal strain from the analyses were evaluated. To reduce the weight of the cabin frame, design of experiment of Taguchi was implemented, and an optimal design was obtained. The weight of the optimal design model was reduced by 7% comparing with the initial design model.

공학설계에 있어서 보다 합리적인 최적설계 혹은 최적과 근사한 설계안을 얻기 위해서는 최적화모델에 표현할 수 없는 설계과정의 경험적 지식이나 의사결정과정을 지운할 수 있는 지식기반시스템이 결합되어야 할 필요가 있다. 본 글에서는 수치적인 계산결과만을 제공하는 최적화 기법의 한계와 기호처리에 중점을 두고 있는 지식기반시스탬의 한계를 극복하여, 보다 현실적인 최적 설계안을 도출할 수 있는 지식기반 최적설계시스템에 관한 연구현황과 관련기술을 살펴보았다.

A well-designed mathematics lesson is the foundation for effective mathematics instruction. Given this significance, this paper focused on analyzing what would be important elements for in-service teachers in planning an elementary mathematics lesson. For this purpose, a total of 27 in-service teachers were asked to write down whatever they would consider important in designing a mathematics lesson. A mathematics lesson plan prepared by a pre-service teacher was provided for the in-service teachers. They were then asked to analyze the strengths of the lesson plan and to provide detailed feedback on how to improve it. The results of this study showed that the in-service teachers tended to analyze the given mathematics lesson plan in terms of what they considered important regarding lesson design. Such elements were specified when the in-service teachers described the strengths and feedback for improvement of the lesson plan. In particular, the aspects of instructional strategies and materials were explained in detail. Based on these results, this paper is expected to provoke discussions on lesson design of in-service teachers and subsequent research.

충주시에서는 청소년 뿐만 아니라 일반인의 교육연수기능 확대와 충주시의 전통과 문화유산으로 길이 계승하고자 청소년수련원, 택견전수관, 우륵당 건립을 위한 기본계획 설계경기를 실시하여 지난 7월 29일 결과를 발표했다. 총 5개 사무소에서 출품한 이번 설계경기에서 다애건축(대표:최성규)안이 당선작으로 선정되었으며, 가작으로는 신세대건축(대표:조구현)안과 가화건축(대표:강석후)안이 각각 선정됐다.

냉동기등의 냉방장치에 의한 온실의 기온하강은 주간에 과다한 일사부하로 인하여 경제적으로 불가능하기 때문에 현재 증발냉각법이 주로 이용되고 있다. 그러나 증발냉각법의 구체적인 설계기준안에 대한 국내연구는 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라 기상여건을 고려하여 증발냉각법을 위한 설계기준안을 제시하고자 하였다. (중략)

경기도에서는 공무원의 직무연찬을 위한 세미나와 의식교육장으로 활용하고 심신수련장과 주말 및 휴가철에는 가족과 함께 휴양할 수 있는 휴식공간으로 연중 운영코자 공무원수련원 건립 현상설계경기를 실시한 결과 진우건축(대표 김동훈)안을 최우수작으로 선정, 지난 9월 20일 발표했다. 총 5개 사무소에서 작품을 제출한 이번 설계경기에서 우수작은 태건축(김태영) + 극동건축(신훈)안과 내건건축(곽은영)안 2작품이 선정됐다. 당선작을 게재한다.`

대전산업대학교에서는 대학의 장기발전계획에 맞추어 기존건물과 조화를 이루며 대학 특성에 맞는 지식정보센터로의 기능을 발휘할 수 있도록 새로운 건축문화의 상징으로 중앙도서관을 건립코자 현상설계경기를 실시, 총 14개 작품이 응모된 가운데 신화(엔)건축(김인수+최재인)안을 당선작으로 선정, 지난 10월 20일 발표했다. 일반공개경기 방법으로 진행된 이번 설계경기의 우수작은 시원건축(박창권)안이, 가작에는 이방건축(김광출), 천일건축(한규봉), 선건축(오선교)안이 각각 선정됐다.

국민연금관리공단에서는 연금가입자 및 수급권자의 복지증진과 제도에 대한 홍보효과를 제고하고 대국민사회보장제도의 능률적 수행 등을 목적으로 지난 11월 30일, 국민연금종합휴양시설 건립 현상설계공모를 마감, 발표했다. 이번 설계경기에서 당선작으로는 창우정종합건축안이 선정되었고, 우수작으로는 동인ㆍ우양건축안과 선한건축안이 각각 선정됐다. 본지에서는 당선작과 우수작중 동인ㆍ우양건축안을 싣는다.

서울시 동작구에서는 동작구 지역 이미지에 부합하며, 지역문화의 수준을 향상시키고, 지역주민의 안녕을 위한 복지시설을 건립하기 위한 구민회관 및 보건소 청사 현상설계경기를 실시하여 총 8개 작품이 응모한 결과 주수일건축+소람ㆍ두가건축안을 당선작으로 선정, 지난 6월 23일 발표하였다. 이번 설계경기의 우수작은 범일건축(이수형)안이, 가작으로는 공간인식건축(양상준)안이 각각 선정됐다.
