RYUTSUKEIRETSUKA(Vertical Marketing System) developed by the Japanese Leading Manufacturers began to turn weak with the presence of the large- scaled retail enterprises since 1980’s. Therefore the alliances between major manufacturers & large distributors that were in the conflict relations for a long time began to progress. In accordance with this change in the distribution channel practice, the stance of the distribution channel theory in Japan had also changed. As the normative researcher group who had been critical to RYUTSUKEIRETSUKA and sympathetic to the task of merchant judged that it would disappear sooner or later, they considered positively the alliances between major manufacturers & large distributors which the latter were in dominant position. On the other hand, even the empirical researchers who supported the affirmative function of RYUTSUKEIRETSUKA changed their standpoint. They recognized the new channel practice, in other words the vertical alliances between the power companies, would be the frontier of research in accordance with the impetus of positivism in terms of the Marketing methodology. Thus, researchers of distribution channel theory in Japan who supported the normative approach become few and even changed to hurry to absorb in the empirical research, while moving the main focus of the research from RYUTSUKEIRETSUKA to the Alliances. In the long run, the distribution channel theory which was regarded as the leading principle of the Japanese Marketing has just made the methodological paradigm shift. The author suggests a critical viewpoint against the current Japan’s academism with the assumption that RYUTSUKEIRETSUKA has negative aspects.

This study was initiated with the attention of demanding new and diverse approaches, we're talking familiar with imitations in the design process like a way to draw a image. So I studied a convergence of humanities and visual arts with the understanding and conceptual approach of the formless. The purpose of this study is to develop formless languages and to organize practical courses which are to enable deeper research and design expression on theoretical approaches and explanations of outcomes required before and after the process when we practice in connection with the formless. The method of this study is to draw detailed items from selected words through advanced researches, work and author researches and practice teaching. The results of the study I proposed the formless language that is related to the horizontality in spatial positioning system, and pulse in the separation of space and time, and entropy in structural orders of the system, and base materialism in the limitation of matter as the operating mechanism and parent item of formless. And those elements are related with shape, size, shading, color, texture, space, structure as visual elements of formative elements and those have various adjectival meanings as the subordinate concept. So I presented an education materials of basic design which is to enable understanding and expressing the formless language in the overall process of formless visual art(theoretical approach, practice course, presentation, etc.). Based on these study results, I hope that this educational materials will be used as educational contents that makes them express and understand different new beauties, and a role that reveals social identity, and a reference for research on a formless visual arts.

Conventional GrabCut algorithm is semi-automatic algorithm that user must be set rectangle window surrounds the object. This paper studied automatic object detection to solve these problem by detecting salient region based on Human Visual System. Saliency map is computed using Lab color space which is based on color opposing theory of 'red-green' and 'blue-yellow'. Then Saliency Points are computed from the boundaries of Low-Frequency region that are extracted from Saliency Map. Finally, Rectangle windows are obtained from coordinate value of Saliency Points and these windows are used in GrabCut algorithm to extract objects. Through various experiments, the proposed algorithm computing rectangle windows of salient region and extracting objects has been proved.

Purpose: Evaluating the possibility of Korean traditional folk paintings in the development of eyewear accessories. Methods: Esthetic values with vivid colour and layout of Korean traditional folk painting was evaluated. Reevaluation of those values was applied into eyeglass cleaners and eyeglass case with modernized fashion. Those accessories had an advantage of suitable space to represent visually images of the paintings. Results: Currently, Korean traditional folk paintings receives attention as an international cultural contents. Therefore, it would be possible to enhance cultural consumption of the product whose image was changed with cultural image of the paintings. Conclusions: Utilization of esthetic values into eyeglass makes a positive effects of eyewear accessories, which can be resulted in an expanding international market of eyewear accessories.

This paper has conducted the contents and visual points of view in webmagazine. Through case study, the following and identify for the analysis of the webmagazine contents and visual format. Firstly, communication at webmagazine is carried out at the user-centered atmosphere. Secondly, Even through an aesthetic is emphasized in the webmagazine, when web designer compose of the web site, it is necessary to find the proper methodology under the basis of user's behavior. Thirdly, Although webmagazine required the visual form, we should know that the evaluation of webmagazine should be implemented by users. Therefore, webmagazine should be designed by the user-centered layout.

The purpose of this study was to compare the visual sensibility of red shirts in university students of two countries, Korea and China in order to suggest the color planning for shirts. Seven tonal red shirts' visual sensibility and preferences were evaluated by the students of Korea and from China in the sense of sight. Evaluated data were analyzed by using frequency analysis, average, factor analysis and t-test. The visual sensibility of red shirts was classified into three factors: sporty, romantic and classic. Those factors of visual sensibility showed a significant difference according to nationality and gender. The Chinese students had a more sporty feel to the strong tone, and a more classic feel to the dark tone than the Korean students. The deep tone red shirts was reputed to be more romantic by the Korean students, but the light tone and the pale tone were considered more romantic by the Chinese students. Meanwhile, the effects of nationality and gender on seven tone of preferences for red shirts was significantly differed.

This article focused on contemporary American animation since the 1990s and later detailed clues to the theory that contemporary pop art style influenced contemporary American animation art creation expression and contemporary American animation. Knowing why American animation swept the world summarizes the art creation characteristics of modern American animation. After a combination of theoretical and actual animation works, the main manifestations of the postmodern pop art style in contemporary American animation: exaggerated and superficial shapes highlight character characteristics; rebellious colors reconstruct emotional perception; creation impacts the mass media-dependence; bizarre collage and repetition, embodying the postmodern pop spirit of jokes and spoofs, Etc. Through this, it is expected that the current analysis of American animation will provide new innovative ideas for domestic animation design and increase the competitiveness of domestic animation in international video animation.

Design exists behind technology. Design is intertwined with the needs of daily life and market structures, and while dealing with technology, it can become insensitive to its meaning. Unlike other social media platforms, Instagram consists of image-based content. The purpose of this study is to examine the addictive design of Instagram. Furthermore, we discuss the ethical responsibilities that designers must have. A theoretical framework for understanding Instagram design is established through a review of major domestic and international literature that has been previously studied. Understand the history, structure, and functions of Instagram and identify Instagram designs that promote social media addiction. In this study, we introduced the mechanism by which Instagram promotes user addiction through design issues. (1) Pull-to-Refresh (2) Red color in push alarm (3) Profile photo border expression in Instagram Story. This design stimulates users' social desires and FOMO, forming the structure of obsessive Instagram usage habits. Instagram is an example that forces us to reconsider the ethical role of design and designers along with the advancement of technology. In today's world, the intrinsic value of what they create, including our society and life itself.

This study was conducted in order to look for how to create added values by combining cultural contents with other industries effectively. For this purpose, we examined in what directions the tourist industry, which is the main industry of the Jeju Special Self-governing Province, should be combined with cultural contents. It is widely admitted that cultural contents can create various added values, but there have been insufficient efforts to develop cultural contents and link them to added values. In particular, local self-governing bodies' understanding of cultural contents is seriously poor. In order to improve this, we need to have appropriate perception of cultural contents and to change our idea for effective linking of cultural contents to added values. Thus, this study proposed that the development of cultural contents is achieved not simply through the development of contents but through the combination of various methods including the establishment of product development strategies, the establishment of tourist program development strategies, and the integration of slogans.
