A New Adaptive Controller Compensating Nonlinear Distortions of a Speaker (스피커의 비선형 왜곡을 보정하는 새로운 적응 제어기)

  • In general, a speaker generates nonlinear distortions owing to a design principle, manufacturing process, and so on, which decreases and changes a sound quality. So, if the speaker is linearized by compensating these nonlinear distortions, the sound quality and satisfaction can be increased. In this paper, a new adaptive controller was proposed to be applied for compensating nonlinear distortions of a speaker. Through computer simulations as well as the analytical analysis, it could be shown that it is possible for both conventional adaptive controller and proposed adaptive controller, to be applied for linearizing the speaker with nonlinear distortions. Also, the simulations results demonstrated that the proposed adaptive controller may have faster convergence speed and better capability of compensating the nonlinear distortion than the conventional adaptive controller with nearly equal computation complexity.

  • 본 논문에서는 검출기의 반응 특성을 선형화 모델링 하여 정규화 할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 디지털 의료영상 시스템에서 X-선을 검출하는 검출기의 반응 특성이 모든 검출기마다 다르기 때문에 이 특성을 쉽고 빠르게 정규화 하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 균일한 피사체에 X-선 조사량의 비율을 다르게 하여 두 번 찍은 영상으로 검출기의 반응 특성을 정규화 한다. 실험 결과 일정한 두께의 납 평판에 조사량을 달리하여 촬영한 두 개의 결과 영상을 가지고 검출기의 반응 특성을 보정하면 매우 안정된 결과 영상을 얻을 수 있다.

Sweeping Linearization of Wavelength Swept Laser (파장 스위핑 레이저의 스위핑 선형화)

  • In this paper, a new method for linear sweeping of wavelength swept laser has proposed, and the linear sweeping of 1kHz speed and 80nm range has realized by using this method. The proposed requires only one-shot calibration in the early stage on a wave pattern applied to FFP-TF. This makes the problem with nonlinear swept lasers like a cumbersome and time-consuming signal processing brought on by every recalibration to be resolved.

  • 선형 Boussinesq 형태의 파동방정식을 지배방정식으로 사용하는 능동적인 분산보정 지진해일 전파 유한 차분모형의 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 새로운 동시격자접속기법을 개발하였다. 이 격자접속기법은 공간에 대해 3차 보간식을 사용하므로 짧은 파에 대해서 보간에 따른 오차를 최소화할 수 있고, 시간에 대해 2차 보간식을 사용하기 때문에 기존 기법에 비해 더 정확한 값을 얻을 수 있다. 개발된 격자접속기법의 정확성을 평가하기 위해 수중 원형천퇴상을 전파하는 Gaussian 형상의 가상지진에 대해 격자접속기법을 적용하지 않고 계산한 결과와 격자접속기법을 적용하여 계산한 결과를 FUNWAVE에 포함되어 있는 선형화된 Boussinesq방정식에 의해 계산된 수치해와 비교하였다. 그 결과 개발된 동시격자접속기법의 우수함이 검증되었다.

  • This paper proposes two types of the preview algorithms to predict the velocities and joint positions, and deals with a control approach using the preview algorithms for the precise trajectory control. Specifically, a predictor as the form of discrete time state equations is proposed based on the robot dynamics model linearized by the computed toque method. And another state predictor is proposed by the best line fitting in the least square sense, where present joint velocities and positions and several past positions are employed. Then computer simulations are performed for the SCARA robot with two d.o.f to show the validities of the proposed algorithms.

  • 다중경로 채널의 시변 특성은 OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 신호의 직교성을 파괴시키며 이는 인접 채널간 간섭(ICI: interchannel interference)을 발생시켜 도플러 주파수에 비례하는 오류를 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 채널 시변의 원인을 주파수 옵셋과 도플러효과로 규정하고, 주파수 옵셋을 보정하기 위해 기존의 선형보간법(LI: linear interpolation method)대신 선형위상보간법(LPI: linear phase interpolation)과 도플러효과에 의한 ICI 를 제거하기 위해 기존의 주파수영역 등화기법보다 효과적인 시간영역 등화기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법이 주파수 옵셋이 있는 시변 다중경로 페이딩 환경에서 OFDM 시스템에 적합함을 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 확인한다.

  • This paper presents the result of an international cooperative research on the post-correlation analysis of forced vibration tests and the prediction of earthquake responses of a large-scale seismic test structure. The dynamic analysis is carried out using the axisymmetric finite element method incorporating in finite elements for the for field soil region. Through the post-correlation analysis, the properties of the soil layers are revised so that the best correlation in the responses may be obtained compared with the measured force vibration test data. Utilizing the revised soil properties as the initial linear values, the seismic responses are predicted for an earthquake using the equivalent linearlization technique. It has been found that the predicted responses by the equivalent nonlinear procedure are in excellent agreement with the observed responses, while those using the linear properties are fairly off from the measured results.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to obtain a linear characteristic using soft computing for systems which have array sensors of nonlinear characteristics. Also a procedure utilizing the pattern information of array sensors without additional sensors is proposed to reduce disturbance effects. For a typical example, even a single CdS cell for CdS array has nonlinear characteristics. Overall linear characteristic for CdS array is obtained using fuzzy logic for each cell and overlapped portion. In addition, further improvement for linearization is obtained applying genetic algorithms for the parameters of membership functions. Also the effect of disturbing external light changes to the CdS array can be reduced without using any additional sensors for calibration. The proposed method based on fuzzy logic shows improvements for position measurements and disturbance reduction to external light changes due to the fuzziness of the shadow boundary as well as the inherent nonlinearity of the CdS array. This improvement is shown by applying the proposed method to the ball position measurements of a magnetic levitation system.

  • This paper considerated about exact flow volume calculation method from factors having an influence on measurement and introduced in anesthesia ventilator realized spirometry system. System used differential pressure sensing method with factors, that is temperature, pressure, gas density, humidity and mucus etc. System optimized for low power system for mobile system. System composed analog interface part, signal processing part, display part. Analog interface part have differential pressure flow sensor and defferential pressure sensor. Signal processing part have AVR processor for low power system display part use serial port (RS232, SPT). so it display at pc monitor or send to anesthesia ventilator. System is stable by linearizing 2th characteristics of flow-differential pressure, auto correction of sensor. Noise reduced by algorithm with analog filter and digital processing. Small, light, low power system is good at mobile system and applied to patient in emergency or mobile. and, System is useful at anesthesia ventilator by using flow sensor.
