As the paradigm shifts from treatment and provider-centered healthcare to prevention and consumer-centered healthcare, the integration of ICT convergence technology is calling for an era of digital healthcare industry revival in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is possible to provide individual customized medical services utilizing various medical data, and it is possible to provide various medical services that transcend time and space through integration with other industries. Such digital healthcare includes health, nutrition, exercise, and patient care, while the digital healthcare industry includes healthcare and IT related to medical devices, medical information systems, and healthcare platforms that can provide personal health and medical information. Due to the social demands of the aging and the increase of chronic diseases, digital healthcare is considered as an important policy in the fourth industrial revolution in Korea. In order for the digital healthcare industry to contribute to the prolongation of human life and the improvement of quality of life, it is urgent to develop related infrastructures, legal institutions, and prepare policies. In addition, it is important to activate convergent education to foster talents who will lead the digital healthcare industry. The purpose of this study was to examine the trends of the digital healthcare industry in the era of the fourth industrial revolution and the direction of government R & D policies, and to derive directions and suggestions for future development.

In South Korea, the results of R&D in science and technology are submitted to the National Science and Technology Information Service (NTIS) in reports that have Korea national science and technology standard classification codes (K-NSCC). However, considering there are more than 2000 sub-categories, it is non-trivial to choose correct classification codes without a clear understanding of the K-NSCC. In addition, there are few cases of automatic document classification research based on the K-NSCC, and there are no training data in the public domain. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first attempt to build a highly performing K-NSCC classification system based on NTIS report meta-information from the last five years (2013-2017). To this end, about 210 mid-level categories were selected, and we conducted preprocessing considering the characteristics of research report metadata. More specifically, we propose a convolutional neural network (CNN) technique using only task names and keywords, which are the most influential fields. The proposed model is compared with several machine learning methods (e.g., the linear support vector classifier, CNN, gated recurrent unit, etc.) that show good performance in text classification, and that have a performance advantage of 1% to 7% based on a top-three F1 score.

Smart phone based navigation applications are very useful in everyday life. Cost-effective and user friendly navigation can be provided to the user by many applications available in market. Using the Smart phone these navigation applications provide accurate navigation for outdoor locations. But providing an accurate navigation underground space such as subway station is still a challenge. It is hence more convenient and appropriate for mobility services if the visitors could simply view the guidance of the subway station on their mobile phone, wherever and whenever it is needed. This study develops a algorithm for indoor navigation with the help of Augmented Reality(AR) and QR marker code from the entrance to the train platform for users. This indoor navigation uses AR and QR maker codes for two purposes: to provide the user link to the subway station location and to provide the current guidance details to the user. This Smart phone algorithm that uses a smart phone optical tool to decode the QR marker to determine the location information and provide guidance to the AR without indoor Maps. This algorithm also provides a module to guide mobility vulnerable to the Barrier Free route to destination.
Aids to Navigation (AtoN) is an important tool for safe navigation, and the variety of information provided by AtoN is invaluable. The demand for standardized AtoN information for efficient utilization is gradually increasing, and for this purpose, the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) has developed S-201, a standard for the management of AtoN information, and recommends its application to member countries. Notably, since Korea defines AtoNs and manages the information according to the Aids to Navigation Act, the need for definition and information management according to the S-201 standard, an international standard, is even greater. Therefore, in this study, according to the recommendation of IALA, we aimed to suggest a way to manage AtoN information by applying the S-201 standard. To this end, after comparing the classification criteria of the AtoN information of the IALA, and that of Korea's classification standards, Korea's AtoN information management plan applying the S-201 standard was presented. The results of this study provide important basic data for managing standardized digital AtoN information that is easy to use worldwide.
The purpose of this study was to identify the differences of cognitive responses, emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and service loyalty about service encounter quality by types of restaurants and to analyse emotional responses, customer satisfaction, and service loyalty in accordance with level of service encounter quality. The questionnaire were collected from customers (N=812) who had used restaurants in Seoul, aiming at 15 or more-year-old customers from October 24, 2005 to November 6, 2005. The main results of this study were as follows: Statistically significant difference was showed in importance and performance of interaction quality, importance and performance of physical environment quality, performance of outcome quality depending on types of restaurants, while significant difference was not indicated in importance of outcome quality by types of restaurants. Positive emotional response was significantly high by types of restaurants in order of fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants, and fast-food restaurants, while negative emotional responses were significantly higher in fast-food restaurants than in the other two types. As far as Customer satisfaction are concerned, fine-dining restaurants showed higher customer satisfaction than the other two types. Attitudinal service loyalty was high in fine-dining restaurants, family restaurants and fast-food restaurants in order and behavioral loyalty was not significantly different with each type of restaurant. In accordance with level of service encounter quality, cluster analysis was conducted and the clusters were divided into 'high-valuation' and 'low-valuation'. 'High-valuation cluster' and 'low-valuation cluster' showed significant difference depending on types of restaurants that customers used(p<.001). The customers who used fine-dining restaurants and family restaurants valued the performance of service encounter highly. However, in fast-food restaurants, a lot of low-valuation customers existed. Therefore, fast-food restaurants have to improve performance of interaction quality, outcome quality and physical environment quality in service encounter. In addition, in 'high-valuation cluster' who valued service encounter quality highly showed higher scores in positive responses, customer satisfaction, service loyalty than in 'low-valuation cluster', and showed low negative responses.

This investigation was a descriptive study that examined the relationship among factors including professional autonomy, role conflict, and clinical decision-making ability of nurses on comprehensive nursing service wards. To accomplish this, a survey of 234 nurses working at D city and G city who were selected based on convenience sampling was conducted. Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire completed by 234 nurses at four clinical hospitals from October 12, 2017 to November 30, 2017. The collected data were evaluated by t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The mean clinical decision-making ability score was $3.38{\pm}0.78$, which corresponded to an intermediate level of clinical decision-making ability. Clinical decision making ability was positively correlated with professional autonomy, but role conflict showed a negative correlation. The factors having the greatest impact on clinical decision-making ability were found to be, in order, length of work, education level, professional autonomy and role conflict, which together accounted for 38.7% of the total impact. To improve clinical decision making ability, it is important to improve autonomy and role conflict. Additionally, to improve clinical decision-making ability, it is necessary to improve clinical decision-making ability to determine nurses tasks through professional autonomy and role conflict. Overall, the results of this study can be utilized as baseline data when developing a program to enhance nurses' clinical decision making ability. Moreover, it is suggested that an interventional study analyzing validity and effectiveness of developed education programs be conducted.
Road traffic noise is closely related to road traffic environment, including traffic volumes by type and travel speed. In this study, we stated some issues and analyzed the relationships between road traffic noise and traffic flow characteristics. First, in attempt to find the answer to the question "When does the loudest traffic noise occur?" we reviewed the issue in the terms of traffic flow. As a result of analyzing level of service through Korea Highway Traffic Noise model, the actual maximum noise occurred in level of service D rather than level of service E, on the capacity state. It shows that maximum noise would be most likely to occur right before and after the peak hours. Second, this paper was looking for the method of a more easy and accurate traffic speed estimation to predict traffic noise. This paper proposed sketch planning techniques of speed-volume curve by level of service on Korea Highway Capacity Manual. As a result of trend line modeling, it was judged that quadratic form is a suitable function, and coefficient of determination ($R^2$) was higher than 0.96, respectively.

In this paper, we designed and implemented the planar monopole antenna using the coupling effect for the multi-band characteristic. A parasitic element for the multi-band characteristic based on a rectangular patch with single resonance is inserted. Spiral shaped parasitic element is used for minimizing the antenna size and obtaining the multi-resonance characteristic. The frequency characteristics are modified and optimized by varying specific parameters. By inserting an L-shaped resonator at both sides of the feed line which connected through the via hole to the ground plane, unnecessary frequency bands are eliminated. Proposed antenna dimension is $40{\times}60{\times}1mm^3$. It is fabricated on the FR-4 substrate(${\varepsilon}_r$=4.4) using a microstrip line of $50{\Omega}$ for impedance matching. By measurement results, the characteristic of the return loss under -10 dB are 1.714~2.496 GHz, 2.977~4.301 GHz, and 4.721~6.315 GHz, and the radiation patterns have omni-directional shapes.
Block chain technology is one of the core elements for realizing the 4th industrial revolution, and many efforts have been made by government and companies to provide services based on block chain technology. In this study we analyzed the benefits of block chain technology for EVMS and designed EVMS block chain platform with increased data security and work efficiency for project management data, which are important assets in monitoring progress, foreseeing future events, and managing post-completion. We did the case studies on the benefits of block chain technology and then conducted the survey study on security, reliability, and efficiency of block chain technology, targeting 18 block chain experts and project developers. And then, we interviewed EVMS system operator on the compatibility between block chain technology and EVM Systems. The result of the case studies showed that block chain technology can be applied to financial, logistic, medical, and public services to simplify the insurance claim process and to improve reliability by distributing transaction data storage and applying security·encryption features. Also, our research on the characteristics and necessity of block chain technology in EVMS revealed the improvability of security, reliability, and efficiency of management and distribution of EVMS data. Finally, we designed a network model, a block structure, and a consensus algorithm model and combined them to construct a conceptual block chain model for EVM system. This study has the following contribution. First, we reviewed that the block chain technology is suitable for application in the defense sector and proposed a conceptual model. Second, the effect that can be obtained by applying block chain technology to EVMS was derived, and the possibility of improving the existing business process was derived.

This case study was conducted by verification the site characteristics based on the questionnaire and interview obtained from the all factories located at No. 1 developing area in Kumi industrial complex. The site characteristics were presumed from the process of location behavior and spatial linkage. Kumi industrial complex was developed to improve export industry at national levels by providing chief land price and benefiting various tax. Kumi industrial complex which enticed many factories is playing an important role in export industry in Korea. At beginning, the detention of large enterprises promoted the establishment of related small to medium sized factories into the complex. Two distinctive industries. textile and electronic, were reflected by the purpose to establish the complex and industrial characteristics of Taegu city. respectively. In Kumi industrial complex, positive responses on traffic and raw material supply and negative reactions on the environmental impact on social community as well as high labor charge were investigated. Especially the higher labor cost prevented to hire laborers effectively. In the linkages of spatial and raw material, most factories in the complex depended on the availability of out side the Kumi city. For the textile factories, the supply of raw material and parts were relied on Taegu and/or other cities, whereas in electronic factories purchased them mainly from other cities and partly from abroad. Although questionnaire and interview suggested it, most of the parts were supplied by a parts maturing companies on the complex to a few large enterprises. In the marketing linkage, textile factories revealed higher relation-ship with the foreign countries and sewing factories in Korea. On the other hand, electronic factories have strong relation-ships in the marketing linkage to the parts supplying companies in the complex or large-scale resembling companies in other cities. In the textile companies, the right for decision on purchasing raw materials and parts is belonging to the owner whereas mother enterprise usually have the right for the marketing. In the case of the electronic factories, all the purchasing activities are related to the sub-contracting companies. In the service linkage, the Quality of the service created spatial distinction. There was high linkages on inside of Kumi complex for the low grade services such as repairing and installing machines, whereas strong linkages on outside of the complex for the high grade services such as management, law, taxation, new product development. and manufacturing technology. In the linkages of activity on the R&D (research and development), electronic factories do not have sufficiently qualified institutes in the complex. Strong regional linkages in the field of textile and electronic industries revealed limitations of the local industrial complex. In the sub-contracting linkage, high linkage ship within Kumi boundary reflected the characteristics of industrial site in the complex. There, most decisions by the companies centered by the mother enterprise.
