Recently, as construction projects are getting bigger and more complex, the number of participants has been tremendously increased. According to the current trend, the necessity of collaboration design management controlling communication and information exchange among many participants has came up. So this study considers the roles and tasks of each participant and informations that occur in each design stage, and looks into the present status of collaboration in design management of domestic design companies. Finally, the function of collaboration system is drove. It supports tasks of design participants, such as input design outcome, decision making among concerned people and solution of design change and interference.

The successful completion of a construction project requires a thorough understanding of all stages and phases of the project, and enhanced through integration of design and construction during the pre-construction stage. Constructability is a major factor in measuring the success or failure of construction project. During the pre-construction stage, lack of construction knowledge integration in the planning and design process is a major factor that leads to constructability problems during the construction stage. this study is to find out such problems based on interview and questionnaire in the structure's work of High-Rise Office Buildings. The objective of this study is to Identify Impact aspect of the structure's work of High-Rise Office Buildings.

조경설계의 도구로서 컴퓨터 드로잉 기술은 핸드드로잉이 제공할 수 없었던 많은 이점을 제공하여 주며, 그 중요성은 현 미국 조경설계 실무 및 교육에서 점점 커 가고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 조경교육 측면에서 핸드드로잉과 컴퓨터 드로잉을 어떻게 균형을 맞추어야 하는지 쉽지 않은 논쟁거리를 제공한다. 이러한 미국 조경교육계의 고민은 미국에 국한된 문제가 아니라 한국 조경교육에서도 진지하게 고려되어야 되는 문제로 보인다. 본 연구는 미국 달라스시와 포트워쓰시를 포함한 미 텍사스주 북부에 위치한 설계사무소에 근무하는 조경기술사를 취득한 조경설계가들을 대상으로 실시한 설문을 통하여 조경실무에 있어서 핸드드로잉과 컴퓨터 드로잉의 역할에 대하여 조사하였다. 달라스시와 포트워쓰시는 Carter & Burgess, HOK, Mesa Design Group, SMR, SWA Group, TBG Partners등 미국의 대표적인 조경설계사무소 대부분이 본사 혹은 지역사무소를 두고 있는 미 남부의 대표적인 금융, 건(축)설 분야의 대표적인 쌍둥이 도시로 알려져 있다. 설문조사 결과, 몇몇 개인 특성들이 일상적인 조경설계에 있어서 핸드드로잉과 컴퓨터 드로잉의 중요성에 대한 인지와 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 컴퓨터 드로잉 기술이 일상적인 조경설계 과정에서 빈번하게 사용되고 있음에도 불구하고, 핸드드로잉만이 제공할 수 있는 고유 역할이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 조경디자인 아이디어를 발전시키는 과정에 핸드드로잉 기법이 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

대한주택공사가 올해 100만호 주택건설을 이룬 기념사업의 일환으로 모범적인 주거환경을 위하여 경기도 용인시 기흥상갈지구를 100만호 시범단지로 지정하여 현상설계를 공모한 결과 총23개 업체(A블럭:10개업체, B블럭:13개업체)가 참여하여 A블럭의 최우(수작으로는 한빛건축사사무소(민승렬)의 안, B블럭의 최우수작은 (주)건축사사무소 창일엔지니어링(문정일)의 안이 당선되었으며 최종 8개 업체가 입선되었다. 특히, 이번 현상설계공모방식에서 특기할 만한 점은 2개 블록으로 나누어 공모함으로써 많은 신진건축가들의 참여도를 높여 그 결과 다양하고 참신한 아이디어를 많이 수렴할 수 있었다는 것이다.

Today organizations are making considerable efforts in order to maintain excellent talent, and in particular, they are focusing on understanding their intentions of changing jobs which are most highly correlated with job turnover. In the case of architectural design firms, its intensity of work is very high unlike industrial settings, and it not only takes much time to cultivate new men of talent and but also is characteristic that employees can change livery easily because of the flexible labor market. The turnover rated by National Statistical Office indicates that specialized, scientific and technical service industry including the architectural design firm has a relatively high turnover rate compared to the average of the turnover rate of the overall industries. However, studies on intentions of changing jobs until now were conducted focused on employees engaged in other industrial areas, and it is true that studies regarding intentions of changing jobs of practitioners of architectural design firms are very insufficient. In this context, the present study aimed to draw determinants affecting intentions of changing jobs of practitioners of architectural design firms, to objectively understand the practitioners' intentions of changing jobs through importance analysis by each factor based on this and to make a comparative analysis of differences between the large scale architectural design firms and the small and medium sized architectural design firms.

우리 협회는 지난 11월 26일 오후 2시 협회 대강당에서 '건축설계의 국제경쟁력 확보 및 전문화 방안'을 주제로 토론회를 개최하였다. WTO출범과 건축설계시장개방 등 급격한 대내ㆍ외적 환경변화에 처해 있는 우리 건축계의 국제경쟁력 확보 방안을 마련하기 위해 열린 이날 토론회에서는 경쟁력 확보를 위해 건축설계사무소마다 다양한 전문분야를 확보하고, 건축설계 생산성 향상을 위해 설계업계와 구조, 설비 등 관련 전문분야가 협력체제를 구축해야 하며, 건축의 상품성과 문화예술성이 함께 고려된 건설관련 법안이 마련돼야 한다는 주장이 제기됐다. 이날 서울시립대 최찬환교수는 '건축설계의 경쟁력 확보 방안'이란 주제발표를 통해 해외건설업계의 국내진출에 대응하기 위해서는 설계사무소가 전문성과 효율성을 확보해야 한다고 강조하면서 전문영역을 크게 주거, 상업시설, 공공시설, 교육문화시설, 사회복지시설, 교통 및 운수시설 등으로 구분하였다. 최교수는 또 외국업체에 의한 국내시장 잠식을 막고 우리가 해외에 진출하기 위해서는 해외건설업체와 협력해 정보와 기술, 경험 등을 지원받아야 하고 R&D에 대한 투자를 적극적으로 해야한다고 강조했다. 이어 '건축설계의 전문화'에 대해 주제발표를 한 강원대 박경립 교수는 국내 건설관련문제점 개선과 대외경쟁력 강화를 위해 현재 입법추진되고 있는 건설산업기본법이 건축설계의 독자성과 전문성을 고려하지 않고 있다고 지적하면서 이에 대한 보완필요성을 제기하였다. 박교수는 또한 건축설계분야가 갖고 있는 전문성과 함께 '건축문화'라는 사회문화적 측면의 중요성이 인식돼야 한다며 건축의 상품성과 문화예술성이 함께 고려된 건설관련 법안이 마련돼야 한다고 지적했다. 박교수는 이밖에도 사회발전에 따른 새로운 전문영역의 개발로 실내 설계와 도시설계를 예로 들었으며 정보화에 맞게 고도의 전문성을 바탕으로 Network체계를 구축하고 그 핵심은 건축사협회에 정보Network를 구축하여 활용하는 것이라고 제안했다. 한편 주제발표 후에는 약 3시간여에 걸쳐 이문보(동국대 교수), 손세관(중앙대 교수), 이병담(현대산업개발 부사장), 김인호(국방부 건설기술과장), 유경철(삼육건축사사무소 대표), 이관영(본 협회 이사)씨 등 건설ㆍ건축관계자들이 참가한 종합토론이 이어졌다. 이 자리에서는 사회의 인식에 앞서 건축계 내부적으로 전문성과 효율성의 확보에 나서야 한다는 의견과 함께 무한경쟁속에서 우리 건축설계의 경쟁력을 높일 수 있다는 다양한 의견들이 제기되었다. 본지에서는 이번 토론회의 주제발표 내용을 요약 정리하여 게재한다.
