  • Since the great success of the Disney animations like , the classification of audience target in animation according to an age group started a possibility of edutainment in the industry. Especially, a few animations for preschool children made by Korea have been largely successful in domestic and foreign markets. The study analyzed a distinguished structure of a story stressed by character by Greimas's theories in the educational animation. The animation for kids as this study target is one of successful contents in edutainment. It also analyzed as one of parallel contents in abroad. It is a meaningful study which considers a story structure of the animation as aspects of edutainment contents for preschool children.

  • As software industry is rapidly evolving, IT business enterprises have been meeting with cutthroat competition in developing software. As software reusability, time to market, and maintainability are considered as a competitive edge, software component techniques have lately attracted considerable attention. Currently, although there are some supporting tools for developing software components, they do not have tight connections among component developing processes such as component identification, component modeling, detailed design, code generation, deployment, and testing. And it is restrictive for users to construct various scales of components on component platform architecture. In this paper, we provide an implementation and a design of a supporting tool for constructing platform-independent software components, which covers all development lifecycles of components. In the phase of component modeling, platform independent, conceptual components are identified from domain model information in the view of system partitioning. Detailed design and implementation of a component are performed on the J2EE platform architecture. And the changes on the design model and source codes are consistently managed by using round-trip techniques.

  • This paper aims to establish the cultural tourism strategy for culture-based city Gwangju. For this purpose, six key words 'topic, viewpoint, strategy, creation, change, project' are presented. The topic part includes the concept and paradigm of culture-based city Gwangju, The viewpoint part includes the cultural politics of tourism. The strategy part presents creative tourism as a vision of tourism, planning for the alternative cultural tourism contents, seven core types of Gwangju cultural tourism, and the five strategies of creative tourism Gwangju. The Creation part and the change part include respectively Gwangju place marketing strategy and the method of making creative cultural tourism subjects. Finally, the core projects of Gwangju creative tourism named 4CT projects are presented.

  • This study is to critically examine a variety of perspectives of seeing the interactions among space, people, and society. According to Tuan, place is a center of meaning constructed by people's experience, and its attributes consist of natural and built-up environments. Entrikin suggests a way of seeing place from a contrary perspective, that is, the subjective and existential sense of place and the objective and naturalistic conception of place. Lefebvre examines the historical transformation of social space through the dialectics among the perceived space, the conceived space, and the lived space. Social space is (re)produced and changed through the conflictual unit of the spatial triad. The project of Foucault's spatial metaphor is to tightly combine three critical concepts, power, knowledge, and space. Those concepts are not objectively existed regardless of specific times and spaces, but they are socially and culturally constructed through the networks of people under particular environments. In the following papers, it is needed to comparatively examine the various perspectives mentioned above to make a new conceptual framework of understanding the interactions among space, people, and society.

  • In component based development, component modeling for understanding and analyzing is the important part and is used to improve reusability. Generally, components are need to be divided into two types according to their usages, where the developer and assembler are usually different. To make a good component model, a complete component and interface specification for those components are needed. And the component model needs to adept two different views of developer and assembler. In this paper, we suggest two different views of component model that is related to views from developer and assembler, and we expand UML. Also we validate the efficiency of the suggested model by developing and applying a tool for building, managing and automatic transformation.

고밀도 플라즈마를 이용한 스퍼터링 기술 연구

  • 스퍼터링 기술은 타겟 사용 효율 및 증착률 향상 개념에서의 소스 특성향상과, 증착 기판으로 이동하는 스퍼터링 입자량 및 이온화율 제어를 통한 코팅 박막의 특성향상 등 크게 두 축을 중심으로 발전되어 왔다. 특히 소스 특성 향상 관점에서 고진공에서의 스퍼터링 기술, 듀얼 마그네크론 스퍼터링 및 무빙 마그네트론 스퍼터링 기술 및 원통형 스퍼터링 기술이 개발되어왔으며, 코팅 박막의 특성 향상과 관련하여서는 스퍼터링 방전 내 플라즈마의 밀도의 증대 및 기판 입사 입자의 에너지 제어를 통한 박막의 치밀도 향상 연구가 많이 이루어져, UBM 또는 ICP 결합 스퍼터링 및 Arc-스퍼터링 혼합공정이 연구되어 왔다. 박막 증착에서 박막의 물성을 조절하는 주요인자는, 기판에 입사하는 입자의 에너지로, 그 조절 범위가 좁고 넓음에 따라 활용 가능한 코팅 공정의 window가 설정된다. 지난 15년간 증착박막의 물성 향상을 위하여 스퍼터링 소스의 제어 관점이 아닌 전원적 관점에서 스퍼터된 입자의 에너지 제어를 MF(kHz), Pulse 전원 사용을 통해 이루어져 왔고, 특히 High Impulse Pulse를 이용한 HiPIMS 기법이 연구개발과 시장의 이해가 잘 어울려져 많은 발전을 이루고 있다. HiPIMS 공정은 박막의 물성을 제어하는 관점을 스퍼터링에 사용되는 보조 가스인 Ar 이온에 의존하지 않고, 직접 스퍼터된 입자의 이온화를 증대시키고, 이 이온화된 입자를 활용하여 증착 박막의 치밀성 및 반응성을 증대시켜, 박막특성을 제어하는 기술이다. HiPIMS의 경우, 초기 개발 당시에는 고에너지, 고이온화의 금속 이온을 대량 생성할 수 있다는 이론적 배경에서 연구되었다. 그러나 연구 개발이 진행되면서, 박막의 물성과 증착률 등 상반된 특성이 나타나면서 이에 대한 전원장치의 개량이나 스퍼터링 소스의 개선 등 다양한 개발 연구들이 요구되고 있다. 재료연구소에서는 스퍼터링 기술에서 가장 문제가 되고 있는 타겟 사용효율화 관점 및 스퍼트된 입자의 이온화률 증대에 대한 두 가지 문제를 동시에 해결할 수 있는 방안으로 고밀도 플라즈마를 이용한 스퍼터링 기술을 개발하고 있다. 본 발표에서는 이러한 HiPIMS의 연구 개발 동향과 고밀도 플라즈마를 이용한 스퍼터링 기술에 대한 연구 동향을 발표하고자 한다.

  • Product Lifecycle Management is a well-defined management method consisting of 8 knowledge areas. Since the 4th industrial revolution is closely related to smart factories, the importance of product lifecycle management, which effectively manages the entire process from product idea generation to disposal, is emerging. This study analyzed the current and future applications of the knowledge domain of product life cycle management from the perspective of the 4th industrial revolution for experts in the field of product life cycle management. The expert's perception was analyzed from the current point of view and the future point of view to see how the product life cycle management knowledge area is applied in the field. The current and future application degree of the knowledge domain of product life cycle management was analyzed, and whether there was a difference between the knowledge domains in terms of the level of application was analyzed. Based on the analyzed results, its meaning and future flow are presented.

  • The Korean Librarian Association was established in 1990 for the professionalization of the librarian in Korea. So far there has been no research with the association as a main subject in spite of its importance in the history of Korean Libraries. In this study, we attempt to investigate the meaning and the importance of the association from the view point of professionalism. As a professional association, the Korean Librarian Association tried to get professional autonomy from the governing bodies and the market to reach higher level in professionalization. But the activities of the association has been radically declined since 1997, which would be affected by the character of librarianship that is mainly based not on individual characteristics but on organizational characteristics.

An Evaluation of an Information Sharing Workflow Using Data Provenance Semantics (데이터 생성의미를 활용한 정보공유구조의 효과성 비교 연구)

  • For effective information sharing, data provenance semantics need to be managed effectively. Based on a scheme to represent data provenance semantics, we propose a model to calculate information sharing costs. Information sharing costs are derived from probabilities of type I and type II errors that occur in organizational information sharing, costs related to these errors, and information sharing distances between organizational units which are determined by information sharing workflows. We apply the model to various types of information sharing workflows including departmental information systems, hierarchical information systems, a hub and a stand-alone system. The calculated information sharing costs show that the hub with data standardization is best in information sharing; however without standardization its information sharing cost deteriorates to that of a departmental information system. And, any information sharing workflow is better than a stand-alone system. It is proved that the model is useful in analyzing effectiveness of information sharing workflows and their characteristics.

  • Generative AI, especially conversational AI like ChatGPT, has recently gained traction as a technological alternative for automating customer service. However, there is still a lack of research on whether current generative AI technologies can effectively replace traditional human managers in customer service automation, and whether they are advantageous in some situations and disadvantageous in others, depending on the conditions and environment. To answer the question, "Can generative AI replace human managers in customer service activities?", this study conducted experiments and surveys on customer online reviews of a food delivery platform. We applied the perspective of the elaboration likelihood model to generate hypotheses about whether there is a difference between positive and negative online reviews, and analyzed whether the hypotheses were supported. The analysis results indicate that for positive reviews, generative AI can effectively replace human managers. However, for negative reviews, complete replacement is challenging, and human managerial intervention is considered more desirable. The results of this study can provide valuable practical insights for organizations looking to automate customer service using generative AI.
