This study is performed to analyze the fluid flow about 150mm shower heads of semiconductor device. Under the air pressure, the ideal gas of moving fluid is injected as 5m/s velocity into inlet of shower heads and the flow distribution in shower heads is measured according to pitch of plasma distribution device. As results, the maximum and minimum value of fluid velocity are investigated with their position. The velocity values at outlet are also studied. From two experiment using the plasma distribution device, the results of CFD are compared with the experimental results. That results shows stable flow of fluid in that case of corrected design from CFD.

노인 및 거동 불편 환자들이 목욕 중 낙상 사고 등을 당하는 비율은 매년 증가하고 있다. 특히 국내 65세 이상 1인 가구 197만 가구는(22년 기준) 가족의 돌봄 없이 혼자 생활하고 있어, 이들이 목욕 중에 사고를 당하는 경우, 빠른 구호가 어려운 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 독거노인의 증가와 낙상 사고의 위험성에 초점을 맞추어 거동이 불편한 환자라도 혼자서 목욕이 가능한, 모든 사용자로부터 접근성을 높인 샤워 부스를 개발 및 연구한다. 요양보호사 두 명과 인터뷰를 하여 실제 상황에서의 문제점을 파악한다. 인터뷰 내용을 바탕으로 사용자의 안전을 1순위로 고려하고, 사용 편의성 및 청결을 유지하는 방안을 고려한다.

The fundamental issue of information retrieval in the Internet-based society is closely interrelated with the characteristics of language selected. The McCune-Reischauer Romanization system is not only considered as the international standard for romanizing Korean language, it is also familiar to the majority of the Korean material users internationally. McCune-Reischauer system is adopted by the ISO, UNGEGN, ALA, LC, British PCGN, BL, and the relevant agencies in Europe, Canada and Australia etc. Encouraging for switching to the new Romanization system(2000) would result in complications among the library's catalogs and online databases, causing confusion for both staffs and readers. This paper analysed that the international efforts and rules for Romanizing Korean language materials and recommended direction for bibliographical issues.

This study attempted to solve daily inconveniences and propose a direction for healthy skin care after investigating eating habits, preferred food and shower frequency and analyzing the relationship between these living habits and perceived skin dryness among adult men in their 30-40s who are suffering from pruritus due to dry skin. Most respondents revealed a high level of inconvenience in their daily lives because of dry skin. According to analysis of the correlation between these life habits and skin dryness, they had an effect on skin dryness in most categories of eating habits, preferred food and shower frequency. In particular, as the amount of smoking or preference for sweet food increased, skin dryness became more serious. Therefore, it appears it would be important to control the intake of preferred food and have healthy eating habits in that eating habits and smoking are correlated with skin health, and skin health is an indicator of physical health.

Analysis of behavior pattern and thermal response during bathing and showering provides important fundamental data when developing an automatic bathing/showering system. The behavior pattern and physiological changes during bathing/showering were measured und analyzed for the aged male group. We recorded the volunteers showering at front, back, left and right view using four CCTV cameras in order to study the behavior pattern during showering. The photographic data were analyzed by counting the frequencies of body contact and identifying zones where hands could reach. In order to study the thermal response, we measured the blood pressure (B.P), heart rate (H.R), body temperature (B.T.), breathing rate (B.R) for the different water temperatures and the locations of immersion for the young and old age groups. The results showed that the frequencies of body contacts were varied for different body sections. Also there were some body sections where hands could not be reached because of reduced pliability and muscular strength of the aged group. But we observed rather uniform body contact frequencies when a towel was used. In partial immersion bath experiments, we observed the changes of B.P. H.R and B.T in the case of young and old age groups, and the changes were more significant in the young age group.
