공항서비스 질에 대한 이용객의 인식이 전반적인 공항이용의 매력도와 직결되므로 그 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다. 반면 현 제주국제공항은 활주로의 수용능력도 부족 할 뿐만 아니라 여객 터미널의 수용 능력, 운항 횟수 20만 초과 할 것으로 예상하고 있다. 또한 2011년 11월 11월 NEW7WONDERS에서 7대 자연경관으로 선정됨으로서 세계화, 개방화 그리고 관광객 증가에 따른 항공 수요 증가 추세이다. 공항산업이 빠르게 변화하고 있고 제주지역 발전 속도에 따른 장래 항공수요를 감안하여 제주국제공항의 시설에 대한 기대수준과 만족수준을 측정해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 공항의 독특한 서비스 환경에 대한 공항이용객들의 기대 역할 실증연구를 통해 기대와 만족간의 차이분석 연구를 하는데 목적이 있다. 제주국제공항 이용객들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 이용객들이 기대하는 공항서비스 품질은 무엇인지를 분석하였다. 향후 공항서비스 품질관리에 관한 개선사항을 제시할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용되고자 한다.

인터넷 서비스 품질의 향상을 위해 고성능 서버의 증설 및 트래픽 분산 등 서비스 대역의 확장으로 인터넷 접속 장치인 서버 및 가입자망의 접속 속도는 급속히 향상되었으나, 인터넷의 접속 품질과 속도에 대한 만족도는 기대에 못 미치고 있다. 이러한 문제는 인터넷 접속장치의 증설로는 증가하는 트래픽을 수용하는 데에는 한계가 있고, 사용자측 노드에서 CP(Content Provider) 서버를 이르는 미들마일(Middel-mile) 구간이 개선되지 못하는데 원인이 있다. 본 논문에서는 지역적으로 분산된 멀티 사이트 인터넷 환경에서 각 클라이언트의 위치에 따라 클러스터링된 서버들의 로드 밸런싱을 유지하면서 서버와 사용자 측 노드를 최소화하여 사용자에게 효율적인 서버를 선택하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법에는 효율적인 서버를 선택하기 위해 네트워크 상태 감시자(NSP)와 컨텐츠 서버 관리자를 두어 각 서버의 상태와 각 분산된 네트워크의 상태를 파악할 수 있도록 하였으며, 서버 선택 알고리즘과 알고리즘을 실현하기 위한 서비스 구조를 제시하였다. 또한, 효율적인 서비스 서버를 선택하기 위한 인자들과 측정방법을 나타내었으며, 제안된 서비스 구조에서 실험을 통하여 타당성을 확인하였다.

인터넷의 급속한 확산과 함께, 보다 나은 품질의 실시간, 멀티미디어 통신 서비스가 요구되고 있다. 하지만 인터넷은 모든 트래픽에 대해서 최선형 서비스만을 제공하기 때문에 모든 트래픽은 동일한 서비스 품질을 가지게 되므로 이러한 요구를 만족시킬 수 없다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 분류자, 패킷 스케쥴러, 수락 제어로 구현된 트래픽 제어부를 이용하는 인터넷 종합 서비스 모델이 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 SCFQ(Self-Clocked Fair Queueing)스케쥴링 알고리즘을 사용한 라우터를 구현하였고, 실험을 통하여 실시간 트래픽의 성능을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 기존의 인터넷 환경에서의 실시간 트래픽의 지연과 처리율을 측정하였고, 이를 스케쥴링 알고리즘이 구현된 시스템과 비교하였다.

미래 지식정보사회는 컴퓨터, 통신, 방송 등 모든 정보통신 기기가 하나의 네트워크에 연결되는 BcN 기반의 네트워크사회(Broadband Network Society)로 빠르게 진화할 전망이다. BeN은 엑세스망, IP전달망, 제어/서비스망(교환망 IP전환)의 3개 계층을 모두 포함하는 개념이나 엑세스망, IP전달망은 기존과 통일한 IP방식으로 추진 중이어서 IP기반의 제어/서비스망 신규 구축 및 교환망의 IP로의 전환을 협의의 BcN이라 정의 한다. PSTN에서 BcN망으로 전환 시 BeN망의 구성 요소는 소프트스위치, TGW, AGW, SGW, 응용서버, 미디어서버 등이 있다. PSTN망이 BcN망으로 전환시 크게 3단계의 과정을 거친다. 1단계로 2007년 상반기에 전남 목포지역의 지능망 서비스가 불가한 시외교환기가 BcN으로 전환되었다. 전환 후의 IP망을 경유하는 음성호의 트래픽을 측정한 결과는 발생호는 증가하였으며 완료율은0.06% 감소하였지만 관리 기준내의 양호한 수준이었다. 향후 음성호의 통화 품질을 높이기 위해서 품질 측정을 통한 기준 미달 항목을 조치하고 트래픽 측정을 통한 소통율, 완료율 불량 구간에 대한 지속적인 개선 활동을 해야 한다.

This study tries to develop and testify the structural equation model(SEM) for customer satisfaction of information commons in digital library(NDL) of the National Library of Korea and to calculate library customer satisfaction index (LCSI) based both on customers' perceptions and the staff members' expectations. It also compares the customers' perceptions with the staff members' expectations about service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. Full mediation model is better fit than partial mediation model for this study, and it is proved that this model can be used for both groups. This study calculate LCSI for the information commons as 75.69. The comparison the customers' perceptions with the staff members' expectations shows that all of the figures of the former are higher than those of the latter.

Promoting quality of streaming service in wireless networks has attracted intensive research over the years. Instable wireless channel condition causes high transmission delay and packet loss, due to fading and interference. Therefore, they lead to degrade quality of video streaming service. The IEEE 802.11 Working Group is currently working on a new standard called IEEE 802.11e to support quality of service in WLANs. And several schemes were proposed in order to guarantee QoS. However, they are not adaptable to network condition. Accordingly, they suffered video quality degradation, due to buffer overflow or packet loss. In this paper, to promote quality of video streaming service in WLANs, we propose a cross-layer architecture based on IEEE 802.11e EDCA model. Our cross-layer architecture provides differentiated transmission mechanism of IEEE 802.11e EDCA based on priority of MPEG-4 video frames and adaptively controls the transmission rate by dropping video frames through the efficient bandwidth estimation based on distinction of each AC. Through the simulation, proposed scheme is shown to be able to improve end-to-end qualify for video streaming service in WLANs.

Most metadata quality measurement employ simple techniques by counting error records. This study presents a new quantitative measurement of metadata quality using advanced weighting schemes in order to overcome the limitations of exiting measurement techniques. Entropy, user tasks, and usage statistics were used to calculate the weights. Integrated weights were presented by combining these weights and were applied to actual journal article metadata. Entropy weights were found to reflect the characteristics of the data itself. User tasks presented the required metadata elements to solve user's information need. Integrated weights showed balanced measures without being affected by the influence of error elements, This finding indicates the new method being suitable for quantitative measurement of metadata quality.

This study aims to evaluate the quality of CD-ROM databases: Korean MARC on Disc and Korean National Bibliographies on CD-ROM. The five criteria(accuracy, completeness, consistency on the quality of data itself and ease of use, variety of retrieval function on the quality of database services) are used to measure their quality. The purpose of this study was to diagnose the quality of two CD-ROM databases mentioned above and to analyses the measured result of quality comparatively and to find out the problems of them and also to provide possible suggestions for their improvements.

초고속해상무선통신망 전국연안 구축사업에 앞서 해양수산부는 2017년에 강릉항, 부산항, 목포항에 시험망을 구축하여 해상 LTE망에 대한 다양한 시험을 실시하였다. 한국정보통신기술협회(이하 'TTA')는 한국형 e-Navigation 사업의 협동연구기관 자격으로 초고속해상 무선통신망 품질검증 업무를 수행하고 있다. 본 고에서는 2017년에 구축된 시험망에 대한 TTA 품질 측정 결과를 소개하고 전국연안 확산에 앞서 고려되어야 할 주요 시사점을 제시한다.

In point of fact, there is a lack of explicit models that explain how services are perceived and evaluated by consumers who use them; present research on service quality has begun as a measure to complement this development. In this study, we applied the service quality model of PZB model based on Parasuraman et al.(1988) and the BNC model based on Brady and Cronin(2001), and compared the superiorities of each model. As a result of analyzing the questionnaire provided for terminal users, the BNC model is more superior than the PZB model. The increase in the number of factors led to an increase in the provided information, as a result of this, the model's explanatory power seems to be high. The results of this study may be different according to the characteristics of the industry, but we hope that the results presented in this study will lead to the expansion of the scope of research for the port loading and unloading business in the future.
