  • The aim of this study is to analyze the President Directions Item using Semantic Network Analysis. This study has three contributions. First, this study shows the difference of policy directions through the frequency and contents of key words. Second, this study suggest patterns changes of decision-making of the president and bureaucracy through the key words network structure. Third, this study infers the interaction between the president's will and context of institutions.

  • 기후 시스템의 다양한 상호작용으로 인해 나타나는 대표적 현상인 강우는 수문학적 분석 과정의 필수적인 요소이며 장기 강우를 예측하는 것은 효율적인 수자원 관리에 중요한 기반이 되고 있다. 이러한 강우는 장기적으로 지구의 대기-해양 순환 패턴의 영향을 받으며, 특히 엘니뇨와 라니냐와 같은 기상 이변이 발생할 경우 대규모 순환에 변화가 일어나게 되어 강우에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지구의 순환 패턴 특성을 수치화한 전지구적 기상인자 중에서 우리나라 장기 강우를 예측하기 위한 기상인자를 선정하고 시계열 모형 구축을 통하여 예측력을 평가하였다. 이를 위해 강우에 내재된 다양한 대기-해양 순환 패턴으로부터 나타나는 주기적 요소를 추출하기 위해 앙상블 경험적 모드분해법을 사용하여 강우를 분해한 후, 각 분해된 강우자료와 전지구적 기상인자와의 상관성 분석을 통해 높은 상관성을 가진 기상인자를 선별하고 단계식 변수선택법으로부터 유의미한 기상인자를 최종적으로 선정하였다. 그 결과, 우리나라 기상청 60개 지점의 월별 강우자료 중 전반적으로 영향을 미치는 기상인자를 선정할 수 있었으며, 선정된 기상인 자로 구축된 시계열 모형을 통해 우리나라 장기 강우를 예측하였다.

  • Approaches to find hidden values using various and enormous amount of data are on the rise. As big data processing becomes easier, companies directly collects data generated from users and analyzes as necessary to produce insights. User-based data are utilized to predict patterns of gameplay, in-game symptom, eventually enhancing gaming. Accordingly, in this study, we tried to analyze the gaming strategy and user activity patterns utilizing Battlegrounds in-game data to detect the in-game hack.

  • In a game, the visual environment element is a means of expressing the intention of the developer, and is mediums that enable the player to gain to play experience of interaction. In this paper, the player's reaction to the visual environmental elements of the adventure game was patterned with a collection and analysis process by empirical experiments. The data collected through the experiment were about 10,000, and as a result of the analysis, 24 types of player reaction patterns were found in total. This can be used as a guideline for game space design by matching the properties of visual environment elements and the reactions against players occurring in the game play process to examine the play experience.

  • As the industry develops, the technology used for games is also being advanced. In particular, AI technology is used to game automation and intelligence. These game player patterns are widely used in online games such as player matchmaking, generation of friendly or hostile NPCs, and balancing of game worlds. This study proposes a model generation method for game players. For model generation, attributes such as hunting, collection, movement, combat, crisis management, production, and interaction were defined, and patterns were extracted and modeled using decision tree method. To evaluate the proposed method, we used the game log of a commercial game and confirmed the meaningful results.

  • It is important for firms to help customers find the products or information they need in order to increase sales and promote return visits to their websites. Hence, the presentation of product information is very important in e-commerce websites. In this research, we study how disposition styles can influence browsing patterns. The test results show that people are inclined to use feature information paths in the vertical disposition style and product information paths in the horizontal disposition style. With vertical disposition, users are more likely to follow feature information paths which may help them focus on comparisons across products.

  • This study introduces the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and explores the characteristics of CLASS for observing classroom. The CLASS is a standardized observation instrument that was largely developed for use in the USA. The CLASS attempts to provide a conceptual framework for categorizing classroom interactions and consists of three broad domains of quality (emotional supports, classroom organization, instructional supports). We simulated this method to the elementary school classes. The professional-teacher makes the best use of student's initiation behaviors, and the novice teacher focused on the leading the contents of subject. The novice teacher tyr to make more positive climate and to present more frequent feedback to students than professional teacher's classroom. The professional teacher would like to reveal the student's opinions, questions and subtle emotional state. The CLASS can be used to collect data on a wide range of specific aspects of the teaching and learning process at any given time.

  • 음성을 통한 사용자 간의 정보 교환 방법은 추가적인 훈련 과정이나 장비가 필요하지 않고 공간 제약이 거의 없기 때문에 노약자 등 사용자의 연령대에 관계없이 사용될 수 있다. 또한 음성 정보는 시각이나 촉각 등 다른 정보 수단과의 상호 작용으로 상승 효과를 유발할 수 있기 때문에 사람과 기계 사이의 인터페이스로 활용될 경우 정보 전달력을 높이면서 사용자 친화적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 동일한 상황에서 동일한 유형의 음성 정보가 사용자에게 지속적으로 제공될 경우 표현상의 단조로움으로 인해 정보 전달력이 급감할 수 있는 문제점도 지니고 있다. 따라서 음성을 통한 정보 전달의 경우 동일 상황이라 하더라도 사용자의 행동 패턴, 심리 상태, 주변 환경 등에 따라 차별화된 문장 구조 및 어휘의 선택으로 긴장감을 유지시켜 줄 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 5 세 전후의 어린이를 대상으로 그들의 행동 패턴 분석에 기반하여 개별화된 음성 합성 결과를 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 유치원이라는 물리적 공간에서 어린이들의 주된 행동 패턴을 분석하고, 현직 유치원 교사를 대상으로 동일한 정보를 전달하는 조건을 통하여 어린이의 행동 패턴과 위치 정보, 연령 및 성격에 따른 발화 문장의 문장 구조와 어휘적 특성을 파악한다. 최종적으로, 개별화된 음성 합성 결과를 위해 유치원 공간을 시뮬레이션 하고 RFID 를 이용하여 어린이의 행동 패턴 및 위치 정보를 파악한다. 그리고 각 상황에 따라 분석된 발화문의 문장 구조와 어휘 특성을 반영하여 음성으로 합성될 문장의 문장 구조 및 어휘를 재구성하여 사용자 개별화된 음성 합성 결과를 생성한다. 이러한 결과를 통해 어린이의 행동 패턴이 발화문의 문장 구조 및 어휘에 미치는 영향에 대해서 살펴보고 재구성된 결과 발화문을 평가한다.

Performance Enhancement of Tree Kernel-based Protein-Protein Interaction Extraction by Parse Tree Pruning and Decay Factor Adjustment (구문 트리 가지치기 및 소멸 인자 조정을 통한 트리 커널 기반 단백질 간 상호작용 추출 성능 향상)

  • This paper introduces a novel way to leverage convolution parse tree kernel to extract the interaction information between two proteins in a sentence without multiple features, clues and complicated kernels. Our approach needs only the parse tree alone of a candidate sentence including pairs of protein names which is potential to have interaction information. The main contribution of this paper is two folds. First, we show that for the PPI, it is imperative to execute parse tree pruning removing unnecessary context information in deciding whether the current sentence imposes interaction information between proteins by comparing with the latest existing approaches' performance. Secondly, this paper presents that tree kernel decay factor can play an pivotal role in improving the extraction performance with the identical learning conditions. Consequently, we could witness that it is not always the case that multiple kernels with multiple parsers perform better than each kernels alone for PPI extraction, which has been argued in the previous research by presenting our out-performed experimental results compared to the two existing methods by 19.8% and 14% respectively.

Analysis of Changes in the Population Potential of the Neighboring Areas of Sejong City Using the Accessibility Model (Accessibility 모델을 활용한 세종시 인접 지역의 인구잠재력 변화 분석)

  • As large-scale housing sites are being developed rapidly in Sejong City, which was launched in 2012 for resolving the adverse effects of overconcentration in the capital area, promoting balanced development of the country, and reinforcing national competitiveness, changes in spatial structure are expected in the surrounding areas. For setting the directions of urban planning, it is essential to understand changes in spatial structure. This study purposed to measure changes in the spatial structure of neighboring areas resulting from the construction of Sejong City by approaching from the aspect of spatial interaction. In the analysis, we calculated population potential for future spatial interaction using the accessibility model, and interpreted quantitatively and qualitatively the outcomes of spatial interaction among neighboring areas before and after the construction of Sejong City using population potential as an indicator. According to the results of the analysis, the impact range of the population potential of the subject areas had been shrinking continuously since 1995, and in 2013 population potential dispersed as the population concentrated on and around Cheonan City. Although Sejong City, as a new area of population potential, was not found to play the role of a pivotal point for the surrounding areas, it is probably because the analysis was made just after people began to move to Sejong City. Accordingly, along with the effort of Sejong City to reach the planned population, it is necessary to keep monitoring changes in related factors and changes in the spatial structure of the surrounding cities resulting from the growth of population.
