Purpose: This study is the analysis of the relationship between the physical safety of the urban spaces and the aging in place tendency of the elderly. Method: For analysis, the physical safety of the urban space is divided into four elements: outdoor space and building safety, pedestrian safety, transportation safety and living safety, and for aging in place, the 5-point Likert scale was used. A questionnaire survey was conducted for 411 elderly people aged 65 or older living in Seoul for each of the five urban community in Seoul. Results: 78.6% of the respondents answered that they are good at continuing to live in the present living area, the elderly living in Seoul has the high tendency of aging in place. The ratio of respondents who answered that good at living continuedly is in the order of southeast, northwest, southwest, northeast, and downtown. Conclusion: When the percentage of respondents who answered that they are good at staying in the current living area is high, not only the overall physical safety but also the average of the physical safety factors of the urban space are also high, physical safety of urban spaces is a factor affecting aging in place. Based on the results of the study, it can be applied as a method to create a safe city in the process of city development or urban renewal in the future.

The purpose of this study is to examine the awareness survey on the life and laboratory safety of the college students. For the research, data was collected from 442 students of health, engineering, fire fighting and food & cook department. Research tools were used SPSS win 19.0, the mean and standard deviation, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient was used. Comparing the life safety consciousness with laboratory safety consciousness, showed life safety awareness and safety laboratory has recognized the similarities (Pearson's correlation coefficient ${\chi}^2=296.456$, p < 0.001). Results of awareness survey to safety management, the safety awareness are difference with the type of respondents major subjects. This order was Food & Cook > Fire fighting > Health > Engineering department.

사회가 점점 고도화, 다양화, 고속화 하여가는 것과 비례하여 화재에 대한 위험성도 증대하며 일단 화재가 발생하면 그 피해 역시 막대하게 커지고 있습니다. 인간의 생활수준이 의식주를 해결하기에 급급하던 수준을 벗어나면, 즉 소득수준이 높아지면 "우선 살아야 한다"는 의식에서 "어떻게 잘 살 것인가"하는 방향으로 의식의 변화가 일어난다고 합니다. 인명을 존중하고, 생활환경 도시환경 노동환경에 있어서의 안전방재에 대한 의식도 높아진다는 것입니다. 일반적으로 그 의식의 변화는 일인당 국민소득 약 만불($10.000.-)전후에서 일어난다고 합니다. 이와 같은 사회배경을 바탕으로 섬유재료에 있어서도 보다 난연 또는 내열소재를 필요로 하게 되었습니다. 생활수준의 향상으로 일반가정에서 사용하는 전기용품의 종류도 무척 다양해졌으며 사용량도 급격히 증가되어 이로 인한 전기재해(화재, 감전)가 끊이지 않고 있다. 행정자치부 화재통계 연보에 따르면 ''99년도 총 화재발생건수 33,856건 중 전기로 인한 화재가 11,204건으로 33.1$\%$의 높은 점유율을 보이고 있어 일반가정에서의 전기안전 생활화가 절실히 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 일반 가정생활에서 편리하게 사용하고 있는 전기를 보다 더 안전하게 사용하기 위해서 우리 모두가 꼭 알아두어야 할 전기설비에 관한 기초상식, 전기사고의 종류와 예방대책, 정전 시 대처요령 등을 알아본다.

컴퓨터를 활용한 제어 시스템은 우리들의 생활 속에 깊숙이 관여하고 있다. 컴퓨터를 사용한 제어는 가전제품, 휴대폰 항공기, 철도 등 다양한 산업분야에서 응용되고 있으며, 그 적용분야를 넓혀가고 있고, 성능향상이 급속히 진행되고 있으며, 인간생활의 의존도가 점점 커지고 있다. 따라서 컴퓨터의 안전성과 신뢰성은 현재 사회에서 가장 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 최근에 전국적으로 인터넷 망에 바이러스가 침투를 하여, 인터넷을 마비시키는 상태가 발생하여, 상당히 큰 피해를 경험하였다. 이와 같이 컴퓨터 제어 시스템의 기능이 정지되거나 오작동을 할 경우에는 사용자에게 상당한 피해를 줄 수 있다. 따라서 컴퓨터 시스템의 신뢰성과 안전성은 사회전반에 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 반드시 확보해야할 목표 중에 하나이다. The purpose of this study is to suggest improvement measures focusing on traffic accidents in apartment complexes that occur to children among life safety accidents. Roads in most apartment complexes are not "roads" under the Road Traffic Act. In addition, there is no mandatory punishment or regulations, so the perception of the danger of traffic accidents in apartment complexes is very low. Recent, traffic in automobiles and motorcycles is increasing in the apartment complex, and traffic accidents are frequently occurring due to low safety awareness for both drivers and pedestrians. Accordingly, this study attempted to identify cases of traffic accidents in children's apartment complexes and to present problems and improvement measures for accidents. Problems of traffic accidents through child traffic accidents The current affairs are meaningful in that they are aware of dangers to children, carers, and drivers, and suggest traffic safety measures in apartment complexes.

The objectives of the present research are twofold. First, this research aims to compare the effect of trait characteristics(sensation seeking, social resistance and type-A behavior) with that of driving specific characteristics(driving anger and type-A driving) on problematic driving behavior. Second, the role of life stress as a mediator in the relationships between general trait characteristics and traffic safety index was examined. 1158 licensed commercial vehicle drivers were surveyed and their accident-related records were obtained in this research. Results showed that driving specific characteristics were significant indicators of traffic safety and life stress mediated the relationships between general trait characteristics and traffic safety index. These findings implicate that understanding drivers' driving specific characteristics and their levels of life stress is important to reduce problematic driving behaviors and enhance traffic safety.
