This paper describes characteristics of EDT(Electro Discharge Texturing) and that the strip surface has influence on the paintability. The pulse mode and the capacitor mode of recently developed EDT method were investigated about the peak shape and the roughness of strip surface. And EDT method compared the above-mentioned contents with the SBT(Shot Blast Texturing) method. The peak count of the pulse mode is more than that of the capacitor mode. But the lower roughness below the Ra 3.2 .mu. m of the strip surface, the texturing time of the pulse mode is longer than the capacitor mode. In SBT method, the peak shape is similar to capacitor mode. But the EDT roll has more uniformity than the SBT roll and has more peak count than that of SBT roll. Therefore, in the painted steel sheet, EDT roll gives better surface of clarity image than the SBT roll.

A study on the surface roughness variation of work roll and strip at the temper rolling was performed. The results were obtained with changes according to the surface roughness of work roll and method to make the peak count on the roll in the temper rolling, and factors to affect to the work roll surface in actual rolling machine (ie. Temper mill). The results suggests that the electro-discharge textured roll has mere uniform roughness distribution than shot blasted roll and its life time is two times longer than shot blasted because it has more sine wave roughness, and it is possible to control the Rmax. In shot blasting method, Surface roughness is related to the impeller speed, But it can't control the peak count.

TGARCH models characterized by asymmetric volatilities have been useful for analyzing various time series in financial econometrics. We are concerned with persistent volatility in the TGARCH context. Park et al. (2009) introduced I-TGARCH process exhibiting a certain persistency in volatility. This article applies I-TGARCH model to various financial time series in Korea and it is obtained that I-TGARCH provides a better fit than competing models.

당뇨병성 신장 합병증은 신부전의 가장 흔한 원인 질환으로써, 20년 이상 경과한 제1형 당뇨병 환자의 40-50%에서 유발되며 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서 10~15%정도로 1형에 비해 유병률이 낮아 보이지만 제2형 당뇨병의 빈도가 훨씬 높으므로 혈액 투석을 받는 당뇨병 환자의 절반이상은 제2형 당뇨병 환자이다.
