The purpose of this study is to analyze mobile web accessibility of public libraries. To achieve this, accessibility checklists were driven from mobile web and application guidelines. The study also conducted automatic and manual evaluations. As results, the study found that text alternatives for resource image, main menu, image for text contents were mainly missing. In addition, focus for retrieval, operating system accessibility for retrieval, and id & password label, color difference for library calendar and seat reservation, brightness difference for main manu and resource display, and space between controls for retrieval were mainly missing. The study also suggested focal missing areas for main library services. It will be utilized as checklists for development of mobile services.

This study campares and analyzes the cataloging rules of the monographic publications included in the 4th edition of the Korean Cataloging Rules(KCR) & the 1st revision of the 3rd edition of the KCR. Especially it focuses on the different rules applied for the same specified areas, such as Title & Statement of Responsibility Area, Edition Area, Material Specific Details Area, Publication. Distribution, Etc., Area, etc. As a result, this analysis can be useful for cataloging monographic publications and so that the KCR4 will remain a viable standard for bibliographic description and access into the future.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the characteristics of online catalogs' interface of elementary school libraries, and to propose how to design user-friendly interfaces. The online catalogs of elementary school libraries are categorized into 6 types. Such topics as the features of search methods, the record display formats, the terminology usage, and the special features of the 6 types are discussed. Some shortcomings are examined and how to improve them is suggested.

Services for the elderly is a new challenge for the libraries in aging society. This study reviewed the obstacles faced by the old readers and presbyopia, and analyzed the states of the large-print books to understand and estimate the Korean large-print books availability. Based on the bibliographic list of large-print books collected by the National Library of Korea, large-print book stock list of the Kyobo Book Center, large-print book lists supplied to the libraries by the Korean Library Association, and the data of the previous Library Survey for the Disabled, number of titles and volumes, publication year, duplication, and subject field of the large-print books available are analyzed. Based on the results, problems are identified and recommendations for bibliographic control, collection development, reading promotion, and further research area are suggested.

Locating function of a particular item is more of added entry than a main entry heading. This function was expanded especially in the machine readable cataloging by introducing the control number and standard bibliographic number. Assembling function of the main entry heading is on a level with that of cross reference and notes, added entries, uniform headings. Links among all variant forms of a heading in hypercatalog will be made for collocating of all publications of a given author. The link of bibliographic records in this catalog can be freed from the dependence on standardized heading form. The function of the catalog is not affected even though by abandoning the concept of main entry heading. Further efforts should be made to raise users' finding opportunities through expansion of acces points and linking devices among related records.

This paper is about study how to decrese surge pressure that is occurred in excavator driving motor. We used computer simulation program SimulationX. It is also about the way finding design problem and approaching a solution through interpreting shape design sensitivity analysis. Programmes are below. First of all, finding shape fault by analyzing dynamic behavior of valves installed in hydraulic driving motor which is designed now. And drawing variable which is considered sensitive to improve dynamic efficiency among a lot of shape variables. Then, targeting that variable and examining dynamic efficiency stabilization tendency with controlling it. Finally, suggesting the most effective tuning method through variable combination as there are a lot of sensitive variables.

This study is to suggest the considerations in constructing BIBFRAME by analyzing change feature of BIBFRAME 2.0 under recognizing the needs of the detailed methods for BIBFRAME construction in Korea through literature review as research methods. First, it is to add or to describe expression level as the core entity in BIBFRAME 2.0. Second, it is to extend classes and properties as BIBFRAME vocabulary to reflect the RDA elements by testing the various materials. Third, preferred title and preferred name is to be described in BIBFRAME and Korean Cataloging Rules related to authorized access point is to be regulated. This study could contribute to develop BIBFRAME development and revision under revising BIBFRAME vocabularies ongoing.

The most of all, this study is planned to search an ideal methods to develop the digital library system for our korean ancient books for their safe preservation and, at the same time, for their perusal of transcendental time and space : first. to offer the various access points like traditional oriental Four parts Classics classification, current subject classification and index keyword, etc. : second, to program a digital library system using MARC or XML, but with all bibliographic descriptive elements as possible; third, to prepare the more easy annotated bibliography and index for users' better comprehension, and last, to build original text database for practical reading to avoid the damage of original text. This type of korean ancient books digital library will be developed to the real international bibliographic control by networking enter the same kinds of internal and external organizations.

This study aims to explore preferred title and authorized access points for religious works with sample bibliographic data and authority data. To this end, this study (1) reviewed RDA and recently revised KCR as cataloging rules, (2) investigated the preferred titles and authorized access points of religious works in major national libraries as a case study, and finally (3) suggested a method for constructing preferred titles and authorized access points for religious works in Korean libraries using sample data. The data needed for the study were collected through literature research and case studies, and additional email inquiry with the catalog librarians was conducted. As a result of the study, preferred titles and authorized access points for religious works were proposed in the form of KORMARC bibliographic and authority data.

With the rapid growth of the Internet, digital contents have increased in a geometric progression and the types also became much varied. In order to make it easier to identify and search digital contents on the Internet, which is basically a distributed network environment, it is essential to organize and manage metadata. In this study, we have comparatively analyzed the data elements of the meta data formats currently approached from different aspects in diverse fields, so as to provide basic materials for securing interoperability of the meta data formats. We selected Dublin Core, Semantic Header, MARC, IAFA Templates, and TEI Header as the general metadata formats of digital contents used widely in all areas, and we carried out comparisons and analyses based on the literature.
