The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of depression and life-stress by values in Korean university students. Data were collected by structured questionnaires form 212 students by convenient sampling methods from August to November 2011. The type of values were classified into: personal oriented values, 64.6%; social oriented values, 35.4%. There were no significant differences in depression by values. But there were significant differences in frequency of experiences and importance of life-stress by values. Also, there were significant differences for correlation between depression and life-stress by values. These results suggest that for the university student, the nursing strategies should be developed in order to improve ability to reduce life-stress and depression considering such differences by values. Especially, it is necessary to attention in management of stress and depression for students with personal oriented values.

먼지, 소음$\cdot$진동, 그리고 악취는 쾌$\cdot$불쾌가 다분히 감각적이어서 건강에 미치는 영ㅇ향 뿐만 아니라, 쾌적한 생활공간을 만드는데 중요한 관리 대상이다. 악취에 대한 사람들의 인식의 증가와 함께 생활공간에서의 악취문제는 더욱 연구되어야 할 당면 문제이다.

담배에 대한 첫 번째 질문. 흡연은 습관일까? 질병일까? 혹시 습관이라고 답했다면 당신의 담배에 대한 인식이 적어도 20년은 뒤쳐졌다. 흡연에 따른 건강악화가 사회적 문제로 대두되면서 흡연은 '질병'으로 인식되는 추세이다. 특히 성장이 끝나지 않은 청년기의 흡연이나 임신과 출산을 겪을 여성의 흡연은 더 큰 사회적 문제로 부각되고 있다. 청소년과 여성의 흡연, 무엇이 문제일까?

The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of North Korea defectors' living experiences in South Korea on their self-perceptions and perceptions of South Korea. For this purpose, a questionnaire was distributed to 66 defectors with no living experiences at all and 99 defectors with living experiences of an average of 2.7 years in South Korea. They were asked to rate their own as well as South Koreans' values, personality, attitudes toward sexual misbehavior, gender stereotypes. Also, they evaluated the society of South Korea and its political control. The results indicated that those defectors with living experiences tended to perceive more negatively their own and South Koreans as well, and yet that they were less negative for sexual misbehavior and weaker for gender stereotypes. Also, results suggested that living experiences led defectors to perceive South Korea in a more negative way. Those findings were discussed in terms of changes in culture.

We investigated the extent of recognition and the rate of class practice on the contents relevant to the environmental education in the units of 'Clothing Life' of the 7th 'Technology-Home Economics' curriculum in Korean middle school teachers. Two hundred sixty teachers, who had taught the units of 'Clothing Life' and responded to the questionnaires by mail from December 2007 to January 2008, were enrolled and each item in the questionnaires was analyzed in this study. Most teachers recognized the serious environmental issues in their residential area resulting in a harmful influence on their lives. Also they exhibited increased practice will such as joining to the environmental organizations and showed high practice of the environmental preservation. They commented relatively high rate of class practice on the contents relevant to the environmental education and enhanced practice of the environmental preservation in all units of 'Clothing Life' of the 7th 'Technology-Home Economics' curriculum except the units of 'Clothing Skill and Dress Clothes' and 'Simple Clothes Making'. Moreover, teachers with higher age and longer teaching career had the higher level of recognition and the greater rate of class practice on the environmental education compared to those without. Teachers should try to raise the students' recognition and practice will on the environmental issues in the class of 'Clothing Life' of the 7th 'Technology-Home Economics' curriculum in Korean middle school.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the affecting factors on male salary workers' pre-retirement plans and pre-retirement planning programs. The focus was on male workers' pre-retirement plans and programs for economy, housing, family relationship, leisure and health care in their elderly life. The major findings were as follows: First, the salary workers estimated their level of economic and health problems among their elderly life as relatively high. Second, the major factors affecting the level of planning for post-retirement were salary workers' age, job satisfaction, and reserved savings for their elderly life. Third, the major affecting factors on participation in pre-retirement planning programs were age, educational attainment, and spouse's job status. From these findings, it can be concluded that salary workers' level of pre-retirement planning and the needs of pre-retirement planning programs differed from their personal characteristics and preferences. Also, salary workers' characteristics related to job and retirement had more important effects on their pre-retirement planning than economic status.

도시화가 급속도로 진행됨에 따라서 일상생활에서 생활폐기물의 관리와 처리에 대한 문제가 심각해지고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하고자 어플리케이션을 통해 생활폐기물 처리를 쉽게 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. '싹처리'는 편리성, 정확성, 확장성, 수익성을 가지고 (중)대형 생활 폐기물 처리하는 딥러닝 어플리케이션이다. 어플리케이션 내의 저장된 딥러닝 과정으로 학습되어진 생활폐기물 분류 모델을 통해 폐기물 사진을 자동 인식하는 과정으로 누구나 쉽게 폐기물 배출을 신청할 수 있다. 정확한 딥러닝 알고리즘과 전이학습, 데이터 검수 등을 통해 높은 성능의 사물 자동 인식을 할 수 있다. 이 시스템을 통해 임산부, 장애인, 독거노인 등의 사회적 약자는 불필요한 과정 없이 손쉽게 폐기물을 처리할 수 있고, 더 나아가 중고시장의 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 가치가 있다.

기름값에 대한 언론과 국민의 관심이 높다. 기름값이 우리생활에 미치는 영향이 크기 때문일 것이다. 최근는 경기가 어려워지면서 더욱 민감한 문제가 되고 있는 듯하다. 소비자 단체가 주도하는 '석유시장 감시단'까지 출범한 상황이다. 이러한 관심은 기름값에 대한 불만 때문으로 보인다. 소비자는 정유사가 기름값을 불투명하고 자의적으로 결정한다고 의심한다. 오를 땐 빨리 내릴 땐 천천히 내린다고 불신한다. 과점시장에서 정유사가 담합과 폭리를 취하고 있다고 여긴다. 문제는 이런 인식과 업계의 실상이 너무도 다르다는 데 있다. 정유업계에 대한 부정적 인식은 오랫동안 누적된 선입견과 잘못된 인식에 근거하고 있다. 이것은 기름값이 올라갈 때마다 사실과는 다르게 확대 재생산 되고 있다. 업계에 몸담고 있는 입장에서 참으로 안타까운 현실이다.

우리나라는 1960년대부터 경제성장에 주력한 결과, 국민들의 생활수준은 크게 향상되었으나, 대량생산과 대량소비 생활이 보편화되어, 부수적으로 발생되는 도시쓰레기의 량이 증가하고 있다. 1997년 말 현재 매립장은 전국적으로 537개소, 총 면적은 36,030천$\textrm{m}^2$에 이르고 있으며, 2001년에는 1997년 말의 약 3배가 될 것으로 예측되고 있다. 매립장 인근 지역에 거주하는 주민들에 대한 설문조사 결과를 살펴보면, 환경오염 피해 중 악취에 의한 피해와 침출수로 인한 지하수 오염문제를 가장 심각한 문제로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타나,이러한 문제에 대한 뚜렷한 해결 방법이 제시되지 않는 한 혐오시설로 인식되어진 매립장에 대한 인근주민의 거부감은 줄어들지 않을 것이다.
