This study aims to apply QFD model to improve and evaluate library service quality using user needs priorities. The library of the D University is presented as a case study. QFD is a powerful quality management method in which customer needs are translated into appropriate technical requirements for each stage of product/service development. To apply QFD in the field of library services, first library user needs and their AHP, satisfaction and importance degrees were examined via focus group interview. Second, the service improvement engineering characteristics for satisfying the user needs and their relationship/correlations matrices were defined by interviewing library practitioners and experts. Finally, the data collected was entered using CUPID solution, and then HOQ to improve library service quality of the D University was constructed. This study focused on QFD method and its application as a tool for improving the quality of library service.

Recently, the mobile Internet is rapidly changing environment in a user's web server performance requires frequent connection is difficult because the proper response is needed to improve the performance of web services engine. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to improve the performance of web services for the installation of additional access to users regardless of tomcat servlet container and process the request and to shorten processing time of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) message of the server structure to of for web mobile services. The web-sever structure is consists of user demand receiver, web document processor, SOAP protocol processor, NBTM(Non-Blocking and Thread Manager) manager, session manager. The system fully supports a standard web-service protocol, reduces the message processing time and communication overhead of mobile web-service system in Web 2.0 and overhead of server, and confirms the improvement of capability by comparing and evaluating Web 2.0 standard mobile web-service system through delaying achievement evaluation by the experiment of realization in Web 2.0 environment.

This study is to find a service that improves the subjective happiness of cancer patients that receive radiation therapy. One hundred and one cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy were enrolled in the survey to verify the self-consciousness and symptom distress that could affect the subjective happiness. Independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation were conducted with the SPSS 20.0 program. Symptom distress of cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy showed highest in the order of fatigue, appearance changes, dizziness, loss of appetite, and sleep disorders. And lower symptom distress, higher private self-consciousness were significantly correlated with higher subjective happiness among patients receiving radiation therapy for cancer. Study findings reflect the necessity of an integrative approach combining physical, psychological and emotional interventions during a radiotherapy period. For this cause, it would be necessary to supplement previously existing service programs and organize a patient-friendly system that could affiliate regional cancer centers or Public health centers with the hospitals in which the patients are being treated.

Internet of Things includes the whole process of collected information generated from a variety of objects, as well as analyzing and sharing it, and providing useful information services to people. This study seeks ways to improve security and safety in the areas of service security technology, ID management technology and service access control, all of which take place in the IoT environment. We have implemented the services that can design and issue C&C (Certificate and Capability) service token authentication, which is based on a public key, to improve the service security. In addition, we suggest LCRS (Left Child-Right Sibling) resource model management for the efficient control of resources when generating the resource services from the data collected from node devices. We also implemented an IoT services platform to manage URL security of the resource services and perform access control for services.

최근 인터넷 상에서 동영상을 비롯하여 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 제공되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 스트림 서비스 기술과 분산 객체 기술의 접목이 시도되고 있고, 다양한 스트림 서비스 관리 모델과 이를 지원하기 위한 프로토콜에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 기존에 제시된 관리 모델들은 스트림 전송의 서비스 질(QoS)에 대한 지원이 미흡한 실정이다. 또한, QoS에 관련된 기능들이 특정 응용 서비스의 부속 모듈에 개발됨에 따라, 확장이나 재사용하지 못하는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 분산 객체 기술의 표준인 CORBA를 기반으로 확장 및 재사용이 용이하고 스트림을 지원하기 위한 QoS 지원 통합 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 제안된 모델은 사용자 모듈, QoS 관리 모듈 및 스트림 객체의 세가지 컴포넌트로 구성되며, QoS 관리 모듈은 자원 모니터링, 협약과 자원 적응 기법을 제공하여 QoS를 향상시키고, 사용자 모듈과 스트림 객체간의 상호 연동(interaction)을 지원토록 하였다.

The SSL(Secure Socket Layer) protocol is one of the mechanism widely used in the recent network system. The improved information security mechanism based on the SSL is designed in this paper. There are important four information security services. The first is the authentication service using the Certificate offered from the SSL(Secure Socket Layer), the second is the message confidentiality service using the DES encryption algorithm, the third is the message integrity service using Hash function, and the fourth is Non-repudiation service. Therefore, information could be transferred securely under the information security mechanism including Non-repudiation service especially designed in this paper.

최근 실내 환경에서 영상 정보를 사용하여 로봇이 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연구가 활발하다. 과거 영상 처리 접근 방법은 산업 환경과 같은 예측 가능한 환경을 바탕으로 미리 정의된 기하학적 모델을 통해 상황을 인식하였기에, 이를 실내 환경과 같은 가변적인 환경에 적용할 시 성능이 저하된다. 이에 지식을 기반으로 불확실성을 해결하여 정확도를 향상 시킴으로써 영상 인식 성능을 높이기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 실내에서 활동하는 서비스 로봇의 물체인식 성능을 향상시키기 위해, 대상 물체가 다른 물체에 의해서 가려져 있는 경우 대상 물체의 존재 여부를 추론하기 위한 베이지안 네트워크 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 작은 단위로 설계된 베이지안 네트워크들을 상황에 따라 결합하여 추론 모델이 구성되게 하였고 물체간의 관계를 효과적으로 표현하고 초기 확률 값을 단일하게 유지하기 위해 제안된 확률 값 설정 방법을 사용하였다. 실험은 물체 관계를 추론하는 모듈의 성능을 검증하기 위해 수행되었는데, 5가지 장소에서 82.8$\%$의 정확도를 보여주었다.

최근 인터넷을 통한 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스 이용이 증가함에 따라 스트리밍 서비스 품질을 향상 시키기 위한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 하지만 기존 연구들은 네트워크 상태에 적응적으로 전송률을 조절함으로써 네트워크의 효율성 및 안전성을 개선하는데 초점을 맞추고 있어서 사용자 측면의 체감품질에 대한 고려가 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스의 사용자 체감품질 (QoE)을 향상시키기 위한 적응적인 전송률 및 비디오 품질 조절 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 네트워크의 가용대역폭과 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태를 기반으로 전송률 및 비디오 품질을 조절함으로써 멀티미디어 재생의 불연속성과 잦은 비디오 품질 변화에 의한 사용자 체감품질을 개선하였다. 시험 결과를 통해서 제안하는 기법이 부드럽게 (Smoothly) 비디오 품질을 조절하는 것을 보였다.

인증서기반의 인터넷뱅킹과 온라인증권거래에서, 금융거래 서비스 제공자는 많은 사용자의 인증서상태 검증이 요구된다. 금융거래 서비스는 사용자 인증서상태를 실시간의 검증이 보장되어야 한다. 인증서 상태 검증을 위해 기존의 CRL(Certificate Revocation List), Delta CRL, Freshest CRL과 실시간 인증서상태 검증을 위하여 OCSP(Online Certificate Status Protocol)의 표준이 제안된 바 있다. 실시간성과 검증속도는 상호 대비되기 때문에 응용프로그램의 특성을 고려하여 인증서상태 검증방법을 채택한다. 본 논문에서는 CRL의 갱신되기 이전의 폐지에 대하여 실시간으로 전송하는 시스템을 설계한다. 제안하는 인증서폐지 전송서버는 서명자의 검증자 리스트를 관리하여 금융거래 사용자가 CA에 폐지를 요청하면 사용자가 이용하는 금융거래 서비스 제공자들에게 실시간으로 폐지를 고지한다. 본 논문은 CRL 생성이후 갱신까지의 인증서 폐지정보를 검증자에게 전송하여 인증서의 실시간 상태정보를 유지하면서 OCSP보다는 검증속도를 향상시켜 금융거래 환경에서 향상된 효율성을 제공한다.
