The railway advance policy from Korea government, KORAIL have to reduce a half of his railway business loss until 2010 and turnout railway business black ink until 2012. To overcome this difficult management situation, KORAIL has been set up new marketing organization in Seoul station which is necessary and venerable. According to the leadership of Seoul station master, Seoul station's marketing team was launched at April 2008. The marketing team will introduce total marketing for KORAIL corporation in their marketing activity such as advertisement, B to B railway tickets, railway travel package sales and customer satisfaction event with other corporations, and so on. After automated ticket system(SMS and Home-printed ticket) will lead to existing ticket sales persons to become activating marketing team members. In the organization case study in Seoul station, this study how to manage new marketing team have a great performance last 8 months and analysed what was a successful factors and principals, and also their team limits within KORAIL's organization structure. In the long run, we suggest that how can be this team to be support within KORAIL system such as incentive system, payment system, and marketing budgets etc.

Subways are eco-friendly public transportation that can transport large numbers of passengers safely and quickly. It is necessary to predict the accurate number of passengers in order to increase public interest in subway. This study groups stations on Lines 1 to 9 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway using clustering analysis. We propose one final prediction model for all stations and three optimal prediction models for each cluster. We found three groups of stations out of 294 total subway stations. The Group 1 area is industrial and commercial, the Group 2 ares is residential and commercial, and the Group 3 area is residential districts. Various data mining techniques were conducted for each group, as well as driving some influential factors on demand prediction. We use our model to predict the number of passengers for 8 new stations which are part of the 3rd extension plan of Seoul metro line 9 opened in October 2018. The estimated average number of passengers per hour is from 241 to 452 and the estimated maximum number of passengers per hour is from 969 to 1515. We believe our analysis can help improve the efficiency of public transportation policy.

This research analyzes Seoul station, a typical transfer station complex, focusing on the evaluation of its barrier free design suitable for vulnerable persons such as senior citizens. The analysis was conducted to assess its compliance with the "barrier-free" design standard for those with physical or other disabilities. This paper proposes a list of items to evaluate for transfer station complexes with a barrier-free design. The results showed that the overall connections and internal and sanitation facilities of (Seoul station/the design?)were excellent. However, because of the lack of transfer and guidance facilities, vulnerable persons felt uncomfortable when searching for information about transferring from one means of transport to another. Furthermore, there was an extremely high risk of accidents when they transferred to the bus station. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange the transfer information facilities, in order to improve their readability and visibility. Once this is done, vulnerable people will be able to use this station more safely and conveniently.
