  • In this study, shape-based track management by analyzing track irregularity was studied in terms of force-based track irregularity analysis by numerical analysis of wheel-rail interaction force using by the measured vertical irregularity. The effect of the vertical irregularity of the track due to the difference in track types on the wheel-rail interaction force and the track acceleration in the connecting section of the sleeper floating track and the direct fixation track on concrete bed were analyzed. As the results of this study, the measured vertical irregularity was directly affect the vertical wheel load (the wheel-rail interaction force) and the rail acceleration, and it has been demonstrated to change consistently. In this study, the adequacy and necessity of the force-based track irregularity analysis method was verified based on the wheel-rail interaction analysis using the the measured vertical irregularity.

  • This study analyzed how interdependence between China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore stock markets changed after the implementation of Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect system using the EGARCH-GED model that allow simultaneous analysis of return and variability. Since the implementation of this system, the interdependence of Taiwan stock market with the Greater China stock markets has been weakened, and the interdependence of Singapore's stock market with the Greater China stock markets has not been exist. On the other hand, he interdependence between China and Hong Kong stock markets has been shown to be significantly enhanced since the implementation of this system. This is appears to be the result of improved conditions for Chinese and Hong Kong investors to invest in the two stock markets following the implementation of this system. Thus, considering the portfolio investment in the Greater China stock markets, the investors will need to develop their investment strategies in light of these facts that the weakening interdependence of the Taiwan and Singapore securities markets and the strengthening interdependence of the Chinese and Hong Kong securities markets.

  • The purpose of the study was to understand how the interplay between organizational and national cultures affects the management of IUICs (International University-Industry Collaboration) devoted to technology innovation and transfer. This study presents two examples of IUIC drawn from a qualitative research method, both involving a British university and a Japanese company. The first case illustrates how different organizational practices (organizational culture), which are nested in the national culture (values), raise questions about the role of ethical boundaries in causing misunderstandings and the deterioration of UIC relationships. The second case demonstrates how long-term relationships and extensive interpersonal interactions can play a positive role in IUIC. Practical implications, the limitation of this study and further studies have been discussed.

The Effect of CoP(Community of Practice) Influence Factors on Satisfaction and Learning Culture Activation in R&D Groups: Based on Comparison Analysis by Group Maturity (연구개발 직군의 실행공동체 영향요인이 만족도 및 학습문화 활성화에 미치는 영향:집단 성숙도에 따른 비교 분석)

  • This study analyzes the effect of CoP(Community of Practice) influence factors on satisfaction and learning culture activation in R&D groups. Research model and hypothesis is designed the relationship the effect factors for CoP which are consist of personal factor, interacting factor, support factor and environmental factor and satisfaction and the learning culture activation focused on comparing between maturity and immaturity CoP member group. It conducted an analysis based on 371 survey responses significantly. Hence, interacting, supporting and personal factor have a significant positive effect on satisfaction but environmental factor was negative effect to it. CoP Satisfaction has a positive effect on the learning culture activation. However average between two groups has not a statistically significant difference in all of the factors. At the result, interacting between members is the most important factor to the successful CoP development of R&D groups.
